RKO Keith's Theater (Richmond Hill, Queens)

Richmond Hill is a closed station on the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road in the Richmond Hill neighborhood of Queens in New York City. The station is located at Myrtle Avenue and cuts diagonally from the intersection of Jamaica Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard through to Hillside Avenue. The station has two tracks and an island platform. Richmond Hill was the only station on the Lower Montauk Branch that was elevated with a high-level platform for passengers to wait for trains; the others were at ground level, with low-level platforms. Richmond Hill station was originally built by the South Side Railroad of Long Island in 1869 as Clarenceville station. After New York City and the Long Island Rail Road began negotiating the elimination of numerous at-grade crossings within Queens in the 1910s, the current station was opened on a viaduct in 1923. The station was closed on March 16, 1998, along with nine others due to low ridership and the potential cost of upgrading the stations to modern standards; at the time of its closure, the station had one passenger per day.

The Church of the Resurrection is a historic Episcopal church and rectory in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York City. It was originally built in 1874 as a frame, Gothic Revival style church. It was extensively remodeled and enlarged in 1904 in the Late Gothic / Tudor Revival style. It has an exterior of random quarry-faced stone and a prominent bell tower with spire. The church includes the Riis family memorial window, donated in 1905 by Elizabeth Riis, wife of Jacob Riis. The adjacent Cummings Hall was built in 1923. The rectory was built in 1888 and is a 2+1⁄2-story, frame dwelling with a hipped roof and gable dormers in the Queen Anne style.The church is also notable for its association with Jacob Riis, a social reformer and pioneering photojournalist who was a Richmond Hill resident from 1885 to 1912 and a church member from 1900 to 1912. Theodore Roosevelt, a close friend and associate of Riis, visited the church to attend the marriage of Riis's daughter Clara to Dr. William Fiske on June 1, 1900. Roosevelt was Governor of New York at the time.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The 121st Street station is a skip-stop station on the elevated BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 121st Street and Jamaica Avenue in Richmond Hill and Kew Gardens, Queens, it is served by the Z train during rush hours in the peak direction and the J train at all other times.

Yeshiva Shaar HaTorah-Grodno is an Orthodox yeshiva and high school in Kew Gardens, Queens, New York. It was founded in 1974 by Rabbi Kalman Epstein and Rabbi Sholom Spitz. It has programs for high school boys, as well as undergraduate and graduate programs that result in Talmudic law degrees.

Ralph Johnson Bunche House, the last home of American diplomat Ralph Bunche (1903-1971), is a National Historic Landmark in New York City. It is a single-family home built in 1927 in the neo-Tudor style, and is located at 115-24 Grosvenor Road, Kew Gardens, Queens. It is named after Ralph Bunche, who helped to found the United Nations in 1945. In 1950 he became the first African American and first person of color to win the Nobel Peace Prize, for mediating armistice agreements between Israel and its neighboring countries.

The Kew Gardens train crash (also known as the Richmond Hill disaster) was a collision between two trains on the Long Island Rail Road's Main Line, which occurred during the evening rush hour of November 22, 1950. The trains collided between Kew Gardens and Jamaica stations in Kew Gardens, Queens, New York City, killing 78 people and injuring 363. The crash is the worst railway accident in LIRR history, and one of the worst in the history of New York State.

The Clarenceville station was on the Atlantic Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, located on Atlantic Avenue west of 111th Street in the Richmond Hill section of Queens, New York City. Richmond Hill station to the north, at Jamaica Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard, was also originally named Clarenceville Station when it opened in 1868, but that name was changed in 1871. Clarenceville was originally an 1874-built Atlantic Avenue Rapid Transit station that was reopened as an LIRR station in 1905 as part of the LIRR's electrification of the Atlantic Branch, and closed in 1939, when the branch was moved underground, along with Warwick Street, Autumn Avenue, Union Course, Woodhaven, Morris Park, and Dunton stations.
