Freedom High School is a large urban, public high school located in Bethlehem Township in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. Freedom High School is one of the two public high schools operated by the Bethlehem Area School District. It is located at 3149 Chester Avenue in Bethlehem Township. As of the 2021–22 school year, Freedom High School had an enrollment of 1,868 students, according to National Center for Education Statistics data. Housenick Park is the popular name for a passive park located in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania. The 55 acre/22.3 hectare Janet Johnston Housenick and William D. Housenick Memorial Park of Bethlehem Township and the 36 acre/14.6 hectare Archibald Johnston Conservation Area of Northampton County comprise the park. The two parcels were gifts of Janet Johnston Housenick, the great-granddaughter of Archibald Johnston, the first mayor of the consolidated city of Bethlehem.

Dutch Springs is a spring-fed lake located north of the city of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Since 1980, a commercial recreation area, with facilities for scuba diving, has operated at the location. Dutch Springs had planned on selling the property to a warehouse company and it was expected to close operations. In 2022 the Dutch Springs commercial diving and training facility was reopened under the name "Lake Hydra".

Nancy Run (also known as Nancys Run) is a tributary of the Lehigh River in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The creek is approximately 4.1 miles (6.6 km) long and flows through Bethlehem Township and Freemansburg. The stream's watershed has an area of approximately 6.14 square miles (15.9 km2). It is classified as a Coldwater Fishery and a High-Quality Coldwater Fishery and has been home to trout and a diverse macroinvertebrate community.
