Armada House (grid reference ST587728) (previously known as Nova House) is in Telephone Avenue, Off Baldwin Street, Bristol It was built in 1903 by Henry Williams, and is now used as offices and a conference centre. It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II listed building.It was formerly the offices of the National Telephone Co.In 1971 one room was equipped by Post Office Telecommunications as a Confravision studio.From 1982 the second floor was used by British Telecommunications as "Telecom TAN", one of the first commercial call centres & messaging bureaux in the UK.

The Lloyds Bank (grid reference ST587729) is an historic building situated at 53 & 55 Corn Street in Bristol, England. Originally the West of England and South Wales Bank built by Bristol architects William Bruce Gingell (1819–1899) and T.R. Lysaght in 1854. Gingell was one of the most progressive Bristol architects of the latter part of the nineteenth century. He went on to design the General Hospital. Gingell is said to have used St Mark's library in Venice as a starting point for this building. The sumptuous friezes by are by John Thomas (1813–1862). John Thomas had been responsible for overseeing the carving on Charles Barry's new Houses of Parliament. On the ground floor the crests of Newport, Bath, Bristol, Exeter, and Cardiff are shown – the main towns from where the bank operated. On the first floor the ‘elements and sources of wealth’ are symbolised by life-size figures. They include: justice and integrity; education and charity; peace and plenty; art and science; commerce, navigation and commerce. And above this chubby cherubs depict the activities of the bank: receiving, paying, storing, coining money, engraving and printing, and trading with Africa and America. The adornment was intended to emphasize the wealth, and therefore financial stability, of the bank. It didn't stop the bank going bust, however, twenty years later in 1878. The opulent interior features Corinthian columns.It is a grade II* listed building and formerly housed a branch of the Lloyds Bank.It is now a 42-room boutique hotel & luxury spa.

The Old Post Office (grid reference ST587729) is a historic building at 48 Corn Street in Bristol, England. It was built in 1746 by Samuel Glascodine to complement The Exchange, acting as the central post office for the city of Bristol for over 200 years. It was part rebuilt as a facsimile of the original in 1993 and is now used as an office. It has been designated by Historic England as a Grade I listed building.

The street is noted in the diary of Samuel Pepys as the birthplace of his maid and love interest Deb Willet.In 1967, the Bristol and West building society built its then headquarters in Marsh Street. The building has since been converted to different use.

St Nicholas' Almshouses (grid reference ST587727) is a historic building on King Street, Bristol, England. It was built in 1652 to 1656, extended in the 19th century and restored 1961 by Donald Insall. The foundations of a bastion of the City Wall were revealed during restoration. It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building.The almshouse was one of the first buildings in King Street, a new development then outside the city wall and beside the "Back Street Gate".The building was damaged during the Bristol Blitz and now presents only a facade to the street. It no longer serves the homeless as it did in previous centuries. It is now student accommodation.

Corn Street, together with Broad Street, Wine Street and High Street, is one of the four cross streets which met at the Bristol High Cross, the heart of Bristol, England when it was a walled medieval town. From this crossroads Corn Street and its later extension Clare Street runs downhill approximately 325m south-westwards to The Centre.Corn Street contains many historic buildings. The Old Library (grid reference ST587727) is a historic building on the north side of King Street, Bristol, England. It was built in 1738–40 and has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building.Until 1906 it housed the main collections of Bristol's public library, which was one of the first in England when it was founded in 1613 on the same site. Users of the library included Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Robert Southey and Humphry Davy. From 1779 the building also contained one of the country's first public displays of fossils.

The former Bristol and West Building on Marsh Street/St Augustine's Parade, Bristol and facing onto The Centre, was built in 1967 by Alec French and partners.Rising 61 metres with 17 stories, the building was formerly used as the headquarters of the Bristol and West until early 2006. It was clad in granite-chipped pre-cast concrete.In the early 2000s plans to demolish and replace with a 23-storey building, the tallest in Bristol, were proposed, but rejected. Since then, major renovations have been carried out, including re-cladding in blue-tinted glass panels of different shades to give the illusion the building merges into the sky. After several delays the building reopened in May 2009 as a 176-room hotel operated by Radisson SAS. In addition to the hotel, the site also includes residential apartments and shops.

The King William Ale House is a historic public house situated on King Street in Bristol, England. It dates from 1670 and was originally part of a row of three houses. The three have been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building since 8 January 1959. It includes a mixture of 17th-century and 18th-century features, but currently serves as a public house owned and operated by Samuel Smith Old Brewery.
