The Agawam Diner is an historic diner at 166 Newburyport Turnpike (U.S. Route 1) in Rowley, Massachusetts. It was manufactured in 1954 and moved to this location in 1970 after first being in Ipswich. It is the town's only diner and one of only six in the state manufactured by the Fodero Dining Car Company. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Chaplin–Clarke House is a historic First Period house at 109 Haverhill Street in Rowley, Massachusetts. Its oldest section built c. 1670 by Joseph Chaplin, it is the oldest house in Rowley. The house began as a full width two story wood-frame structure that was only one room deep; the leanto section at the rear was added c. 1700. The house was acquired in the early 1700s by Richard Clarke, in whose family it remained until the early 20th century. It was owned for a time by the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (now called Historic New England), but is now in private hands.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Its oldest portion dating to about 1677, it is a well-preserved example of First Period architecture, modified by repeated addition during the 18th century. The house has belonged to the Rowley Historical Society since the 1920s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Governor's Academy is an independent school north of Boston located on 456 acres (1.85 km2) in the village of Byfield, Massachusetts, United States (town of Newbury), 33 miles (53 km) north of Boston. The academy enrolls approximately 412 students in grades nine through twelve, 70% of whom are boarders. The school was established in 1763 and is the oldest continuously operating independent boarding school in the United States.

The Hale-Boynton House is a historic house on Middle Street in Newbury, Massachusetts. The house is now part of the campus of The Governor's Academy, where it is referred to as "Boynton House". It was built in 1764, and is notable for its well-preserved Georgian architecture, and for its association with the inventor E. Moody Boynton. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Willowdale State Forest is a Massachusetts state forest located in the towns of Hamilton, Topsfield, and Boxford. The area is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. The forest's eastern portion sits on the Ipswich River across from Bradley Palmer State Park.

The Dickinson–Pillsbury–Witham House is a historic First Period house which, along with an 18th-century barn, sits on an 8.84 acre lot in Georgetown, Massachusetts. The well-preserved building with its massive original hardwood frame has many surviving early components, including a rare original enclosed stairway, doors, wooden latches, hardware, cupboards, brick nogging in the walls, and early paint. The house was the original home of the Georgetown Historical Society. The Society moved to the Brocklebank–Nelson–Beecher House in 1975 and sold the Dickinson–Pillsbury–Witham House to an archaeologist, who took meticulous care of the property for over 40 years. During that time the building was surveyed by architectural historian and genealogist Abbott Lowell Cummings. The oldest part of the 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame colonial house was built c. 1700 by James Dickinson, and consisted of the chimney and rooms to its right. The left side rooms are also First Period, apparently built soon afterward, based on similar construction methods used on the two sections. In 1856 a knee-wall cape was moved to the lot and attached as an ell on the right-hand side against the oldest end of the dwelling. In addition to historical integrity, the house is notable for being the home of War of 1812 veteran and inventor Paul Pillsbury, who purchased the property about 1801. His inventions included devices for pegging shoes, milling bark off tree sections, and stripping kernels from ears of corn. Paul Pillsbury and his wife Elisabeth Frink had a family of seven sons and one daughter. Elisabeth died in 1829 at age 41. Pillsbury remarried in 1843 to Sarah Andrews Pike, the widow of Benjamin Pike and mother of CSA Brigadier-General Albert Pike. Paul Pillsbury was also the uncle of abolitionist Parker Pillsbury and the great-uncle of attorney Albert E. Pillsbury who drafted the bylaws of the NAACP. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Bradstreet Farm in Rowley, Mass. is believed to be the second-oldest continually operating farm in the U.S. Originally deeded by King Charles I of England to Humphrey Bradstreet in 1635, the property remained in the Bradstreet Family for many generations until 2007, when the Town of Rowley purchased the 120-acre parcel including a 19th century farmhouse and 18th century barn. The Town set aside 103 acres as conservation land, and sold seven acres including the farmhouse and barn as a private residence with historic preservation restrictions. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
