St. Sebastian Church (New York City)

East Midtown Plaza is a housing cooperative development in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, United States. Developed as part of the Mitchell–Lama Housing Program, the six-building complex occupies an area of nearly two city blocks, bounded by First and Second avenues and East 23rd and 25th streets, and contains a total of 746 units spread across a mix of high-rise and low-rise apartment buildings. The development was constructed in two phases from 1968 through 1974, with the first stage opening in 1972. Since the turn of the century, residents have debated privatizing the housing complex by exiting the Mitchell-Lama program.

The 23rd Street station was a station on the demolished IRT Second Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It had two levels. The lower level had two tracks and two side platforms and served local trains. The upper level had one track for express trains. The next stop to the north was 34th Street. The next stop to the south was 19th Street. The station closed on June 13, 1942.

The New York University College of Dentistry is the dentistry school of New York University. As the 3rd oldest dentistry school in the United States, it offers both graduate programs and clinical training in oral healthcare.

400 First Avenue is an eight-story building located at the northeast corner of First Avenue and East 23rd Street in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City, United States. Designed by the architectural firm of Voorhees, Gmelin and Walker, the building opened in 1931 as the new home of the Institute for the Crippled and Disabled through a gift from Jeremiah Milbank. 400 First Avenue was sold to the City of New York in 1973 to serve as an expansion for Junior High School 47. As of 2025, the building is still owned by the city and accommodates a public school and administrative offices for a school district.

47 The American Sign Language and English Secondary School, is a public high school for the deaf in Kips Bay, Manhattan, New York City. Operated by the New York City Department of Education, it was previously known as "47" The American Sign Language and English Dual Language High School, Junior High School 47M, School for the Deaf, or Junior High School 47 (J.H.S. 47).As of 2021 it only serves high school students. Elementary and middle school grades are covered by the separate PS 347 The 47 American Sign Language & English Lower School. The two schools share a building.In the 1940s it was the only public school catering specifically to the deaf in New York City. This remained true in 1998.

Holographic Studios, located in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, is the world's oldest gallery of holography. It was founded in 1979 by Jason Sapan, one of the pioneers of holography. The storefront level gallery features the world's largest collection of motion image integral holograms. On display in the gallery are a variety of different types of holographic images, including a collection of celebrity hologram portraits. There are also cylindrical 360° floating images, multiple image holograms that change as you walk by, and computer generated holograms as well as a selection of novelty hologram items and stickers. Directly below the gallery is the laser laboratory where holograms are created. Holographic Studios creates custom holograms, holographic portraits, offers classes, and operates tours.

223 East 25th Street is a residential building located between Second and Third avenues in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. Designed by the architecture firm of Napoleon LeBrun & Sons, the building was completed in 1883 as a fire house for Engine Company 16 of the New York City Fire Department. The fire house was decommissioned in the late 1960s and the building was later sold by the city at an auction to the Ninth Church of Christ, Scientist. After being used as a church, the property was purchased by a developer in 2018 and converted into a multi-family residential building, obtaining Passive House certification.

Bellevue South Park is a 1.59-acre (0.64 ha) public park in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. Located on the west side of Mount Carmel Place between East 26th and 28th streets, the park was originally planned as part of the Bellevue South Urban Renewal Area approved by New York City in 1964. The park did not open until 1979 due to a lack of municipal funding during the city's fiscal crisis and local community groups were originally responsible for the park's upkeep before maintenance was transferred over to the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation in 1986.

The Church of the Epiphany is a parish church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at 373 Second Avenue at the corner of East 22nd Street, in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It operates a co-educational PreK–8 Catholic school and Religious Education program.

Kips Bay Court is a housing complex located on the east side of Second Avenue between East 26th and 29th streets in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. Originally called Henry Phipps Plaza West, the eight-building complex contains a total of 894 apartments and was one of four housing developments sponsored by Phipps Houses in the Bellevue South Urban Renewal Project. Formerly a Mitchell–Lama Housing Program-funded rental project, Phipps Plaza West exited the Mitchell-Lama program in 2003 and was renamed Kips Bay Court. The complex was purchased by the Blackstone Group in 2016.

Carmel Place is a nine-story apartment building at 335 East 27th Street in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. Completed in 2016, it was New York City's first microapartment building. The project was the winner of a competition sponsored by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development to design, construct and operate a "micro-unit" apartment building on a city-owned site and pilot the use of compact apartments to accommodate smaller households.

The Straus Houses is a NYCHA housing complex with two buildings; Building I has 20 stories and Building II has 19 stories. It is located between East 27th and 28th Streets and also between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. The housing complex was named after Nathan Straus.
