Bat Galim (Hebrew: בת גלים, lit. Daughter of the Waves) is a neighborhood of Haifa, Israel, located at the foot of Mount Carmel on the Mediterranean coast. Bat Galim is known for its promenade and sandy beaches. The neighborhood spans from Rambam hospital in the North to the Haifa Cable Cars in the South, and from the Mediterranean Sea's shore line in the West to Bat Galim's train station on the East.

Rambam Health Care Campus (Hebrew: רמב"ם - הקריה הרפואית לבריאות האדם) commonly called Rambam Hospital, is a hospital in the Bat Galim neighborhood of Haifa, Israel founded in 1938, 10 years before the establishment of the State of Israel. It is the largest medical center in northern Israel and fifth largest in Israel, and is named for the 12th century physician-philosopher Rabbi Moshe Ben-Maimon (Maimonides), known as the Rambam.Rambam Health Care Campus is also an academic teaching hospital affiliated with the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Israel's oldest university.

Haifa Bat Galim railway station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת חיפה בת גלים, Taḥanat HaRakevet Ḥeifa Bat Gailm) is an Israel Railways passenger station situated on the coastal railway line and serves the city of Haifa. The station takes its name from the neighborhood of Bat Galim, where it is located. The station was Haifa's main train station from its construction in 1975 until the early 2000s.

The Haifa Bat Galim central bus station was named after the Haifa neighborhood of Bat Galim. Until January 1, 2002, it served all Egged intercity bus routes originating and terminating in Haifa, as well as most local routes. The Bat Galim station was in use for about thirty years. The main building itself is a Brutalist mega-structure.The bus platforms at the Bat Galim central bus station were outdoors. The building also housed outdoor stores and restaurants. On the lower level, one side of the building was used for departures, and the other for arrivals. On the upper level, buses arrived on the side of the building used for departures below. There is a tower above the station. A pedestrian tunnel connects the Bat Galim railway station, the Bat Galim bus station and the eastbound bus stops on the opposite side of HaHagana Road.

The Haifa Municipal Stadium (Hebrew: האצטדיון העירוני חיפה, Etztadion HaIroni Haifa), more commonly known as Kiryat Eliezer (קריית אליעזר‎), was a multi-use stadium in the Kiryat Eliezer neighborhood of Haifa, Israel. It was mostly used for football matches and as the home stadium of Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Haifa. At 2014, It was replaced by the new Sammy Ofer Stadium, located at the southern entrance to the city.

Kiryat Eliezer is a neighborhood in north-western Haifa, Israel. It is located south of Bat Galim and west of Kiryat Eliyahu. The neighborhood used to be notable for its stadium, former home to Maccabi Haifa F.C.

The Haifa naval base is a base of Israeli Navy, located in Haifa, Israel, and constitutes the main naval base of the Israel Defense Forces. The base is the hub of Israel's naval force. The naval base has submarines, missile boats and other vessels. On 28 November 2011, Brigadier General Eli Sharvit, was appointed as commander of the Haifa Naval Base.

The Italian Hospital in Haifa (Italian: Ospedale Italiano, Hebrew: בית החולים האיטלקי בחיפה) is a medical center administered by the National Association for Assistance to Italian Missionaries (ANSMI). Inaugurated at the current location in 1932-33, the hospital is run by the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who are providing the nursing staff which is also residing in the hospital. The hospital contains over 100 beds.

The National Maritime Museum (Hebrew: המוזיאון הימי הלאומי, HaMuze'on HaYami HaLe'umi) is a maritime and archaeological museum in Haifa, Israel. The museum was founded in 1953, based on the private collection of its founder and first director, Aryeh Ben-Eli. In 1972, the museum moved to its current premises near the northern beachhead of Mount Carmel, between Stella Maris and Bat Galim neighborhoods. Nearby are the Israeli Clandestine Immigration and Naval Museum and the Cave of Elijah. The Marine Workshop of the Leon Recanati Institute for Maritime Studies, affiliated with the University of Haifa is located at the museum. The workshop provides professional diving and field surveying services for field research conducted at the institute.Archaeological finds on permanent display at the museum include the Athlit Ram, a bronze ram of a 2nd-century BC warship.

The Clandestine Immigration and Naval Museum (Hebrew: מוזיאון ההעפלה וחיל הים ע"ש דוד הכהן‎) is a technical history museum located in Haifa, Israel. The museum covers the maritime history of Israel – from clandestine immigration during the British Mandate for Palestine through the history of the Israeli navy since its inception. The museum is named after David HaCohen, one of the leaders of the Jewish Yishuv. It was established by Colonel Yoske Coral and opened to the public in 1969. The museum is run by the Israeli Ministry of Defense. It stands next to the Israeli National Maritime Museum, dedicated to maritime history and archaeology.

LCT 147 is an amphibious assault ship for landing tanks, other vehicles and troops on beachheads. Built in 1941 by Stockton Construction, Thornaby-on-Tees, the Mark 2 LCT 147 took part in the Invasion of North Africa in June 1943. The ship was converted to a Landing Craft Rocket at Portsmouth Dockyard from March through May 1943 and renamed LCT(2)(R) 147.LCT 147 was decommissioned in 1946, and transferred to the Italian Navy but was sold to commercial service later that year until being acquired by the Mossad LeAliyah Bet. The ship was absorbed into the Israeli navy and became a museum ship in Haifa.
