Public School 108 is a historic school building located in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn, New York, New York. It was designed by James W. Naughton and built in 1895. It is a three-story, brick building trimmed in Lake Superior sandstone in the Romanesque Revival style. It has an attic fourth floor pierced by dormer windows. It consists of a seven bay central section connected to three bay wide end pavilions by recessed wings.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The building continues to house an elementary school, now known as P.S. 108 Sal Abbracciamento School.

Naughton. It is a two-story, brick building on a stone base in the Romanesque Revival style. It features a slightly projecting central tower and terra cotta decorative details.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

The Linwood Street station was a station on the demolished BMT Fulton Street Line in Brooklyn, New York City. It had 2 tracks and 2 side platforms. It was served by trains of the BMT Fulton Street Line. The station was built on February 22, 1892, and served as the eastern terminus of the Fulton Street elevated line for one month. The next stop to the east was Montauk Avenue. The next stop to the west was Van Siclen Avenue. On November 28, 1948, the Independent Subway System opened the underground Shepherd Avenue Subway station two blocks east after years of war-time construction delays. This station rendered both Linwood station and the nearby Montauk Avenue station obsolete, and it closed on April 26, 1956.

The Shepherd Avenue station is a local station on the IND Fulton Street Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Shepherd and Pitkin Avenues in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn, it is served by the C train at all times except nights, when the A train takes over service. Construction on the Shepherd Avenue station started in 1938 as part of a four-station extension of the Fulton Street subway eastward under Pitkin Avenue toward Queens. Work was delayed by funding problems due to World War II, even though the stations were mostly complete. Construction resumed on the extension of the Fulton Street Line in November 1946, and this part of the Fulton Street Line opened in 1948. The extension of the Fulton Street subway replaced the Fulton Street elevated line, which closed afterward.

Transit Tech High School is a vocational high school in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. It is a trade school whose mission is the training of students for careers in the rapid transit industry. It is located at 1 Wells Street, at the corner of Fountain Avenue, between Atlantic Avenue and Liberty Avenue. The athletic field for the school is at the south side of the beginning of Conduit Boulevard. The school was originally named East New York Continuation High School in 1915, but was renamed to East New York Workers High School of Brooklyn in 1922. In 1941, it was renamed to East New York Vocational High School. Finally, in 1992 it was renamed to Transit Tech High School. In October 2022, the first football team for the school was created, over its 100+ years.

Andrews United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church at 95 Richmond Street in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn, New York, United States. It is now Andrews Ghana Wesley United Methodist Church. It was built in 1893 and is a one-story, asymmetrical orange brick church in the Queen Anne style. It features a massive rose window on the front facade and a three-story, square bell tower. The interior is arranged on the Akron Plan. Attached to the church is a two-story Sunday school wing. Also on the property is the original church parsonage It is a two-story frame dwelling built in 1878–1879 in the Italianate style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Cypress Hills National Cemetery is a 18.2-acre (7.4 ha) cemetery located in the Cypress Hills neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. It is the only United States National Cemetery in New York City and has more than 21,100 interments of veterans and civilians. There are 24 Medal of Honor recipients buried in the cemetery, including three men who received the award twice. Although Cypress Hills was established to honor Civil War veterans, its grounds include the graves of soldiers who fought in the American Revolutionary War, Spanish–American War, Korean War and Vietnam War.Cypress Hills National Cemetery opened in 1862 and gravesites were exhausted in 1954. However, burials of veteran's spouses continues at the rate of approximately ten per year. The two sections of this national cemetery are located approximately one half-mile apart.

Yeshiva Toras Chaim was an American Haredi Lithuanian-type boys' and men's yeshiva in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn that was "established by the pioneering Rabbi Isaac Shmidman" in 1927.The full name of the Belmont Avenue location, reflecting both the lower grades and the high school, was Yeshiva and Mesivta Torahs Chaim of Greater New York.
