Marden is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters. The suburb is bordered by the River Torrens to the north, O.G. Rd to the east, Payneham Rd to the south and Battams Rd to the west.

Evandale is a small suburb of Adelaide in the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters. It is bounded on the northwest by Payneham Road and on the east by Portrush Road, with smaller streets bounding the north and south.

The Adelaide Australia Temple is the 89th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).

Payneham is an eastern suburb of Adelaide in the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters. It is part of a string of suburbs in Adelaide's east with a high proportion of Adelaide's Italian-Australian and French-Australian residents, many of whom can be traced back to the large-scale migration following the Second World War. Payneham's northern boundary is Payneham Road, and Portrush Road passes south–north through the middle of the suburb.

Marden Sports Complex is a multi-use stadium in Marden, South Australia. It is mainly used for soccer and is the home ground for National Premier League side Adelaide Blue Eagles. It was also used for the 2004 OFC Nations Cup and the 2006 AFC Women's Asian Cup. The stadium was built in 2000 and has a capacity of 6,000 people.It was co-host to the group stage of the 2004 OFC Nations Cup alongside Hindmarsh Stadium, with Marden hosting five games including one Socceroos match, a 6–1 win over Fiji featuring a Tim Cahill hattrick. Two years later the stadium hosted one match of the 2006 AFC Women's Asian Cup, a 5–0 win by the Matildas against Thailand. It has been used by other Adelaide-based teams for FFA Cup matches, including Adelaide City's famous 1–0 win over A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers. A-League outfit Adelaide United has also hosted FFA Cup matches at the venue including their Round of 32 victory against Wellington Phoenix in 2014, victories against the Newcastle Jets and Melbourne Victory in 2017 and a victory against the Central Coast Mariners in 2018.Adelaide United's W-League side also plays its home games at the ground.

The City of Payneham, formerly the District Council of Stepney, was a local government area in South Australia from 1867 to 1997.

Joslin is a suburb of Adelaide in the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters. It is rectangular, stretching from Payneham Road (southeast) to the River Torrens and Torrens Linear Park (northwest), but from Lambert Road on the northeast only about 350m along the numbered avenues towards the next cross street which is in St Peters. The O-Bahn Busway crosses the western corner of the suburb, but there is not a station nearby.

Payneham Cemetery, located on Marian Road, Payneham South, South Australia was established by the Argent Street Primitive Methodist church with the first burial occurring in 1864.

Dunstan is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly, covering the inner eastern suburbs of Beulah Park, College Park, Evandale, Firle, Hackney, Joslin, Kensington, Kensington Park, Kensington Gardens, Marden, Maylands, Norwood, Payneham, Payneham South, Royston Park, St Morris, St Peters, Stepney, and Trinity Gardens. The electorate was created in the 2012 redistribution of electoral boundaries. It was essentially a reconfigured version of Norwood, with the electoral boundaries remaining unchanged. It is named after the 35th Premier of South Australia, Don Dunstan, who represented Norwood for Labor from 1953 to 1979. The 2010 election was the first time that Labor was in government without holding Norwood. Following the 2016 redistribution, the cityside suburbs of Rose Park and Dulwich, previously in Bragg, were added to Dunstan. Liberal MP Steven Marshall, the last member for Norwood, successfully transferred to Dunstan at the 2014 state election while serving as Leader of the Opposition. He was reelected with a healthy swing in 2018, becoming Premier. Ahead of the 2022 state election, Dunstan was pushed further east, picking up the Kensington towns while losing Felixtow, Glynde, Rose Park and Dulwich. This boosted the Liberal margin to a notional 7.1 percent, making Dunstan a fairly safe Liberal seat on paper. At that election, the Liberals were heavily defeated after only one term. Marshall himself was nearly defeated, suffering a swing of almost seven percent. As a result, Dunstan is now the most marginal seat in the legislature, with Marshall sitting on a majority of 0.5 percent.

Maylands is a suburb of Adelaide located within the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters, and bounded by the main roads Portrush Road and Magill Road.

St Peters is an inner-eastern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters. The area was first settled in 1838, with allotments sold to investors in the South Australia Company. It was originally a separate town and was named after the Church of England's school of St Peter. The nearby school, now commonly known as St Peter's College, was relocated to its current site in 1854 on 75 acres (30 ha) of land in what is now known as Hackney.St Peters Post Office opened on 1 November 1886.It was formerly the seat of its own municipality, the Corporate Town of St Peters, but since 1997 has been part of the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters. The historic St Peters Town Hall and attached 1911 banquet hall are listed on the South Australian Heritage Register.The East Adelaide Primitive Methodist Church was established in 1883. It became East Adelaide Methodist church in 1901, and Spicer Memorial Church in 1906 following the death of its benefactor, pastoralist Sir Edward Spicer. It is now known as Spicer Uniting Church at St Peters. The cottages across the road were funded by the Spicer Cottages Trust to provide low rent accommodation for retired Methodist ministers.

The Adelaide Festival of Arts, also known as the Adelaide Festival, an arts festival, takes place in the South Australian capital of Adelaide in March each year. Started in 1960, it is a major celebration of the arts and a signficant cultural event in Australia. The festival is based chiefly in the city centre and its parklands, with some venues in the inner suburbs (such as the Odeon Theatre, Norwood) or occasionally further afield. The Adelaide Festival Centre and River Torrens usually form the nucleus of the event, and in the 21st century Elder Park has played host to opening ceremonies. It comprises many events, usually including opera, theatre, dance, classical and contemporary music, cabaret, literature, visual art and new media. The four-day world-music event, WOMADelaide, and the literary festival, Adelaide Writers' Week, form part of the Festival. The festival originally operated biennially, along with the (initially unofficial) Adelaide Fringe; the Fringe has taken place annually since 2007, with the Festival of Arts going annual a few years later, in 2012. With all of these events, plus the extra visitors, activities and music concerts brought by the street-circuit motor-racing event known as the Adelaide 500, locals often refer to the time of year as "Mad March". The festival attracts interstate and overseas visitors, and generated an estimated gross expenditure of A$76.1 million for South Australia in 2018.
