Richmond Hill High School is a four-year public high school in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York City, part of the New York City Department of Education.

The 111th Street station is a skip-stop station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 111th Street and Jamaica Avenue in Richmond Hill, Queens, it is served at all times by the J train. The Z train skips this station when it operates.

The High School for Construction Trades Engineering and Architecture (HS for CTEA) is a New York City Department of Education Career and Technical Education (CTE) school. This school was established in 2006 by the New York State Department of Education. It was intended to support its students to the fields of architecture, engineering or construction trades. In the 2009–2010 school year this high school had its first graduating class. This school is separated into three different majors architecture, engineering and construction trades. Each of them having a four-year course of study.

Richmond Hill is a commercial and residential neighborhood located in the southwestern section of the New York City borough of Queens. The area borders Kew Gardens and Forest Park to the north, Jamaica and South Jamaica to the east, South Ozone Park to the south, and Woodhaven and Ozone Park to the west. The neighborhood is split between Queens Community Board 9 and 10.Richmond Hill is known as Little Guyana for its large Indo-Caribbean American (especially Indo-Guyanese and Indo-Trinidadian) population. It’s also called Little Punjab due to its large Punjabi American population. Main commercial streets in the neighborhood include Jamaica Avenue, Atlantic Avenue and Liberty Avenue. The portion of the neighborhood south of Atlantic Avenue is also known as South Richmond Hill. The Long Island Rail Road provides freight access via the Montauk Branch, which runs diagonally through the neighborhood from northwest to southeast. Many residents own homes, though some also rent within small apartment buildings. Richmond Hill is located in Queens Community District 9 and its ZIP Codes are 11418 and 11419. It is patrolled by the New York City Police Department's 102nd Precinct. Politically, Richmond Hill is represented by the New York City Council's 28th, 30th, and 32nd Districts.

The 104th Street station is a skip-stop station on the BMT Jamaica Line of the New York City Subway, located on Jamaica Avenue between 102nd and 104th Streets in Richmond Hill, Queens. It is served by the Z train during rush hours in the peak direction, and the J at all other times.

RKO Keith's Theater is a historic RKO Pictures movie theater located at 117-09 Hillside Avenue in the Richmond Hill section of the New York City borough of Queens. It was designed by architect R. Thomas Short and built in 1929 in the Neo-Classical Revival style. It has a two-story, three bay wide front facade with its original, horizontal marquee and terra cotta details. The orchestra level measures 100 feet, 6 inches deep and 99 feet wide. It has a balcony and three tiered boxes of seating on the north and south walls.The theater closed in 1968 and it has been used as a bingo hall and flea market. In 2003, the theater was listed on New York's State Register of Historic Places, but the property owner refused listing on the National Register of Historic Places.

Richmond Hill is a closed station on the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road in the Richmond Hill neighborhood of Queens in New York City. The station is located at Myrtle Avenue and cuts diagonally from the intersection of Jamaica Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard through to Hillside Avenue. The station has two tracks and an island platform. Richmond Hill was the only station on the Lower Montauk Branch that was elevated with a high-level platform for passengers to wait for trains; the others were at ground level, with low-level platforms. Richmond Hill station was originally built by the South Side Railroad of Long Island in 1869 as Clarenceville station. After New York City and the Long Island Rail Road began negotiating the elimination of numerous at-grade crossings within Queens in the 1910s, the current station was opened on a viaduct in 1923. The station was closed on March 16, 1998, along with nine others due to low ridership and the potential cost of upgrading the stations to modern standards; at the time of its closure, the station had one passenger per day.

The Spear Building is an 85,000-square-foot, four-story building that was a hat factory and wax novelty manufacturer in its 1920s heyday. In 2017 it was designated to the National Register of Historic Places as an example of an intact early 20th-century reinforced concrete factory complex. It is located at 94-15 100th Street, between 94th and 95th Avenues one block from Atlantic Ave in the Woodhaven neighborhood of Queens, New York City, and is best known as the location of the Worksman Cycles Factory, a manufacturer of iconic pushcarts, tricycles and heavy duty bicycles. The building was listed on the New York State Register of Historic Places in 2017.

Woodhaven Junction was a station complex on the Atlantic Branch and Rockaway Beach Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, located at Atlantic Avenue between 98th and 100th Streets in Woodhaven, Queens, New York City. The elevated Rockaway Beach station was closed in 1962 along with the rest of the branch, while the underground Atlantic Branch station was closed and abandoned on January 7, 1977.
