Kenwood Estates is a census-designated place (CDP) in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. Its population was 1,435 as of the 2020 census. Kenwood Estates is located between Greenacres and Palm Springs; State Road 809 (Military Trail) passes through the community. More specifically, the CDP is defined from Attleboro Avenue westward to Haverhill Road, while the community's southern boundary is the L-11 Canal and the northern extent is generally along the southside of 10th Avenue North.As early as 1925, the Alfred H. Wagg Organization, inc. began advertising the Kenwood development along "the beautiful Pine Ridge of Military Trail" and noting that the area would eventually include a shopping center, apartment complexes, duplexes, and a number of single family homes.Kenwood Estates has been a priority focus area of the Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) since the early 2000s. CCRT, established by Board of County Commissioners in 1997, studies and coordinates efforts to improve certain communities in Palm Beach County. Between August 2003 and January 2010, the board approved more than $2.7 million in expenditures to improve Kenwood Estates. Projects undertaken included the addition of a neighborhood park, sidewalks, speed bumps, and streetlights, as well as improvements to drainage and pavement. A community policing deputy was also assigned to the community to restore a sense of security.

Acacia Villas is a census-designated place in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. Its population was 398 as of the 2020 census. Acacia Villas is located on the east side of State Road 809; it borders Palm Springs on its north, east, and south sides.

Lakewood Gardens was a census-designated place in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. Its population was 1,273 as of the 2010 census. In 2011, the area was annexed by the village of Palm Springs.

Lake Worth Corridor was an unincorporated census-designated place in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) west of the city of Lake Worth Beach. The population was 18,663 at the 2000 census. The CDP was not included in the 2010 census.

Greenacres is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. It is part of South Florida's Miami metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 43,990 residents. Frederick E. Bryant, Harold J. Bryant, and William Greenwood of the Palm Beach Farms Company began buying and selling thousands of acres of land in the area by 1909. However, difficulties with farming in wetland conditions left the land mostly unused until the 1920s land boom. Lawrence Carter "L. C." Swain then platted the original section of Greenacres beginning in 1923. The community was incorporated as Greenacres City on May 24, 1926, with the name being drawn out of a hat. The city was dis-incorporated under controversial circumstances in 1945, before being officially re-incorporated in 1947. The city's population remained small until rapid growth began in the 1970s. Residents voted to rename the community Greenacres in 1990. Today, Greenacres is a diverse and relatively large community in terms of population. John I. Leonard High School, the largest high school in Palm Beach County and one of the largest in Florida, has been located in Greenacres since the city annexed the property in 1994.

Palm Springs is a village in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States, situated approximately 61 mi (98 km) north of Miami. The village's name was likely derived from the resort city of Palm Springs, California. Located in the east-central part of the county, Palm Springs is situated north of Atlantis, east of Greenacres, west of Lake Clarke Shores and Lake Worth Beach, and southwest of West Palm Beach. The 2010 United States census recorded the village's population at 18,928, which increased to 26,890 in the 2020 census. Palm Springs is also located within the Miami metropolitan area, which had a population of approximately 6,138,333 people as of 2020.William A. Boutwell operated a dairy farm on 5 acres (2.0 ha) of land in modern-day Palm Springs beginning in 1927, which expanded to about 700 acres (280 ha) prior to his retirement in 1956. One year later, the Florida Legislature approved a charter establishing the village of Palm Springs as Palm Beach County's 30th municipality on May 31, 1957. At the time of incorporation, the village consisted only of farmland, a dairy barn, and no permanent residents. Within two years, around 800 homes had been built, and four schools were constructed in or near Palm Springs between 1959 and 1970. The first village hall was erected in 1960. Palm Springs has been expanding through annexation since 1998, more than doubling the village's land area and population within a few decades. Also around that time, the village government began planning for a new municipal complex, which opened in the mid-2000s. By 2010, Palm Springs became the first municipality in Palm Beach County in which a majority of its residents are of Hispanic or Latino ancestry. The village is also the home of the Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center, the headquarters of the School District of Palm Beach County.

Pine Air is a census-designated place in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. Its population was 2,190 as of the 2020 census. Pine Air is bordered by State Road 809 to the west and the village of Palm Springs to the south.

WFTL (850 AM) is a news/talk radio station licensed to West Palm Beach, Florida with studios located in West Palm Beach. The station operates with 50,000 watts daytime power and 20,000 watts nighttime power, providing coverage of Palm Beach, Broward, and part of Miami-Dade Counties. The station is currently owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, through licensee WPP FCC License Sub, LLC. The station is the South Florida home of Florida State Seminoles football. 850 AM is a United States clear-channel frequency.

The Palm Beach County Library System is the public library system of Palm Beach County, Florida. Its headquarters, the Main Library, is located in an unincorporated area near West Palm Beach, the county seat. The system was established in 1967 and serves Palm Beach County through the Main Library and 17 branch libraries. Its first library branch opened in Tequesta on September 25, 1969, and its first bookmobile five days later. Unlike neighboring Broward and Miami-Dade counties, where most municipalities have joined their county's library system, most municipalities in Palm Beach County continue to operate their own city libraries, leading the county system to focus on the more suburban communities. Instead, a cooperative system model is in place to allow interoperation between county and municipal libraries.

John Prince Memorial Park is a park located in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. The park covers 726.36 acres (338 of which are acres of Lake Osborne) and is managed by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. Most of the park is on the western and northern shore of Lake Osborne. Some of the facilities at the park include: a new five section dog park called Lake Woof, pavilions, park ground structures, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, boat/canoe/kayak launch, outdoor fitness center, and a campground. The park is located adjacent to the Lantana Airport. The park is named after former county commissioner John Prince who served for 18 years. Mr. Prince got developers and the state to donate more than 1,000 acres (4.0 km2) of land in the 1930s and 1940s which became the park, Palm Beach State College's Lake Worth campus and the Lantana Airport. John Prince Park is believed to be the second oldest county park in Florida.

The Eternal Gospel Church is an independent religious group. Originally a breakaway from the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1992, it was previously known as the Eternal Gospel Seventh-day Adventist Church. The group may be best known for its controversial advertising on billboards and newspapers, such as a two-page spread in USA TODAY entitled "Earth's Final Warning" in 1999. A subsequent federal trademark lawsuit between the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and Pastor Rafael Perez on behalf of the Eternal Gospel group resulted in a settlement not to use the term "Seventh-day Adventist" in the group's title, resulting in their current name. As of 2020 the group’s website claims three associated churches, and continues to feature the religiously provocative billboard and newspaper messages it has sponsored.[1]
