Housenick Park is the popular name for a passive park located in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania. The 55 acre/22.3 hectare Janet Johnston Housenick and William D. Housenick Memorial Park of Bethlehem Township and the 36 acre/14.6 hectare Archibald Johnston Conservation Area of Northampton County comprise the park. The two parcels were gifts of Janet Johnston Housenick, the great-granddaughter of Archibald Johnston, the first mayor of the consolidated city of Bethlehem.

Altonah was a former village in Northampton County, Pennsylvania located one mile north of the then borders of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The village's name is a corruption of the German phrase "all zu nähe", translated as "all too near", referencing its close proximity to Bethlehem and the fact that the village was inhabited by German settlers.

Macada was a former village in Northampton County, Pennsylvania located adjacent to Bethlehem. The village was initially a loosely defined farming community across the entire norther border of the borough until 1889 when William H. Best opened a general store which became the de-facto village center.

The Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School is a career and technical school located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It was officially started in 1965 when the Bethlehem Area School District, Northampton Area School District, and Saucon Valley School District combined resources to form one vocational-technical school for its students to attend. As of 2015, the school had a total enrollment of 1,260 students.

Northampton Community College is a public community college in Pennsylvania with campuses in Bethlehem in Northampton County and Tannersville in Monroe County. The college, founded in 1967, also has satellite locations in the south side of Bethlehem and Hawley. The college serves more than 34,000 students a year in credit and non-credit programs. Northampton grants associate degrees, certificates and diplomas in more than 100 fields including arts and humanities, business and technology, education and allied health. It is one of the largest employers in the Lehigh Valley and a major educator of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, emergency responders, radiologic technologists, dental hygienists, veterinary technologists, funeral service directors, chefs and early childhood educators for the region.The college is also one of the largest providers of workforce training, adult literacy programs, and non-credit classes in a four-county region and the only community college in Pennsylvania to offer on-campus housing.
