The Church of the Epiphany is a parish church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at 373 Second Avenue at the corner of East 22nd Street, in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It operates a co-educational PreK–8 Catholic school and Religious Education program.

The 23rd Street station was a station on the demolished IRT Second Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It had two levels. The lower level had two tracks and two side platforms and served local trains. The upper level had one track for express trains. The next stop to the north was 34th Street. The next stop to the south was 19th Street. The station closed on June 13, 1942.

The upper level was built as part of the Dual Contracts and had one track with two side platforms and served express trains. This station closed on May 12, 1955, with the ending of all service on the Third Avenue El south of 149th Street.

The Church of St. Sebastian is a former Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at 312 East 24th Street in Manhattan, New York City. The parish was established in 1921 and staffed by the Franciscan Friars; it was suppressed in 1971.

Holographic Studios, located in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, is the world's oldest gallery of holography. It was founded in 1979 by Jason Sapan, one of the pioneers of holography. The storefront level gallery features the world's largest collection of motion image integral holograms. On display in the gallery are a variety of different types of holographic images, including a collection of celebrity hologram portraits. There are also cylindrical 360° floating images, multiple image holograms that change as you walk by, and computer generated holograms as well as a selection of novelty hologram items and stickers. Directly below the gallery is the laser laboratory where holograms are created. Holographic Studios creates custom holograms, holographic portraits, offers classes, and operates tours.

Baruch College (officially the Bernard M. Baruch College) is a public college in New York City. It is a constituent college of the City University of New York system. Named for financier and statesman Bernard M. Baruch, the college operates undergraduate and postgraduate programs through the Zicklin School of Business, the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, and the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs.

The United States Post Office Madison Square Station is a historic post office building located at 149 East 23rd Street between Lexington Avenue and Third Avenue on the East Side of Manhattan, New York City. In spite of the building's name, it is not located on Madison Square but about five blocks east (approximately 1/4 mile) along 23rd Street. The building runs through the block to East 24th Street, where there are loading docks and another much smaller and less formal public entrance. The building was constructed in 1937, and was designed by Lorimer Rich for Louis A. Simon, the Supervising Architect of the Treasury. It is a two to three story building clad on its main facade with polished "Dakota Mahogany" granite in the Classical Revival style. The main facade features six two-story Doric order piers and pilaster that surround the recessed entrance bays. The exterior also features five bronze relief sculptures by artists Edmond Amateis and Louis Slobodkin illustrating different forms of communication: from west to east, the god Mercury, jungle drums, mail, carrier pigeon, and smoke signals. The interior features eight murals executed between 1937 and 1939 by artist Kindred McLeary.The Madison Square Station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Salk School of Science is a renowned junior high school in Gramercy, Manhattan, New York City and is a very competitive school. For the class of 2023, the admissions rate was just above 4%. It was founded in 1995 as a unique collaboration between the New York University School of Medicine and the New York City Department of Education. The goal of the school is to encourage an enthusiasm for, and the development of abilities in, the sciences, particularly the medical and biological sciences. Science and math are specialties at the school, including special classes for it and after-school programs. A particular aim is to encourage city children to aim for better high schools and colleges. It is located on the top two floors of the P.S. 40 building on East 20th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues in Manhattan.The school was named for Jonas Salk, developer of the first polio vaccine. Dr. Salk approved the use of his name by NYU before his death in 1995. The school's nontraditional discovery-based learning methodology has been cited as resulting in improved cognitive and reasoning skills in students.Members of the New York medical community work with the school to develop curriculum, and members of the Schools of Medicine and New York University School of Dentistry at New York University teach and mentor students in grades 6 through 8. The NYU Medical Center makes facilities available to the school, and members of the science faculty of the NYU School of Medicine review school students at certain points in their school career, notably at admission and graduation.Although the school is dubbed as a "Science School", the middle school spends an equal amount of time on Humanities (Reading, Writing and Social Studies), as well as Math. Other notable classes include Spanish, Art, Physical Education, Technology, Health and Drama. The principal of the school is Rhonda Perry and the vice/assistant principal is Jennifer Goodwin. The school allows students to bring money to school and at lunch time, to go out and buy themselves lunch at a variety of delis and restaurants. The school shares its building with another school, P.S. 40 which owns most of the building. There is a gymnasium, a cafeteria which is shared between the schools, and 2 floors exclusive to Salk School of Science. Both are located near the top of the building. There are 3 entrances one to the left side of the building, one to the right and one in the center. Students will normally exit through the right hand exit. There is school bus service which will bring students to and from school, thought most students take public transportation.

The William and Anita Newman Library is the main library for the students and faculty of Baruch College, a constituent college of the City University of New York. It is located on the 2nd-5th floors of the Information and Technology Building (also known as the Newman Library and Technology Center), at 151 East 25th Street in Rose Hill, Manhattan, New York City. The building was originally known as the Lexington Building or the 25th Street Power House. It was erected in 1895 as the main powerhouse for the Lexington Avenue cable car line, and was later used as an electrical substation when the line began operating streetcars. The upper floors were used as office and manufacturing space. In the late 1980s and 1990s, the building was purchased by Baruch College as part of its new campus and renovated for library and academic use, opening in 1994.

The Weissman School of Arts and Sciences (commonly known as Weissman) is the arts and sciences school of Baruch College. Named after George Weissman, former president of Philip Morris, and his wife Mildred, the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences is one of the three schools that comprise Baruch College and offers the Bachelor of Arts degree in various disciplines. While the Zicklin School of Business is the largest school at Baruch College, Weissman offers a majority of the courses in the required core curriculum for undergraduates.

The Zicklin School of Business (commonly known as Zicklin) is the business school of Baruch College. It was established in 1919 and is named after financier and alumnus Lawrence Zicklin. Zicklin is the largest business school in the United States, with more than 10,000 students enrolled in its programs. The current dean is H. Fenwick Huss, formerly the dean of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. Zicklin and the Murray Koppelman School of Business at Brooklyn College are the only two units of the City University of New York that are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
