Chancellor is a historic canal tugboat located at Waterford, New York. It was built in 1938 by the Ira S. Bushey & Sons Shipyard of Brooklyn, New York. She measures 76.7 ft (23.4 m) in length, 21 ft (6.4 m) in beam, and 9.3 ft (2.8 m) depth of hold. She was designed for use on the New York State Barge Canal.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.The Tug Chancellor is owned and operated by the Waterford Maritime Historical Society, based in Waterford, New York. In 2017 she took on water and sunk up to her wheelhouse, leaving her future in limbo.

Catawissa was a historic tugboat located at Waterford in Saratoga County, New York. She was built in 1896-1897 by Harlan and Hollingsworth of Wilmington, Delaware for the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad to tow coal barges between ports on the Eastern Seaboard. She was 158 feet in length, 19 feet in beam and 18 feet in depth. She was registered at 558 gross tons. She had a riveted steel framed and plated hull. She was renamed New York in 1941.Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996, Catawissa was scrapped in 2008.

Ormsby-Laughlin Textile Companies Mill is a historic textile mill located at Waterford in Saratoga County, New York. It was built in 1894 and is a 4+1⁄2-story, Romanesque Revival style, brick industrial building with a gable roof. It features a 6+1⁄2-story tower at the center of the front facade. The rear elevation features a 5-story elevator tower and a 100-foot-square brick smokestack attached to a 1-story wing. It is the only surviving factory associated with the major industrial community known as Dial City.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

It was settled in 1633 and became the first incorporated village in the state in 1794. It is the southern terminus of the Champlain Canal and the eastern terminus of the Erie Canal.

Northside Historic District is a 60-acre (24 ha) national historic district located at Waterford in Saratoga County, New York. The listing included 125 contributing buildings and one other contributing structure. The district dates to 1828 and includes Greek Revival and Late Victorian architecture.The district is chiefly residential and is characterized by large and small structures including the mansions of mill owners and modest workers' dwellings. Notable residences include the Hugh White mansion and the William Mansfield home. Both are Greek Revival houses built about 1830. The Hugh White mansion serves as the Waterford Museum.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Troy–Waterford Bridge carries U.S. Route 4 across the Hudson River in New York connecting Waterford with Troy. The bridge is two lanes wide, with sidewalks on both sides. The bridge serves as a replacement for the 1804-built Union Bridge, which burned on July 10, 1909.The Waterford Bridges, which include the current bridge and the original 1804 bridge, were designated as a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Civil Engineers in 2013.

Matton Shipyard is a historic shipyard and canal boat service yard located on Van Schaick Island at Cohoes in Albany County, New York. It consists of eight extant buildings, various surviving features, and archaeological remains dating to the period 1916 to 1983 when the site functioned as a shipyard, repair facility, and towboat operation on the New York State Barge Canal and Champlain Canal. Extant buildings include the office / stores (c. 1916-1917), watchman's building (c. 1936-1943), sheet metal shop (c. 1937-1938), carpenter shop (c. 1916 and 1936-1943), stores building (c. 1941-1943), pipeshop (c. 1936-1943), pitch building (pre-1936), garage (c. 1916), and electric building. Also on the property are a flagpole (c. 1916), dock, steel launching ramps, fence, and camels. Numerous ruins also occupy the property. The motor ship Day Peckinpaugh is berthed here. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Powers Home, also known as Davenport Homestead, is a historic home located in the Lansingburgh section of Troy in Rensselaer County, New York. It was built in 1846 and is a temple style Greek Revival residence. It is a "T" shaped residence with a two-story, three bay, frame central block with two flanking wings and one long rear wing. The flanking wings were added in 1883–1884. It features a monumental portico composed of four fluted Ionic order columns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
