East District, Taichung

Lecheng Temple (Chinese: 樂成宮; pinyin: Lèchéng Gōng) is a temple located in East District, Taichung City, Taiwan. Mazu is the main deity worshipped in the temple, and the sea goddess is known as the "Hanxi Mazu" (Chinese: 旱溪媽祖; pinyin: Hànxī Māzǔ) after the nearby Han River.

Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Taichung is an shopping mall in East District, Taichung, Taiwan. It is the first LaLaport shopping mall to be developed in the country and the fifth retail property of Mitsui Fudosan. Development on the facility started in 2019 and its construction began in June 2020.

Showtime Live Taichung Station (Chinese: 秀泰生活台中站前店) is a shopping mall in East District, Taichung, Taiwan that opened on March 9, 2017. With two blocks and a total floor area of 45,503.68 m2 (489,797.5 sq ft), the main core stores of the mall include Showtime Cinemas, and various themed restaurants.

Taroko Mall (Chinese: 大魯閣新時代購物中心) is a shopping mall in East District, Taichung, Taiwan that originally opened on September 27, 2001 as De An Mall but later changed its name to Taroko Mall on July 1, 2015. With a total floor area of 93,000 m2 (1,000,000 sq ft), the main core stores of the mall include Carrefour, H&M, Uniqlo, Muji, Fitness Factory, Taroko baseball and softball field, bowling alley and various themed restaurants. The total annual revenue in 2020 is approximately NT$2.18 billion.

Taichung station (Chinese: 臺中車站; pinyin: Táizhōng Chēzhàn) is a railway station in Taichung, Taiwan served by Taiwan Railways Administration. It is served by all TRA services along the route.

Jingwu (Chinese: 精武; pinyin: Jīngwǔ) is a railway station in Taichung, Taiwan served by Taiwan Railways. It opened in October 2018 following a delay from March 2017.

The Sunshine Plaza Outlet (Chinese: 日曜天地OUTLET) is an outlet shopping mall located in Central District, Taichung, Taiwan and officially opened in May 2008. The outlet mall has a floor area of 6,600 m2 (71,000 sq ft), which spans 4 floors, and houses about 150 brands, mainly in high-quality bags, imported brands and American leisure, as well as high-quality restaurants such as Italian restaurants.

ASEAN Square (Chinese: 東協廣場) is a shopping center located in Central District, Taichung, Taiwan. The mall opened in 1990 and is located in close proximity to Taichung railway station.

Miyahara Ice Cream (Chinese: 宮原眼科; pinyin: Gōngyuán Yǎnkē; lit. 'Miyahara eye clinic') is a confectionery, restaurant, and ice cream parlor in Central District, Taichung, Taiwan. The building is converted from a former ophthalmologist clinic dating to 1927, hence its Chinese name. The building is operated by Dawncake (日出), a Taichung-based confectionery brand.

The Le Méridien Taichung (Chinese: 台中李方艾美酒店) is a 22-storey hotel located in Central District, Taichung City, Taiwan. It is the 17th tallest building in Taiwan and the third tallest building in the city of Taichung. The hotel closed due to a fire in 2005. It reopened on October 30, 2022, following major renovations.

The Taichung Baseball Field (Chinese: 台中棒球場; pinyin: Táizhōng Bàngqiú Chǎng) is a multi-purpose stadium in North District, Taichung, Taiwan. Built in 1935 during the Taiwan under Japanese rule era, this stadium has been repeatedly refurbished and currently can seat 8,500 people. This stadium has been the home of professional baseball teams such as Jungo Bears (1993–1995), Sinon Bears (first half 1996), Sinon Bulls(second half 1996–2012) of Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) and Taichung Agan(1997–2002) of Taiwan Major League (TML). This stadium has long been a part of the National Taiwan College of Physical Education's campus and caused certain inconvenience when hosting professional baseball games. A new baseball stadium, the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium, opened in November 2006 to host the 2006 Intercontinental Cup, and it became the new home of the Sinon Bulls starting in 2010 season. Taichung Baseball Field no longer hosts professional baseball games and is only used for educational and training purposes.

The Taichung Broadcasting Bureau (traditional Chinese: 臺中放送局; simplified Chinese: 台中放送局; pinyin: Táizhōng Fàngsòng Jú) is a former radio station in North District, Taichung, Taiwan.
