New End Hospital was a hospital in Hampstead, north London. It was founded in 1869 as the infirmary for the Hampstead Union workhouse, and operated until 1986. The buildings have now been redeveloped as housing.

The Duke of Hamilton was one of the oldest pubs in London, situated in Hampstead. It was a popular meeting place for actors Peter O'Toole, Oliver Reed and Richard Burton. Reed would be seen for long periods at the pub on a daily basis.In 2011, the pub was awarded "Londoner of the Day" by London 24 magazine. The Not For Tourists Guide to London 2014 cited it as being "as good a pub you're likely to find anywhere".The pub closed in July 2017, and was reopened in early 2018 as the "Hampstead Lounge & Jazz Club".

The New End Theatre, Hampstead, was an 80-seat fringe theatre venue in London, at 27 New End in the London Borough of Camden which operated from 1974 until 2011. It was founded in 1974 by Buddy Dalton in the converted mortuary of the now-defunct New End Hospital. The mortuary was formerly linked to the hospital across the road by a tunnel. It was owned by Roy and Sonia Saunders from 1986 until 1997. Its Artistic Directors included Sonia Saunders (1986–92), Jon Harris (1992–96) and Neil McPherson (1996–97). From 1997 to 2011 it was both owned and run by Artistic Director and Chief Executive Brian Daniels. It had a number of successes including A Day in Hollywood / A Night in the Ukraine, which transferred to both the West End and Broadway; world premieres of work by Jean Anouilh, Steven Berkoff, Tom Kempinski, Richard Stirling, Arnold Wesker, Tony McHale, and Geoffrey Williams' play Tunnels Without End. The building was converted into a synagogue and Jewish cultural centre in 2011.

The Holly Bush is a Grade II listed public house in Holly Mount, Hampstead, London, NW3.The building was originally built as a house in the 1790s and used as Assembly Rooms in the 19th century before becoming a pub in 1928.In 2010, it was bought by Fuller's Brewery.Liam Gallagher has been known to frequent the pub.

Hampstead is a London Underground station in Hampstead, North London. It is on the Edgware branch of the Northern line, between Golders Green and Belsize Park stations. The branch's northernmost subterranean station, it is on the boundary between Travelcard Zone 2 and Zone 3. Designed by architect Leslie Green, it was opened on 22 June 1907 by the Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead Railway. As it is at the junction of Heath Street and Hampstead High Street, the name Heath Street was proposed before opening, and the original tiled signs on the platform walls still read Heath Street. Because Hampstead is on a steep hill, the station's platforms are the deepest on the London Underground network, at 58.5 metres (192 ft) below ground level; and it has the deepest lift shaft on the Underground, at 55 metres (180 ft). Its high-speed lifts, originally manufactured by Otis, were modernised by the Wadsworth Lift Company, and again in 2014 by Accord. To the north, between Hampstead and Golders Green stations, is the uncompleted North End or Bull & Bush station. London Overground's Hampstead Heath station on the North London line is a 10–15 minute walk east.

The Hampstead Meeting House is a Friends meeting house (a Quaker place of worship) at 120 Heath Street in Hampstead, London N3. It was designed by Fred Rowntree in the Arts and Crafts style. The friends had previously met in Willoughby Road from 1903. The Hungarian emigrant sculptor Peter Laszlo Peri was an elder of the Hampstead meeting; having joined in 1945.Mahatma Gandhi spoke at the meeting house in 1909. The prominent Australian Quaker David Hodgkin married Bridget Kelsey in the meeting house in 1940. The noted boat designer Iain Oughtred became a member of the meeting in the late 1960s. The New Zealand social worker and poet Ursula Bethell called the building a "beautiful little bare meeting house" in a 1937 letter to Rodney Kennedy. The peace activist Stephen Hobhouse attended the Hampstead meeting after graduation in the 1900s. The Chinese feminist and author Zeng Baosun attended the meeting during the 1910s. The Orthodox priest and writer Lev Gillet also attended in the 1940s despite his Orthodox faith.A Quaker funeral at the Hampstead Meeting House is depicted in Zoe Heller's 2001 novel Everything You Know.The meeting house is listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England.The meeting for worship is held on Sundays at 11 am; with an additional meeting on the first Sunday of every month at 9:30 am.

Romney's House at 5 Holly Bush Hill, Hampstead, Camden, London was the home of the artist George Romney and then of the architect Clough Williams-Ellis. It is a Grade I listed building. The house was designed for Romney by Samuel Bunce in 1797–8, as a studio and gallery. It was constructed on the site of the stables of an eighteenth century mansion, No.6 The Mount. Sold by Romney some years before his death, it was then used as The Hampstead Assembly Rooms. In 1929–30, the house was substantially remodelled by Clough Williams-Ellis as his own home and as the office for his practice. The house is now subdivided, part being run as a public house, and part in use as a private residence.

Fenton House is a 17th-century merchant's house in Hampstead in North London which belongs to the National Trust, bequeathed to them in 1952 by Lady Binning, its last owner and resident. It is a detached house with a walled garden, which is large by London standards, and features a sunken garden, an orchard and a kitchen garden.

Flask Walk is a street in Hampstead in the London Borough of Camden. It runs eastwards from Hampstead High Street to a junction with Well Walk and New End Square. It is primarily residential but the western end of the street is a pedestrianised alley featuring commercial properties. Hampstead tube station is located close to the junction with the High Street. It takes its name indirectly from the flasks made for the mineral water produced at the nearby Hampstead Wells. The Flask public house is located near the western end of the street and was built in 1767, although the current building is Victorian. An earlier Upper Flask Tavern was a meeting place of the Kit Kat Club of the early eighteenth century, located in nearby Heath Street.A number of buildings in the street are now Grade II listed, many dating from the Regency era of the nineteenth century or earlier. The street also features the former Wells and Campden Baths, built in 1888 and closed in 1978. The 1736 Gardnor House is on the southern side of the street. A planned station of the Metropolitan Railway was due to be located at the eastern end of the street, but although authorised in the 1860s it was never constructed.

The Flask is a Grade II listed public house at 14 Flask Walk, Hampstead, London, on the site from where the trade in Hampstead mineral water was run, and which is mentioned in the eighteenth century novel Clarissa. It has been owned by Young's Brewery since 1904.

Mount Vernon House (originally Windmill Hill House) is a house in Hampstead in the London Borough of Camden. It has been listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England (NHLE) since May 1974. The garden wall is separately listed at Grade II. The house was built around 1726 and was altered in the early 19th century. It is rendered in stucco with a mansard roof. The house occupies the site of a windmill. It was constructed between 1725 and 1728 by a local Hampstead timbersmith, William Knight.The surgeon William Peirce lived at the house in the 1770s. General Charles Vernon leased the house from 1781 to 1800. The landscape painter Edmund John Niemann lived at Mount Vernon house in the 1850s. It was the residence of a Captain J.T. Campbell in the 1860s.Mount Vernon House was the residence of the Hospital Secretary of Mount Vernon Hospital from 1903 and subsequently served as the hospital's Nurses' Home.The tenure of the physician Henry Dale at the house is marked by a Greater London Council blue plaque erected in 1981 on the garden wall of the house. Dale and his wife, Elen, lived at the house from 1919 to 1942 and entertained many fellow scientists and researchers at the house including Charles Best and his wife Margaret. Margaret Best attended a dinner at the house during the war with other partners of scientists including Margaret, the wife of A.V. Hill, and Gertrude, the wife of William Bayliss.In his Companion Guide to Outer London Simon Jenkins wrote that Mount Vernon House shares "with most of Hampstead's better mansions the characteristic of hiding behind both a high wall and a thick coating of ivy". The London: North edition of the Pevsner Architectural Guides also describes the house as "well hidden".The house was restored and once again became a private house with the residential conversion of the Mount Vernon Hospital site by property developers Marylebone Warwick Balfour and Sincere.

New End Square is a square in Hampstead, located in the London Borough of Camden. It dates back to the early eighteenth century when it was located close to the Hampstead Wells spa on the adjacent Well Walk. Despite its name it is not rectangular. At its northern end is the Old White Bear pub dating back to 1704, on the corner with Well Road. Its southern end is at the junction between Flask Walk and Well Walk. New End street curls off from one corner of the square, eventually heading west to Heath Street. It is known as New End to distinguish it from older parts of Hampstead village. The largest building is Burgh House, now housing the Hampstead Museum, which dates back to 1704. A number of other buildings, dating back to the eighteenth and early nineteenth century, are now Grade II listed.New End street was developed at the same time as the square, and was once home to the New End Hospital and the later New End Theatre.
