Owned by Family Life Broadcasting, it broadcasts a contemporary Christian radio format, with some Christian talk and teaching programs. Its studios are located in the Fisher Building in New Center, while its transmitter is located at the intersection of 10 Mile and Greenfield Road in suburban Oak Park.

WXYT-FM (97.1 MHz "97.1 The Ticket") is a commercial radio station in Detroit, Michigan, serving Metro Detroit and much of Southeast Michigan. It airs a sports radio format and is owned by Audacy, Inc. Its studios and offices are located in the nearby suburb of Southfield. It has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 15,000 watts. The transmitter site is off Greenfield Road near Interstate 696 (Walter P. Reuther Freeway) on Southfield's eastern side, co-located with the tower for WDIV-TV. In addition to its standard analog transmission, 97.1 The Ticket broadcasts in the HD Radio hybrid format; with AM all news sister station WWJ (a CBS News Radio affiliate) on the HD2 sub-channel, and WXYT (a BetQL Network affiliate) on the HD3 sub-channel. It is also available online via Audacy, with live video feeds of its weekday shows available via Twitch from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET (although the Twitch feed instead plays public domain music during commercial breaks and excludes copyrighted material such as press conference clips).

WDIV-TV (channel 4) is a television station in Detroit, Michigan, United States, affiliated with NBC. It serves as the flagship broadcast property of the Graham Media Group subsidiary of Graham Holdings Company. WDIV-TV maintains studio facilities on West Lafayette Boulevard in Detroit, making it the only major television station in the market with offices and studios within the Detroit city limits. Detroit's other television stations are all based in the suburb of Southfield; WDIV's transmitter is, however, located on Greenfield Road in Southfield.

Oak Park Ice Arena is an indoor arena located in the Detroit suburb of Oak Park, Michigan. It was built in 1971 and was a temporary home for the Detroit Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League in 1996. Current teams that call the rink home include, the Little Ceasers AAA Hockey Club, Brother Rice High school, and Rolston Hockey Academy.

Oak Park High School is a public high school located in Oak Park, Michigan an inner suburb of Detroit. The school is part of the Oak Park School district. It serves about 1,130 students in grades 9 to 12 from Oak Park and surrounding communities around Detroit.In 2010, as a part of the Federal School Improvement Framework, the school was identified by the State of Michigan as one of 92 schools with the lowest achieving, according to performance on Michigan standardized tests. Eligible schools were invited to apply for a grant of up to 6 million dollars over three years to support efforts to raise academic achievement. Oak Park High School's grant application was awarded $4.2 million. The school was one of 28 schools that were awarded grant funds.The school colors are red, black, and white. The school mascot is the Oak Park Knights.

Owned and operated by the network's Fox Television Stations division, the station maintains studios and transmitter facilities on West 9 Mile Road in the Detroit suburb of Southfield.WJBK's over-the-air signal covers all of Metro Detroit, along with Southwestern Ontario, Canada, surrounding the city of Windsor. The station is also carried on most cable systems in southeast Michigan, southwestern Ontario and northwest Ohio.

Oak Park is a city in Oakland County, Michigan, United States. An inner-ring suburb of Detroit, Oak Park borders Detroit to the north, roughly 14 miles (22.5 km) northwest of downtown Detroit. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 29,560.

Northland Center is an abandoned enclosed shopping mall on an approximately 159-acre (64 ha) site located near the intersection of M-10 (the John C. Lodge Freeway) and Greenfield Road in Southfield, Michigan, an inner-ring suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. Construction began in 1952 and the mall opened on March 22, 1954. Northland was a milestone for regional shopping centers in the United States. Designed by Victor Gruen, the mall initially included a four-level Hudson's with a ring of stores surrounding it. As originally built, it was an open air pedestrian mall with arrayed structures. The mall was enclosed in 1975 and expanded several times in its history. Additions included five other department store anchors: J. C. Penney in 1975, MainStreet in 1985 (sold to Kohl's three years later), and TJ Maxx, Target, and Montgomery Ward in the 1990s. Managed by Spinoso Real Estate Group, Northland Center featured approximately 100 stores. Macy's, the last anchor, closed on March 22, 2015, exactly 61 years to the date of the mall's opening.

AGBU Alex and Marie Manoogian School (Armenian: Ալեք Մանուկյան վարժարան) is a charter K-12 Armenian school in Southfield, Michigan in Metro Detroit. It is affiliated with Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU). Central Michigan University is the charter overseer.

Hardcore Pawn is an American reality television series produced by RDF USA (later Zodiak Media) and Richard Dominick Productions for truTV about the day-to-day operations of American Jewelry and Loan, a family-owned and -operated pawn shop and broker in Detroit, Michigan's 8 Mile Road corridor.The series premiered on August 16, 2010, delivering two million viewers, setting a record as truTV's most-watched series premiere ever. Production was halted and the show was canceled in 2014.

Northland Gardens is a residential historic district located along Westland Avenue Westhampton Road, Rutland Drive, and Westover Road between Southfield Road & the John C. Lodge Freeway in Southfield, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

Berkley High School is a public high school in Berkley, Michigan. Berkley High's colors are maroon and blue and the school's mascot is a bear. Berkley is well known for its college prep courses, high standardized test scores, and teachers and administrators. BHS offers 20+ Advanced Placement courses at its campus. Additional Advanced Placement courses and electives are available to students who elect to attend the Center for Advanced Studies and the Arts (CASA), an afternoon consortium school run jointly by Berkley and six neighboring school districts, or the Oakland Schools Technical Campus (OSTC), a vocational education center run by Oakland Schools. Their newspaper is The Spectator, which is a member of the High School National Ad Network. Berkley's graduation ceremony is held annually at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre. The principal is Andrew Meloche and the assistant principals are Meredith Julius & Evelyn Coleman. Originally established in 1922, the first Berkley High building was on the northwest corner of Berkley Avenue & Catalpa Drive which was demolished in 1980, although portions of the building saved from demolition now serve as the robotics facility and district maintenance shop. The current BHS campus opened in 1948 with 8 classrooms, and has expanded several times since. In 1949 a new classroom and vocational wing were added, 1955 brought another wing and a library/cafeteria. 1961 added a third wing of 18 new classrooms and two music rooms and in 1975 the Loren Disbrow Athletic Complex was added which included a new larger gym which serves as the Bears’ basketball arena. In 1987 the 800-seat Berkley Auditorium was opened as a hub for the schools many performing arts. 2003 brought the addition of the collaborative center which serves as a multi-purpose space. A major renovation occurred in 2016 and 2017 where the school was updated with new technology and building systems and a new main office vestibule. Berkley High School has been accredited by the Michigan North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement since the 1928–29 school year.As of the 2012–13 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,250 students and 74.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 18.1.Berkley High School was named to Newsweek’s 2013 list of 2,000 Best High Schools in the nation—ranked 22nd in Michigan. This ranking highlights the schools that have proven to be the most effective in turning out college-ready graduates. BHS has been on the Newsweek Best High Schools list since 2008. The high school scored above state averages in all MME/ACT categories in 2013.
