Jurong Island Highway (Chinese: 裕廊岛大道; Malay: Lebuhraya Pulau Jurong; Tamil: ஜூரோங் தீவு விரைவுச்சாலை) is a major highway in Singapore which links Jurong Pier Road in Jurong Port of the main island to Jurong Island. It was opened in March 1999. It is also the only highway within Jurong Island. There are plans to build a second causeway to link the Western end of Jurong Island Highway and Gul Road in Jurong Industrial Estate, Mainland Singapore but the plan was put on hold due to the possibility that the causeway might affect the passage of ships to the shipyards in the Southern part of Jurong Industrial Area. A speed camera (limit 70 km/h) was set up in 2009 next to the CNG station.

Jurong Pier MRT station is a future elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Jurong Region Line (JRL), located on the boundary of Boon Lay and Jurong East planning areas in Singapore. The station will be the southern terminus of the JRL mainline. Trains entering service at this station will terminate at Peng Kang Hill via Bahar Junction. First announced in May 2018, the station is expected to be completed in 2029 along with Phase 3 of JRL.

Jurong Hill (Chinese: 裕廊山; Malay: Bukit Peropok) is a scenic hill situated in western Singapore off Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim. Originally, the hill is known as Bukit Peropok in Malay. It is enveloped in 15 hectares of lush greenery and stands at 60 meters. As of 5 October 2023, Jurong Hill has been closed for construction works.

Jurong Bird Park was formerly an aviary and tourist attraction in Jurong, Singapore between 1971 and 2023. The largest such bird park in Asia, it covers an area of 0.2 square kilometres (49 acres) on the western slope of Jurong Hill, the highest point in the Jurong region. It was one of the parks managed by Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which are also the managers of Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and River Wonders. In 2016, the Mandai Wildlife Group announced that the Jurong Bird Park would be relocated to a much larger park at Mandai Lake Road by 2020, consolidating with the three existing wildlife parks together with a new Rainforest Park to form an integrated nature and wildlife precinct known as the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. In 2021, the group announced that the park's successor in Mandai would be named Bird Paradise. In 2022, it was announced that Jurong Bird Park would close on 3 January 2023 to finalise its move to Bird Paradise at Mandai.

The Jurong Reptile Park (also known as Jurong Reptile and Crocodile Paradise) was a 2-hectare (4.9-acre) reptile zoo located within the Boon Lay Planning Area of the Jurong district in Singapore. It was the largest reptile park in Asia. The reptile park sponsored the S.League Jurong Football Club until 2003.

The South West Community Development Council is one of five Community Development Councils (CDCs) set up across the Republic of Singapore to aid in local administration of governmental policies and schemes. They are funded in part by the government although they are free to engage in fund-raising activities. The South West Community Development Council (CDC) was formed on 24 November 2001. Spanning the south-western region of Singapore, covering a third of its land area. The District has about 220,000 households with over 750,000 residents. The District has a characteristically high concentration of industrial estates, including the Jurong Islands and Tuas area.

Tukang MRT station is a future elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Jurong Region line in Boon Lay, Singapore. The name is derived from the road nearby, Jalan Tukang.

PacificLight is a Singapore-based power generator and electricity retailer. It runs an 800MW plant, operated by PacificLight Power Pte Ltd, which uses Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as its primary fuel. In 2015, PacificLight generated 9% of Singapore’s total electricity needs. PacificLight Energy Pte Ltd sells electricity to eligible consumers in Singapore, which includes manufacturing companies, shopping malls, SMEs, and small businesses such as coffee shops or retail outlets. Under the current government regulations, only non-residential customers with an average monthly electricity consumption of less than 2,000kWh are eligible. However, in 2018, the threshold will be reduced such that all Singapore electricity customers will be eligible to purchase electricity from a licensed retailer such as PacificLight Energy.

Sungei Jurong (also known as the Jurong River) is a river in Jurong East, Singapore. The Jurong River subzone runs across this river. The subzone is bounded by the Ayer Rajah Expressway, Jurong Port Road, Jalan Buroh and Penjuru Road.

Soon Lee Bus Park is an SBS Transit West District bus depot located in Jurong West, Singapore. It is the only multi-storey bus depot owned by SBS Transit and the depot itself consists of 3 decks. This bus depot is also the starting point for Service 185 and Express 502. It replaced the former Jurong Bus Depot and Penjuru Bus Depot in 2002.

Kian Teck (建德) is an area in Jurong Industrial Estate in Singapore. It is in between Joo Koon and Boon Lay stations. It is home to many dormitories which houses foreign workers as well as factories and warehouses. Arena Country Club is also located within the industrial estate.
