The Todd Bolender Center for Dance and Creativity, named after the late Todd Bolender, is located in what used to be the Union Station Power House in Kansas City, Missouri. It opened on August 26, 2011. Following extensive renovations on the historic building, it became home for the Kansas City Ballet.

Boulevard Brewing Company is a brewery located in Kansas City, Missouri. The Brewers Association currently ranks the American arm of Boulevard's parent company, Duvel Moortgat USA, as the 12th largest craft brewery, and the 18th largest active brewery in the United States based on 2014 sales volume. Boulevard is the largest craft brewery in the state of Missouri. Boulevard's beers are available in select markets across the United States and Canada.In 2013, Boulevard was acquired by Duvel Moortgat Brewery. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but industry publication Beer Business Daily estimated the sale price exceeds $100 million.

The Jensen-Salsbery Laboratories building in Kansas City, Missouri is a building from 1918. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. Two Atlas sculptures representing Biology and Chemistry were created by Kansas City sculptor Jorgen Dreyer in 1918 on the third floor above the entry doors.

Bourbon Township is one of ten townships in Boone County, Missouri, USA. As of the 2012, its population was 2,729. The township's major city is the railroad town of Sturgeon.

Sacred Heart Church, School and Rectory was a historic site at 2540–2544 Madison Avenue and 910 West 26th Street in Kansas City, Missouri. The church was built in 1896 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The Rectory and School building were demolished in 2010 but the original church building and its parish hall remain. The congregation is now known as Sacred Heart Guadalupe due to its merger with Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in 1991

West High School was a high school in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. It was a part of the Kansas City, Missouri School District. West High School had the highest Latino population of any high school in the district. In 1978, Don Pecina led a group of parents who examined West High School; they wished to improve the education since many residents of western Kansas City committed crimes and died in violent manners. The group formed the Coalition to Preserve Education on the Westside. On August 7, 1980, the group hijacked the school. After three days of negotiations between the district and the coalition, the district agreed to open a new program at West High School in 1981. Instead, the school was closed that year. The high school building has since been converted into apartments.

The Stuart Hall Building is located at 2121 Central Street in the Crossroads Arts District neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. The former commercial building is known as the Freight House Lofts or Stuart Hall Lofts.

The Sweeney School was a trade school in Kansas City, Missouri, founded by Emory J. Sweeney in 1908 to use the "Sweeney System" (hands on training) and eventually taught more than a dozen trades, e.g., "Autos, Tractors, and Aviation": Sweeney Automobile School and Sweeney School of Aviation c. 1921. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The Pencoyd Railroad Bridge is a former railroad bridge in Kansas City, Missouri, that was converted into the Freight House Pedestrian Bridge and moved to its new location where it connects Union Station and the Crossroads Arts District.

On February 14, 2024, 33 people were wounded in a mass shooting at the west side of Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. One person was killed and 22 others were shot, including 11 children. The shooting followed a Super Bowl LVIII victory parade for the Kansas City Chiefs.Two adults and two juveniles were charged in connection with the shooting, with the adults being charged with murder.

The Kansas City Irish Center, formerly known as the Irish Center of Kansas City, is a non-profit organization in Kansas City, Missouri. The Center opened in Union Station on March 17, 2007 (Saint Patrick's Day). The Center's mission encourages knowledge and appreciation of the Irish and Irish-American community, culture, history, and heritage in the greater Kansas City area and region.
