The Boulevard at the Capital Centre

The Capital Centre (later USAir Arena and US Airways Arena) was an indoor arena in the eastern United States, located in Landover, Maryland, a suburb east of Washington, D.C. The seating capacity was 18,756 for basketball and 18,130 for hockey. Opened in late 1973, it closed in March 2002, and was demolished that December.

Downtown Largo station (also known as Largo) is an island-platformed Washington Metro station in Lake Arbor, Prince George's County, Maryland, United States, with a Largo postal address.The station opened on December 18, 2004, as Largo Town Center and is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). It is the eastern terminus of the Blue and Silver Lines, and serves the town of Largo and the former The Boulevard at the Capital Centre. It is the first and so far only station in Prince George's County outside the Capital Beltway, and is located about 1 mile (1.6 km) from FedExField, the home of the Washington Commanders. It is also a major commuter station, with two parking garages, containing a total of 2,200 spaces, connected by a bridge at the top level. This station is also the only terminus that has two lines terminating at it.

Ridgley Methodist Episcopal Church, constructed in 1921, is a one-story frame church on the north side of Central Avenue in Landover, Prince George's County, Maryland. The church was founded in 1871 and a cemetery begun in 1892. It served as the spiritual and social center of the formerly rural African American farming community of Ridgley.The gable-front church consists of a 1921 block on the south and a small 1940s extension on the north. The church was moved from its original location to its current location in 1990. In 2002, the church suffered a fire that destroyed the original plaster. The cemetery has about 20 mostly hand carved gravestones with flower and vine motif, arranged in orderly rows and grouped by families. The stones date from the 1910s to the 1940s. It is currently home to New Rock Church. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Lake Arbor is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 14,541 at the 2020 census. It is one of the nation's most affluent African-American communities. The ZIP Codes encompassing the CDP area are 20721 and 20774.In the 1990s, the U.S. Census Bureau defined the area now delineated as Lake Arbor CDP as being in Mitchellville CDP. The Lake Arbor CDP was delineated as of the 2000 U.S. Census.

FedExField (originally Jack Kent Cooke Stadium) is an American football stadium located in Landover, Maryland, 5 miles (8.0 km) east of Washington, D.C. The stadium is the home of the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). From 2004 until 2010, it had the NFL's largest seating capacity: over 91,000. In 2021, the capacity was reduced to 58,000. The stadium is owned and managed by the Commanders.

The Ridgeley School is a historic Rosenwald school building at 8605 Central Avenue in Capitol Heights, Maryland. It is a single-story wood-frame structure with a hip roof, built in 1927 with funding support from the Rosenwald Fund. Originally built with two classrooms, a third was added later. In 2009-11 the property underwent restoration and conversion for use as a local history museum. It is one of four two-room Rosenwald schools built in Prince George's County.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Landover Mall was a large shopping mall located in Landover, Maryland, directly across from FedExField, off MD 202 and Interstates 95 and 495. The mall was built by Sonny Abramson and Ted Lerner of Lerner Enterprises, and opened in 1972. Like its neighbor, Capital Plaza Mall, it was a major attraction through its opening years in Prince George's County. The mall featured many anchors and smaller tenants; however, upon the decline and closing of its major anchors, the mall itself entered a state of decline. Finally, in 2002, the mall's doors were closed and it ultimately was demolished in 2006. Sears remained open because it owned the land beneath the store. Sears later sold the land underneath its store to Lerner. In January 2014, Sears announced that it would close in March.

Summerfield is a census-designated place near Landover in Prince George's County, Maryland. As of the 2020 census, the population was 14,758. It is a suburb of Washington, D.C. FedExField is located in Summerfield CDP, as is the Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex.Prior to the 2010 Census, the area was not covered by another census-designated place.
