Martin Hussingtree

The Church of St Michael and All Angels is a Grade I listed church in Martin Hussingtree, Worcestershire.The west wall is probably of 12th century origin, but the remainder of the church was rebuilt in the early 13th century.Thomas Tomkins was buried in the churchyard on 9 June 1656.

Hindlip or Hinlip is a village and civil parish 3 miles (4.8 km) north east of Worcester, in the Wychavon district, in the county of Worcestershire, England. In 2011 the parish had a population of 180. The parish touches Tibberton, Martin Hussingtree, Salwarpe, Oddingley, Warndon and North Claines.

Hindlip Hall is a stately home in Hindlip, Worcestershire, England. The first major hall was built before 1575, and it played a significant role in both the Babington and the Gunpowder plots, where it hid four people in priest holes. It was Humphrey Littleton who told the authorities that Edward Oldcorne was hiding here after he had been heard saying Mass at Hindlip Hall. Four people were executed and the owner at that time barely escaped execution himself due to the intercession of Lord Monteagle. It was later owned by a poet and was for a while a girls' school before being rebuilt by Lord Southwell in 1820. The Hall was designated as a potential home for the war cabinet in 1940. It is now home to the West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service headquarters.

Fernhill Heath railway station was an intermediate railway station on the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway between Worcester (Tunnel Junction) and Droitwich Spa.

Salwarpe is a small village and civil parish in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, England, less than two miles south west of Droitwich, but in open country. The name is also spelled Salwarp, and in the time of John Leland was recorded as Salop. Since 2003, Salwarpe has shared a parish council with Hindlip and Martin Hussingtree.

Fernhill Heath is a village in Worcestershire, England. It is in the civil parish of North Claines in Wychavon district. Fernhill Heath is located on the A38 main road on the north-side of the City of Worcester and is approximately 3 miles north of Worcester and 3 miles south of Droitwich. The population of Fernhill Heath is around 3,000 people. The village features two Public Houses called The White Hart, The Bull and, a sub-post office, 3 shops, a primary school, a Baptist church, War Memorial Hall and a community centre. Fernhill Heath railway station was closed in the 1960s, but may reopen as a parkway station.One of the oldest properties within Fernhill Heath is Fernhill Heath House which was once owned and occupied by Lady Hindlip (Mrs Allsopp) who had moved into this as a widower upon the death of Lord Hindlip. The house is now owned after extensive renovation 30 ish years ago by Richard Pearce. Agatha Hindlip donated money to the village upon her death to build a bowling green - however only the street name remaining Agatha Gardens.

The Church of the Sacred Heart and St Catherine of Alexandria is a Catholic church situated in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, England, noted for its remarkable mosaics. Walter Loveridge Hodgkinson was a main benefactor of the church. The architect was Frank Barry Peacock. The building was listed at Grade II* on 11 December 2013.

Worcester Raiders Football Club is a football club based in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. They are currently members of the Hellenic League Division One and play at Sixways Stadium.

Sixways Stadium is a stadium in Worcester, England. It is currently used for rugby union and association football matches and is the home stadium of Premiership Rugby club Worcester Warriors and Hellenic League Division One football side Worcester Raiders. The stadium is able to hold 11,499 with parking for 1,000 cars, Sixways has 60 modern meeting and event rooms . The ground opened in 1975 and is located off junction 6 of the M5 motorway, which splits into six directions, hence the name Sixways. The Stadium commenced building on the site of the old 3rd team pitch and club house after a lottery grant in 1998. On 7 April 2016 it was announced that Sixways' pitch would be converted to the latest technology artificial grass ahead of the 2016–17 season. Sixways would become the third premiership venue with an artificial pitch after Barnet Copthall stadium and Kingston Park but the first to feature organic infill rather than rubber crumb.

Droitwich Spa High School is a secondary school and specialist Sports College with academy status in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, England. It serves the town of Droitwich Spa and the surrounding villages with 1395 students enrolled, including 276 students in the sixth form. The school was opened following the closure of the Droitwich Secondary School, the building is now Witton Middle School. The buildings have grown in size from the original administration, science, sport, languages and technology blocks. The actual site for the School is an island. In August 1992, the drama and music block was burnt in an arson attack. The building took 4 years to be fully rebuilt. The Maths block was also struck by lightning in 2007. An Ofsted report in 2008 awarded the school a Grade 2 (good).Droitwich Spa High School celebrated its 40th anniversary on 9 July 2011 with a fête and reunions of old school colleagues. Previous teachers have included Chas Newby and Jacqui Smith. The High School became an academy in July 2011.In November 2011, Droitwich Spa High School was judged to be 'inadequate' by OFSTED inspectors, who issued the school with an official notice to improve due to the school "performing significantly less well than in all the circumstances it could reasonably be expected to perform". The school was visited by Ofsted following the notice to improve in November 2012 and was judged 'good' with 'outstanding leadership and management'. Ofsted recognised "...very successful action to bring about rapid improvement of all aspects of the academy's work."

Westwood Priory (priory of St. Mary) was a priory of Benedictine nuns founded in 1153, near Droitwich, Worcestershire, England. It was a daughter house of Fontevraud Abbey, seized by the English crown in 1537 during the Dissolution of the monasteries.

Droitwich Spa railway station serves the town of Droitwich Spa in Worcestershire, England. It is located just to the south-west of Droitwich Spa Junction of the Worcester to Leamington Spa Line and the Worcester to Birmingham New Street line. The station is managed by West Midlands Trains, who also operate all trains serving it.
