Sengkang MRT/LRT station

Compass One (formerly known as Compass Point) is a suburban shopping mall located in the town centre of Sengkang, Singapore. The mall was built as an integrated development together with a condominium, Compass Heights which is located adjacent to the mall. Originally opened on 1 August 2002, the mall closed for extensive renovation works on 26 October 2015 and re-opened on 1 September 2016.

Sengkang Public Library is a public library owned by the National Library Board situated inside Compass One in Sengkang New Town, and it occupies levels 3 and 4. It is near Sengkang Bus Interchange and the Sengkang MRT/LRT station.

Sengkang Bus Interchange is a bus interchange located on the ground level of Compass Heights condominium in the town centre of Sengkang New Town, Singapore. Located next to Sengkang MRT/LRT station, it is the second bus interchange in Singapore to be air conditioned. It was opened on 18 January 2003.

Sengkang Community Hub (Simplified Chinese: 盛港社区中心) is an amenity centre in Sengkang, within the North-East Region of Singapore. The amenity centre is located in the town centre of Sengkang New Town. It serves to provide a one-stop access to community, educational, health care, security and counselling services for the residents of Sengkang New Town. The building, which was completed in 2004, houses a neighbourhood police centre, a Singapore Post post office, a People's Association community club, a SingHealth polyclinic, a Kandang Kerbau Women's and Children's Hospital women's clinic, and a Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association office.Sengkang Community Hub, and its community club and neighbourhood police centre, were officially opened by Teo Chee Hean, Minister for Defence and Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol Group Representation Constituency, on 10 December 2005.Sengkang Community Hub is well-served by public transport, being located near the Sengkang MRT/LRT station, the Sengkang Bus Interchange and the Compassvale Bus Interchange. It is located next to Compass One Shopping Centre.

Compassvale Bus Interchange, located opposite Sengkang Bus Interchange, is a bus interchange in Sengkang, Singapore, built to increase the capacity of the existing interchange. It is bordered by Compassvale Road, Sengkang East Way and Sengkang Square. Despite its name, it is not located near the LRT station with the same name, but is actually named after the road which it is located at, Compassvale Road near Sengkang MRT/LRT station.

Compassvale is a neighbourhood of Sengkang New Town, and is located between Rivervale and Anchorvale. Compassvale encompasses the Sengkang Town Centre.

Sengkang General Hospital (abbreviation: SKH) is one of Singapore's public hospitals. The 1000-bed hospital opened its doors on 18 August 2018 and serves mainly the population of northeast Singapore, in particular Sengkang, Punggol, Hougang and Pasir Ris.The hospital is managed by Sengkang Health.Offering general hospital services with community-based care, the hospitals are part of Singapore's master plan in providing quality and accessible healthcare to all Singaporeans. The Sengkang General Hospital also partners with primary care physicians, polyclinics and intermediate and long-term care providers to offer more community-based care for the residents of northeast Singapore.

Cheng Lim LRT station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station on the Sengkang LRT line West Loop in Anchorvale, Sengkang, Singapore, located at Anchorvale Street between the junctions of Anchorvale Crescent and Sengkang East Road. It was initially not opened for passenger service since the beginning of operations of West Loop on 29 January 2005 due to little development in the area. The station was thus opened on 1 January 2013. The station is built next to Sengkang Community Hospital, which opened on 28 August 2018. The hospital is connected to the station via a linkway.

CHIJ Saint Joseph's Convent is a government-aided Catholic girls' secondary school in Sengkang, Singapore. The school is one of 11 Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ) schools in Singapore.

Nan Chiau High School (NCHS) (traditional Chinese: 南僑中學; simplified Chinese: 南侨中学; pinyin: Nánqiáo Zhōngxué; Wade–Giles: Nan2Ch'iao2 Chung1hsüeh2) is a co-educational government-aided institution in Sengkang, Singapore affiliated to the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan. It offers the four-year Express (Special) course for secondary education.Founded in 1947, the institution operates under the Special Assistance Plan (SAP), with the mission to nurture bilingual and bi-cultural scholars who are highly knowledgeable in the Chinese language and culture. Affirmed as the North Zone Centre of Excellence for Chinese Language, the institution is known for its strong Chinese foundation in terms of teaching of the language and promulgation of the heritage and culture, which are not confined to the classrooms.To date, Nan Chiau High has nurtured three President's Scholars, and is currently one of Singapore's leading schools for Infocomm Technology. It is also one of the joint organisers of the National Secondary School Chinese Creative Writing Competition.

Armenian Street Char Kway Teow is a street food stall in Anchorvale Block 303 in Anchorvale, Singapore. The food stall was originally located at the corner of Armenian Street and Loke Yew Street, and later relocated along Anchorvale Link. Two more outlets were established in 2013 and 2014.
