The Hereford Academy is a secondary school and sixth form located in Hereford, Herefordshire, England.It was known as Haywood High School in the late seventies until 2006, when it was renamed as Wyebridge Sports College. On 1 September 2008 it was renamed The Hereford Academy. It has been, like Whitecross Hereford High School re-classified as a Sports College. The Academy's new building opened in September 2011, and the demolition of the old school site, making way for new playing fields to be laid out, was completed in Spring 2012. Sixth form is located in the school as it is called "Post 16", students here are aged 16 and exceeded 18 years of age.Maths, English and P.E. are 'key topics' and other topics (French, Music, History, Geography and PHSE) are either repeated twice or remain single. There are places called "ELZ" in history, Science, Maths and technology.The punishments are called a 'C System' many children who give out a bad behaviour are given a C1, this gives them a warning and have house points taken away. A C2 is a second warning and more house points are removed. The C3 is an hour detention as children will wait until 4 PM. C4 is reflection. C5 is exclusion, permanent or term. There are six forms: Atlas, Castor, Deneb, Mizar, Rigel and Sirius. The forms are named after stars bigger than the Sun. First is Year 7 will be 7Atlas or 7Deneb etc. This is for all of the years until 6th form. School starts at 8:30 and finishes at 15:00 apart from a Monday where students still start at 8:30 but finish at 14:15.

Haywood is a civil parish in Herefordshire, England, and south-west of Hereford. Parish population at the 2011 census was 216. There are no substantial settlements, however, it is home to one of the largest poultry farms in Great Britain. The Hay of Hereford was a Royal forest in the early Middle Ages. It was granted by Empress Matilda to Milo of Gloucester when she created him Earl of Hereford. The woodlands can be seen on Saxton's 1577 map of Herefordshire.Haywood was officially outside of any parish in the mid-1800s.

Belmont Rural is a civil parish in Herefordshire, England. The population of the Civil Parish taken at the 2011 Census was 3,769. It is south-west of Hereford. The name Belmont Rural was chosen because it is separate from the City of Hereford and borders open countryside on its Western boundary and has the River Wye as its Northern boundary. Belmont Rural Parish was formed 20 years ago and includes 1800 modern houses and a considerable amount of public open space. The Parish is fortunate to have two Community Centres, one of which houses a small public library. It also hosts a medium-sized Tesco Store and the Three Counties Hotel, which are the only businesses of any size in the community. It also has a Medical Centre and an adjacent Pharmacy. Belmont Rural is essentially a dormitory parish. Its residents work elsewhere or are retired. Belmont Rural does not have any schools. Generally it is a very relaxing and attractive place to live, except in the "rush" hours when the main artery the A465 is jammed with stationary traffic.

Belmont Abbey, in Herefordshire, England, is a Catholic Benedictine monastery that forms part of the English Benedictine Congregation. It stands on a small hill overlooking the city of Hereford to the east, with views across to the Black Mountains in Wales to the west. The 19th century Abbey also serves as a parish church.

The Cider Museum is a museum in Hereford, England, about the history of cider. The museum was set up as a Trust in the 1970s by Bertram Bulmer, Norman Weston and the Director of Long Ashton Research Station, John Hudson. They realised that unless a collection was started, then much of the story of cider making would be lost. Initially, the aim was to represent the international history of cider-making, but the majority of the collections have been drawn from England and the West Country. The museum is housed in a former cider-making factory at Pomona Place in Hereford, which dates back to 1888. This was the birthplace of Bulmer's Cider. Henry Percival Bulmer started making cider in 1887 and was joined by his brother Fred from Cambridge. A year later they purchased a plot of ground on the outskirts of Hereford to build a 'shack' to make and store cider. Extensive cellars were later excavated in 1889 and the building was extended to incorporate both the factory and offices, with a grand new frontage added in the 1920s.

The Wye Bridge is a Grade I listed stone bridge in Hereford, the county town of Herefordshire in England. Spanning the River Wye, it was constructed in 1490 to replace an earlier timber bridge dating back to the twelfth century. During the 1645 Siege of Hereford in the English Civil War it was the scene of heavy fighting between the English Royalist defenders and the Scottish Covenanter besiegers. A gatehouse that stood on the site was severely damaged and was later demolished in the eighteenth century.

The Victoria Eye Hospital was a health facility located on Eign Street in Hereford, England. The main building has since been converted into apartments.

The Hereford Museum and Art Gallery is a museum and art gallery located in the cathedral city of Hereford, Herefordshire, England.Opened in 1874, through the generosity of Sir James Rankin MP, President of the Woolhope Naturalists' Field Club. The museum and art gallery had around 1,000 objects on permanent display. The displays cover local history, natural sciences and fine and decorative arts. The museum is part of Herefordshire Council's Museum Service. The museum and art gallery is currently closed for a major redevelopment.

Hereford Moorfields railway station was a station in Hereford, Herefordshire, England. The station was opened in 1863 and closed in 1874. The station handled goods traffic from 1874 until 1979 and the Bulmer Railway Centre operated on the site from 1968 to the 1990s.
