Foshan (UK: , US: ), alternately romanized as Fatshan, is a prefecture-level city in central Guangdong Province, China. The entire prefecture covers 3,848 km2 (1,486 sq mi) and had a population of 9,498,863 as of the 2020 census. The city is part of the western side of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone whose built-up (or metro) area was home to 65,694,622 inhabitants as of 2020 (excluding Hong Kong not conurbated yet), making it the biggest urban area of the world. Foshan is regarded as the home of Cantonese opera, a genre of Chinese opera; Nanquan, a martial art; and lion dancing.

Chancheng District is a district and the seat of the city of Foshan, Guangdong Province, China. Chancheng is the economic, cultural and political center of the city.

Pujun Beilu Station (Chinese: 普君北路站; pinyin: Pǔjūn Běilù Zhàn; Jyutping: pou2gwan1 bak1lou6 zaam6) is a metro station on the Guangfo Line (FMetro Line 1). located under Zhaoxiang Road (兆祥路) just west of its junction Pujun North Road (普君北路) and Shidongxia Road (市东下路) in the Chancheng District of Foshan, near Zhaoxiang Park (兆祥公园) and the Guangdong Cantonese Opera Museum (广东粤剧博物馆). It was completed on 3 November 2010.

Jihua Park Station (Chinese: 季华园站), formerly Lujing Lu Station (绿景路站) during planning, is a metro station on the Guangfo Line (FMetro Line 1) on the Guangzhou Metro. It is also planned to be an interchange station between Guangfo Line (FMetro Line 1) and FMetro Line 4. It is located under Fenjiang South Road (汾江南路) south of its junction with Yingyin Road (影荫路) in the Chancheng District of Foshan, near Jihua Park (季华公园). The station is situated in the financial and business centre of Foshan. It was completed on 3 November 2010.

Tongji Lu Station (Chinese: 同济路站; lit. 'Tongji Road Station') is a metro station on the Guangfo Line (FMetro Line 1). It is located under the junction of Fenjiang Middle Road (汾江中路) and Tongji Road (同济路) in the Chancheng District of Foshan. The station is near the business areas of Jihua Road (季华路) and the Foshan Ancestral Temple (佛山祖庙), and there are many leisure and entertainment facilities nearby. It was completed on 3 November 2010.

The Battle of Fatshan Creek (佛山水道之戰) was a naval engagement fought between the United Kingdom's Royal Navy and the Cantonese fleet of Qing China on 1 June 1857. Rear-Admiral Sir Michael Seymour sought out and destroyed the Chinese fleet before advancing to the city of Canton (modern-day Foshan) for its capture.

Chao'an Station (Chinese: 朝安站; pinyin: Cháo'ān Zhàn; Jyutping: ciu4ngon1 zaam6) is a metro station on the Guangzhou Metro's Guangfo Line (FMetro Line 1). It is located underground at the junction of Zhaoxiang Road (兆祥路) and North Chao'an Road (朝安北路) in the Chancheng District of Foshan. The station is surrounded by textile and cotton factories and is near the Huanshi Children's Garments Trade Centre (环市童装交易中心), China's largest children garment trade centre. It was completed on 3 November 2010.

Foshan Wong Fei-hung Memorial Hall (or Foshan Huang Feihong Memorial Hall) (佛山黄飞鸿纪念馆; 佛山黃飛鴻紀念館; Fóshān Huáng Fēihóng Jìniànguǎn; Fat6-Saan1 Wong4Fei1-hung4 Gei3-nim6-gun2) is a museum in memory of Wong Fei-hung.

Zumiao Station (Chinese: 祖庙站; lit. 'Ancestral Temple Station'), is a metro station on Guangfo Line (FMetro Line 1), which will be the future interchange station between Guangfo Line (FMetro Line 1) and FMetro Line 5. It is located under Jianxin Road (建新路) east of its junction with Zumiao Road (祖庙路) in the Chancheng District of Foshan, near the Foshan Ancestral Temple. The station lies in the central business district of Foshan old city and was completed on 3 November 2010.

Foshan Ancestral Temple aka. Foshan Zumiao is a Daoist temple in Foshan, Guangdong, China. It is a national AAAA tourist attraction approved by the China National Tourism Administration, covering an area of 25,000 square metres (270,000 sq ft). Foshan Ancestral Temple captures a million visitors at home and abroad every year with its well preserved ancient construction complex and its luxuriant folk culture. Foreign leaders and celebrities of various counties are frequent visitors to the temple.

Kuiqi Lu station (Chinese: 魁奇路站; pinyin: Kuíqí Lù Zhàn; Jyutping: fui1kei4 lou6 zaam6; lit. 'Kuiqi Road station') is the interchange station between Guangfo Line (FMetro Line 1) and FMetro Line 2. Trial construction began in 2003 and the main project in 2005. The station is located under the junction of Kuiqi Road (魁奇路) and Fenjiang Road (汾江路) in the Chancheng District of Foshan. The station is the public transport hub for the Metro, bus services and taxis in Foshan and was completed on 3 November 2010. Line 2 started operations on 28 December 2021.
