Berlin was a nightclub located at 954 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago's Lake View neighborhood. Originally advertised as "the Neighborhood Bar of the Future", Berlin was frequented by a variety of demographics, but was primarily an LGBTQ nightclub. Berlin is considered culturally and historically significant by Chicago's LGBTQ community.

The Vic Theatre is a music venue located in Chicago, Illinois. Vic Theatre can easily accommodate 1,400 people or with a seated capacity of 1,000.

Belmont is an 'L' station serving the CTA's Red and Brown Line, and the Purple Line Express during weekday rush hours. It is located at 945 West Belmont Avenue in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It is an elevated station with two island platforms serving four tracks; Brown and Purple Line trains share the outer tracks while Red Line trains run on the inner tracks. Along with residential areas, the neighborhood surrounding Belmont contains many eclectic shops, bars, and restaurants and active nightlife. The station is one of the more heavily utilized on the system serving as a busy transfer point, and also as a terminal when the Brown Line operates as a shuttle service to and from Kimball late at night and early in the morning. It is nearly identical to Fullerton, minus the terminal status.

The Annoyance Theatre, or Annoyance Productions, is a theatre and associated ensemble based in Chicago, Illinois, that deals mainly in absurd and outrageous humor. Many people who have performed with the ensemble have gone on to become successful stage and screen actors. Popular productions have included Co-Ed Prison Sluts and That Darned Antichrist. Annoyance Productions currently runs classes in improvisation, writing, musical improvisation, acting, and solo work.

Lakeview, also spelled Lake View, is one of the 77 community areas of Chicago, Illinois, in the city's North Side. It is bordered by West Diversey Parkway on the south, West Irving Park Road on the north, North Ravenswood Avenue on the west, and the shore of Lake Michigan on the east. The Uptown community area is to Lakeview's north, Lincoln Square to its northwest, North Center to its west, and Lincoln Park to its south. The 2020 population of Lakeview was 103,050 residents, making it the second largest of the Chicago community areas by population.Lakeview includes smaller neighborhood enclaves: Sheridan Station Corridor, Northhalsted, Southport Corridor, Wrigleyville, and Wrigley Plaza. Boystown, famous for its large LGBT population, holds the pride parade each June. Wrigleyville is another popular district. It surrounds Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs. Lakeview is home to the Belmont Theater District showcasing over 30 theaters and live performance venues located near the Belmont "L" station. In 2013, Money Magazine named Lakeview as number 3 of its top 10 Big-city neighborhoods for its selection of Best Places to Live.

Clark was a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's Howard Line, which is now part of the Red Line. The station was located at the corner of Clark and Roscoe Streets in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, at what is now the junction between the Red and Brown lines. Clark was situated north of Belmont and south of Addison. Clark opened on June 6, 1900, and closed on August 1, 1949, along with 23 other stations as part of a CTA service revision.

Wellington is a Chicago 'L' station on the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Brown Line; Purple Line express trains also stop at the station during weekday rush hours. It is an elevated station with four tracks and two side platforms, located at 945 West Wellington Avenue in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Red Line trains pass through the station on the middle tracks, but do not stop. The station closed for renovations from March 30, 2008, until July 30, 2009.

The Lake View State Bank Building was a bank building at 3179 N. Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois. It was designed by Ivar Viehe-Naess and was built at a cost of $125,000 in 1920. It replaced Lake View State Bank's previous building which was a half-block south and was built five years earlier. The building was demolished in August 2021. The bank became insolvent during the Great Depression, and was closed by the State Auditor on September 22, 1930. On July 1, 1946, the Belmont National Bank opened in the building. The building also housed medical offices in the mid-20th century. In 1968, the Belmont National Bank doubled the floor space it occupied in the building, and opened a drive-thru banking service. In 1987, Water Tower Trust and Savings Bank purchased Belmont National Bank, and in 1993 it was sold to River Forest Bancorp. The building last housed a Fifth Third Bank branch and the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois. The Hubbard Street Group demolished the building in favor of new construction, but did not disclose who planned to occupy the new building in advance.A demolition permit was issued August 4, 2021, and demolition began August 13. Because the bank was FDIC insured, the application for a demolition permit should have triggered a review to determine whether the bank was a historic building, according to Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. However, no review took place.

The Vautravers Building is a historic apartment building at 947 W Newport in the Lake View neighborhood of Chicago. It was relocated in 2021 to preserve it as part of the reconstruction of the CTA Red Line elevated rail structure.Constructed in 1894, the building's original owners refused to sell when the Northwestern Elevated Railroad was constructed, forcing the track to be curved to avoid the building. It was moved approximately 30 feet to allow the rail line to be straightened so trains could operate at a faster speed.Fourteen other buildings in the area were demolished as part of the rail improvements, with the Vautravers Building the only structure to be preserved by relocation.

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is a 408-bed non-profit teaching hospital located in Chicago. Founded in 1897, the hospital operates a Level I trauma center and Level III Perinatal Center. Its license number is 0005165. The hospital is a part of Advocate Aurora Health. Each year, the hospital provides services for 18,000 inpatients, more than 152,000 outpatients and 41,000 emergency patients. Approximately 300 physicians are trained each year through its affiliations with the University of Illinois College of Medicine, the Chicago Medical School and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.”

Under the Gun Theater is a theater company located in Chicago, Illinois. Founded by Angie McMahon and Kevin Mullaney, Under the Gun is a sketch and improvisational comedy theater which opened in Chicago's Lake View community in 2014. The theater was known for its interactive show Comedy Against Humanity, which ended due to legal concerns, based on the game Cards Against Humanity. In September 2017 Under the Gun Theater announced it would partner with the Chicago stand-up comedy institution Lincoln Lodge to focus on producing stand-up comedy shows.

The Mandel Brothers Warehouse Building is a historic warehouse at 3254 N. Halsted Street in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The Mandel Brothers Department Store, one of the oldest department store companies in Chicago at the time, built the warehouse in 1903 to support its delivery service. Prominent Chicago architecture firm Holabird & Roche, who also designed both stores and warehouses for many of Chicago's other department store companies, designed the warehouse. The firm used a Renaissance Revival design for the warehouse, an uncommon choice that stood out from Chicago's many utilitarian warehouses. Their design features a brick exterior with quoins, an arched entrance and windows, and a parapet with decorative brickwork.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 19, 1993.
