Curdon Camp

Stogumber () is a village and civil parish in Somerset, England, on the eastern flank of the Brendon Hills. Besides Stogumber village itself, the parish includes the hamlets of Ashbeer, Capton, Escott, Higher Vexford, Kingswood, Lower Vellow, Lower Vexford, Preston, and Vellow. The village is on the route of the Samaritans Way South West.

Bridgwater and West Somerset was a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament from 2010 until the seat's dissolution in 2024 by Ian Liddell-Grainger, a Conservative. Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the seat will be subject to boundary changes, with the loss of the area comprising the former District of West Somerset to the newly created constituency of Tiverton and Minehead. This will be partly offset by the addition of the communities of Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge. As a consequence of these changes, the constituency reverted to its former name of Bridgwater, first contested at the 2024 general election.

Stogumber railway station is a station in Kingswood, Somerset, England which serves the nearby village of Stogumber. It was opened by the West Somerset Railway in 1862 and closed by British Rail early in 1971. It was subsequently reopened in 1978 by the West Somerset Railway, a heritage line. It has a different layout to most stations, in that the main building lies on the opposite side of the tracks to the platform.

The Anglican Church of St George in Sampford Brett, Somerset, England was built around 1300. It is a Grade II* listed building.

Bicknoller is a village and civil parish on the western slopes of the Quantock Hills in the English county of Somerset. The parish includes the hamlets of Culverhays, Halsway, Newton and Woolston. At the 2021 census, the parish had a population of 373. The village is on the routes of the Coleridge Way and the Macmillan Way West.

Sampford Brett is a village and civil parish situated at the south-western edge of the Quantock Hills, Somerset, England, less than 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Williton, just off the A358 road to Taunton.

Trendle Ring (or Trundle Ring) is a late prehistoric earthwork on the Quantock Hills near Bicknoller in Somerset, England. It is a Scheduled Monument. In 2013 it was added to the Heritage at Risk Register due to vulnerability to plant growth. The word trendle means circle, so it is a tautological place name. The site, which covers 0.8 hectares (2.0 acres), is surrounded by a single rampart with a ditch and has a simple opening on the East, uphill side. The hillside is steep and there are two areas which may have been more level platforms. It is situated on the slope of a hill which rises 130 m above the ring.

Elworthy is a small village and civil parish in the Brendon Hills 5 miles (8 km) south-east of Watchet, and 12 miles (19 km) west of Taunton, in Somerset, England. The parish includes the hamlet of Willett.

The Church of St Martin in Elworthy, Somerset, England, is dedicated to St Martin of Tours. It dates from the 13th century and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. Whilst the unbuttressed 2-stage crenellated tower is from the 13th century the porch and nave roof are from the late 15th century. The chancel was rebuilt in 1695 and again in 1846. It is built of red sandstone with Ham stone dressings and a slate roof. Within the church is an unusual alabaster font made with stone from a quarry near Watchet. In 1969 the parish became a chapelry of Monksilver, within the benefice of Monksilver with Brompton Ralph and Nettlecombe. It is a redundant church in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church was declared redundant on 1 August 1975, and was vested in the Trust on 19 December 1979.

Williton is a village and civil parish in Somerset, England. The village lies 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south of Watchet, and 14 miles (23 km) north-west of Taunton, its post town. As well as the village itself, the parish also covers surrounding rural areas, including the hamlets of Stream to the south-west and Doniford on the coast to the north-east, where there is a Haven Holidays centre. At the 2021 census, the parish had a population of 2,833. Williton station is on the West Somerset Railway, a heritage railway. The line also has a station at Doniford Halt. Williton is twinned with Neung-sur-Beuvron in the Loir-et-Cher département of France.

Williton was a rural district in Somerset, England, from 1894 to 1974. It was created in 1894 under the Local Government Act 1894. In 1974 it was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972 when it became part of West Somerset. The parishes which made up the Rural District included Bicknoller, Brompton Ralph, Carhampton, Clatworthy, Crowcombe, Cutcombe, Dunster, East Quantoxhead, Elworthy, Holford, Kilve, Luccombe, Luxborough, Minehead, Minehead Without, Monksilver, Nettlecombe, Oare, Old Cleeve, Porlock, Sampford Brett, Selworthy, Stogumber, Stogursey, Stringston, Timberscombe, Treborough, West Quantoxhead, Williton, Withycombe and Wootton Courtenay.

Monksilver is a village 3 miles (5 km) west of the town of Williton in Somerset, England, on the eastern flank of the Brendon Hills and the border of the Exmoor National Park. The Coleridge Way footpath passes through the village.
