Billie Castle is a ruined 15th-century quadrangular castle, 3 miles (4.8 km) north west of Chirnside, Scottish Borders, Scotland, north of Billiemains. It was designated as a scheduled monument in 1988.

Chirnside railway station served the village of Chirnside, Scottish Borders, Scotland from 1863 to 1965 on the Berwickshire Railway.

Chirnsidebridge is a village near Chirnside in the Scottish Borders area of Scotland, at a bridge over the Whiteadder Water on its journey towards the River Tweed. The bridge is a three-span rubble bridge with the two main spans segmental-arched. As the place name varies between Chirnsidebridge and Chirnside Bridge, the paper mill has alternative names: Chirnside Paper Mill and Broomhouse Paper Mill.

Reston is a railway station in the small village of Reston that serves the wider rural parish of Coldingham and the nearby town of Eyemouth in the eastern Scottish Borders council area. The station is a minor stop on the East Coast Main Line and opened on 23 May 2022 after a £20 million investment. The station is owned by Network Rail and managed by ScotRail, although the latter company does not provide any services to or from the station. It is the second railway station to have been located in the village, having replaced an earlier station that closed in 1964.

Chirnside United Football Club, previously known as Chirnside F.C., is a Scottish amateur football club based in the village of Chirnside in the Scottish Borders. They play in the 'A league' of the Border Amateur Football League, which is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association. Their home ground is Comrades Park. Formed in 1890, they were formerly a senior club playing in the East of Scotland Football League and have appeared in the Scottish Cup.

Blanerne Castle is the remains of a 16th-century fortified house, located in the grounds of Blanerne House, an 18th-century country house between Chirnside and Preston in the Scottish Borders. The house and castle sit on the north bank of the Whiteadder Water, around 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) north-east of Duns. The castle was the historical seat of the Lumsdaine family for over four centuries. The surviving remains are dated to the 16th century, although the site may have been occupied as far back as the 12th century. The remains include a keep or kitchen block, with a detached guard house to the west. The castle is protected as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Chirnside Parish Church is a kirk of the Church of Scotland. It is situated on the B6355 road between Duns and Eyemouth in the old county of Berwickshire, now part of the Scottish Borders, at grid reference NT869560. The town of Chirnside is 6 miles (9.7 km) east of Duns, and 9 miles (14 km) north-west of Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Press Castle is a village with 17th-century manor house and country estate in the Scottish Borders, 2m (3 km) west of Coldingham, by the Ale Water. NT871654. The area is renowned for its colonies of red squirrels.
