Rural Municipality of East St. Paul

Birds Hill is an unincorporated community in the Canadian province of Manitoba located a few kilometers northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba, in the Rural Municipality of East St. Paul. The community is a few kilometers east of the Red River The R.M. of East St. Paul's Administration and Finance Departments, Fire Department, municipal council chambers, and RCMP offices are located in Birds Hill. The community includes Silverfox Estates and the Country Villas, which is Manitoba's first resort age-restricted adult-only gated community. Built in 1998, this residential area is an exclusively low-density community where 163 detached, single-family homes are on private landscaped sites.

Duff Roblin Provincial Park was designated a provincial park by the Government of Manitoba in 2008. The park is .57 square kilometres (0.22 sq mi) in size. The park is considered to be a Class V protected area under the IUCN protected area management categories.

St. Paul is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was created by electoral redistribution in 2008 mostly out of the old Springfield riding. Communities in the riding include the Rural Municipality of East St. Paul, West St. Paul, Oakbank, and Dugald. The 2006 census population was 19,995.

River East is a provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was officially created by redistribution in 1979, and has formally existed since the provincial election of 1981. The riding is located on the northeast corner of the City of Winnipeg. It is bordered by the Red River to the west, the city limit, by Springfield to the north and east, and by the riding of Rossmere to the south. It was replaced for the 2019 election by the new Kildonan-River East district. River East is an affluent district with an average income of $62,534 and an unemployment rate of 5.60% in 1999. It also has a large immigrant population, at 17% of the total population. Twelve per cent of River East's residents list German as their ethnic origin, while a further 9% list Ukrainian. The riding's total population in 1996 was 19,840.

Transcona Collegiate Institute (TCI) is a secondary education institution located in the Transcona suburb of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Transcona Collegiate teaches grades nine through twelve, with approximately 670 students and 60 staff members. Transcona Collegiate was opened in 1969, and in the following year an additional six classrooms were added. During the 1999–2000 school year a 16,000 sq ft (1,500 m2) addition was added to the school, extending out to the west and north.

Radisson School, originally Radisson Elementary School, is a school that is part of River East Transcona School Division in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was built in 1957 and was originally an eight-room building. Radisson was named for famed fur trader Pierre-Esprit Radisson, the unanimous choice of the students. Margaret Underhill was the first principal of the school and first female principal in the division.

River East Collegiate is a public high school located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, that belongs to the River East Transcona School Division. River East has a school population of approximately 1,250 students. The school colours are blue and white and the school mascot is the Kodiak bear (Kody).

The park is .05 square kilometres (0.019 sq mi) in size, and is considered to be a Class V protected area under the IUCN protected area management categories. The park includes the Captain William Kennedy House, Miss Davis' School/Twin Oaks and the Scott House.
