Walkways Through the Wall

City Yard is a public art work by artist Sheila Klein, located at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The artwork consists of landscape elements, limestone architectural ornament, and salvaged public works objects such as fire hydrants and the classic blue police call box.

The Wisconsin Center (formerly Midwest Express Center, Midwest Airlines Center, Frontier Airlines Center and Delta Center) is a convention and exhibition center located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The center is part of a greater complex of buildings which includes the UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Miller High Life Theatre, and was a replacement for the former Great Hall portion of the MECCA Complex. The building was previously named after its sponsor Delta Air Lines, who had purchased naming rights to the facility in August 2012. On June 30, 2013, Delta terminated its naming rights at the center and the facility was officially renamed the "Wisconsin Center" the following day.The convention center hosted the 2020 Democratic National Convention. The event was initially planned to be held in the nearby Fiserv Forum but was ultimately downsized due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Anime Milwaukee (AMKE) is an annual three-day anime convention held during February at the Wisconsin Center & Hilton Milwaukee City Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is Wisconsin's largest anime convention.

The Hilton Milwaukee City Center is a historic Art Deco-style hotel opened in 1928 and located in the Westown neighborhood of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is owned by the Marcus Corporation, which also owns the Pfister Hotel and the Saint Kate Hotel in Downtown Milwaukee.

310W is a 14 story office building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The cobalt blue building is the third largest multi-tenant office building in Wisconsin with a leasable area of over 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2). It consists of two wings connected by an atrium, and is connected to the Milwaukee skywalk system.

The MECCA Great Hall was a 6,500-capacity convention center located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which existed from 1974 to 1998. It was part of the MECCA Complex. The Wisconsin Center was built as a replacement for the hall.

Peter John was a sculpture by artist John Raimondi commissioned in 1978. It was located in front of the new Blue Cross Blue Shield building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2015, during the conversion of the building into apartments, the sculpture disappeared and its whereabouts are unknown.

Family is a public artwork by American artist Helaine Blumenfeld located on the Henry Reuss Federal Plaza, which is in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. The sculpture is made from Norwegian blue granite. It consists of five forms, with the largest form measuring approximately 89 x 58 x 27 inches. Family was installed in the Henry Reuss Federal Plaza in 1983.

The Wisconsin Workers Memorial is a public artwork by American artists Terese Agnew and Mary Zebell located in Zeidler Park, which is in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. The artwork, created in 1995, takes the whole park as its theme, and includes a gazebo in the middle of the park with handles of tools and grills forming the ornamental grillwork. There are also decorative chains around the park spelling out popular labor slogans, as well as graphic panels explaining significant moments in Wisconsin's labor history.

The Avenue (previously known as The Grand Avenue, The Shops of Grand Avenue and Shops of Grand Avenue) is an urban shopping plaza currently under renovation that spans three city blocks in the downtown neighborhood of Westown in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Avenue has been the only major indoor shopping facility in the city of Milwaukee proper with the closing of Capitol Court in 2000 and the Northridge Mall in 2003 due to competition from newly renovated malls in nearby suburbs.

The Wisconsin Tower, or 606 Building, is a 22-story, 280-foot-tall (85 m) art-deco high-rise building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was completed in 1930, and was the second tallest building in Milwaukee at the time of its completion. It would be surpassed by the Chase Tower in 1961. Originally the building was an office tower, but it was purchased and redeveloped into 74 condominiums in 2005. The renovation was completed the following year. The tower is located at 606 West Wisconsin Avenue.

On June 30, 2024, Dvontaye L. Mitchell, a 43-year-old African-American man, died after being pinned to the ground by four security staff members at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee hotel. Mitchell's death was captured on video, and shows him pleading for his life. Mitchell's brother likened it to the murder of George Floyd. Four people are being investigated for felony murder.
