The NUS (National University of Singapore) High School of Math and Science, also known as NUS High School or NUSH, is a specialised independent high school in Singapore offering a six-year Integrated Programme (IP) leading to the NUS High School Diploma. Its parent university is the National University of Singapore.The school offers an accelerated mathematics and science curriculum integrated with language, arts, humanities, sports, in a modular system. Over 70% of its graduates have pursued Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine-related courses in university.

Yale-NUS College is a liberal arts college in Singapore. Established in 2011 as a collaboration between Yale University and the National University of Singapore, it was the first liberal arts college in Singapore and one of the first few in Asia. Yale-NUS was the first institution outside New Haven, Connecticut that Yale University had developed in its 300-year history, making Yale the first American Ivy League school to establish a college bearing its name in Asia. Yale-NUS is a four-year, fully residential undergraduate institution. The first class, the class of 2017, consisted of 157 students entering in 2013. At full capacity, the college has 250 students in each class. Students select their majors at the end of their second year, after two years of the Yale-NUS Common Curriculum, which was "built from scratch by the inaugural faculty, drew on the strengths of established liberal arts traditions, while introducing our students to the diverse intellectual traditions and cultures of Asia and the world". Students graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours or a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours from Yale-NUS College, conferred by NUS. About 58% of students at Yale-NUS are Singaporeans and 42% are international students. Yale-NUS College receives more than 10,000 applications annually and enrols 250 students per year, with an average acceptance rate of 5.2%. Apart from Singapore University of Technology and Design, Yale-NUS is the only other college in Singapore to follow a holistic admissions process similar to that followed by Yale and other American universities. In August 2021, it was announced that Yale-NUS College will be merged with the NUS University Scholars Programme to form a new interdisciplinary honours college, with the Class of 2025 being the last cohort of Yale-NUS students. According to Pericles Lewis, this decision was part of NUS' plan for a "broader restructuring of Singapore’s educational offerings, one that had been conceived of in 2018". The new college will not feature liberal arts subjects in its core curriculum. In January 2022, it was announced that the provisionally-named New College would be named NUS College.

The Darussalam Mosque commonly known as Masjid Darussalam is located in Clementi, Singapore. It was first established in 1979 and was officially opened in 1988. Its name, Darussalam (; from Arabic: دَار السَّلَام, romanized: Dār as-Salām) means "House of Peace" in Arabic.

Singapore Polytechnic (SP) is a post-secondary education institution and statutory board under the purview of the Ministry of Education in Singapore. Established in 1954, the institution is the first and oldest polytechnic in Singapore. The polytechnic is also renowned for its engineering programmes.

The Clementi Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Clementi, Singapore. It has a seating capacity of 4,000. It is managed by the Sport Singapore, which took over on 21 February 1983, and opened it to the public on 1 April the same year. It formerly served as the home ground for Tanjong Pagar United FC, Home United FC and Tampines Rovers FC. Rallies prior to the 2011 Singaporean general election by the Reform Party were held here.

The Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (YSTCM), a school of the National University of Singapore, is Singapore's first conservatory of music located at Conservatory Drive off Kent Ridge Crescent. Primarily an undergraduate institution, it offers full-time studies in 20 majors leading to a Bachelor of Music (Honours) Degree, as well as programmes for NUS students, graduate students, continuing education adult learners and young artists. The YSTCM maintains an undergraduate cohort of 220 Bachelor of Music students, all of whom receive full financial support through government grants, the Yong Loo Lin Trust and other donors. It also hosts a performance calendar of around 200 concerts annually.

West Coast Plaza, formerly known as Ginza Plaza (Japanese: 銀座プラザ) is a mixed retail and residential development in West Coast, Singapore. The retail building is a 3-storey development totaling approximately 160,000 sq ft (15,000 m2) of retail space.

The School of Science and Technology, Singapore (simplified Chinese: 新科技中学; traditional Chinese: 新科技中學; pinyin: xīn kē jì zhōng xué) (abbreviation: SST) is a specialised independent secondary school in Singapore, offering a four-year Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level (O-Level) Programme or a six-year Integrated Diploma Programme.The school uses the Direct School Admissions (DSA) Exercise to obtain its cohort of about 200 students, including a written test and a selection camp. The school does not take part in the Secondary 1 Posting Exercise, and extra slots are filled in by the Supplementary Intake Exercise (SIE). The school is also the sixth school in the FutureSchools@Singapore Programme, relying fully on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for its specialised curriculum.

Clementi MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East West Line in Clementi, Singapore. The station will become an interchange station with the Cross Island Line in 2032.The tracks between Clementi station and Jurong East MRT station are the second longest between any two stations on the East West Line; the longest being the tracks between Expo MRT station and Changi Airport MRT station. It takes four minutes for trains to travel between Clementi and Jurong East stations. The station is also directly linked to the Clementi Mall and Clementi Bus Interchange. Together, they form the Clementi Integrated Transport Hub (ITH).

On 5 August 1993, a train on the East West line of the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) rear-ended another train that was stationary. It was the MRT's first major incident and resulted in 156 passengers being injured. It was caused by a maintenance vehicle leaking 50 litres (11 imp gal; 13 US gal) of oil onto the tracks.

The Clementi Mall (Chinese 金文泰广场）is a shopping mall in Clementi, Singapore, at Clementi Town Centre. It is a five-storey mall with 290,000 square feet of retail space. It opened for business in January 2011, with the grand official opening in May that year. The mall is owned by CM Domain. Above the mall is Clementi Towers, the first HDB project to be co-located within a shopping mall and bus interchange.The mall hosts 135 retail outlets including 16 restaurants and cafes. Anchor tenants include Best Denki, BHG Department Store (closed on 6 March 2022) and NTUC FairPrice Finest. The Clementi Public Library is located in the mall, as is the office of the West Coast Town Council. The branch office of Singapore Post, previously located at Block 443, is also located at Level 5.
