Stoner Creek is a stream in Bourbon and Clark counties, Kentucky, in the United States. It was named for Michael Stoner, who settled near the creek in the 18th century. Stoner Creek runs through Kentucky horse country.

This building, built in 1803, is an early stone church. It is a two-story building with three bays.

The Thomas Champ House near Paris, Kentucky was built in 1825. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.It is located on Lexington and Maysville Rd. (U.S. Route 68). It has also been known as Sulpher Spring Farm and as Long Champ Farm. It includes two contributing buildings and a contributing site.It includes a main house, a smokehouse, a cemetery, a garage, and a pair of entrance gates.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.It was built as a house for Ned Stone, a slave dealer who eventually was killed in a mutiny on a slave ship.

Runnymede Farm is an American horse breeding farm located outside Paris, Kentucky on U.S. Route 27, the Paris-Cynthiana Road. It is said to be the longest continuously running Thoroughbred horse farm in Kentucky, 365-acre (1.48 km2) established in 1867 by American Civil War Colonel Ezekiel Field Clay.Colonel Ezekiel Clay (1840–1920), whose father, Brutus J. Clay, was a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives and the United States House of Representatives and a breeder of Thoroughbreds and champion cattle. He was a nephew of abolitionist Cassius Clay and a cousin to Henry Clay.

Lair is an unincorporated community in Harrison County, Kentucky, United States. Lair is located on U.S. Route 27, 3.4 miles (5.5 km) south of Cynthiana.

The John Hinkson House in Harrison County, Kentucky near Shawhan, dates from c.1790. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The house is a three-bay two-story dry stone house hall-parlor plan house. It was built by John Hickson, a Revolutionary War soldier and famous early settler, who led the first group of white men up the Licking River to settle in this area. The listing included four contributing buildings and a contributing structure. It has also been known as the Old Ammerman Place.

Stoner Creek Stud was an American Thoroughbred horse breeding farm near Paris, Kentucky, originally owned by Chicago businessman John D. Hertz and his wife, Fannie Kesner Hertz (1881–1963).In his early business years in Chicago, John Hertz owned a farm near Cary, Illinois. In the 1930s, he acquired a property in Woodland Hills, California, in the San Fernando Valley where he raised Thoroughbred racehorses. He purchased Stoner Creek Stud for breeding and training, and two of his horses went on to win the Kentucky Derby. His first came with Reigh Count in 1928 then with his son, Count Fleet, who won the 1943 American Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. In the Blood-Horse magazine List of the Top 100 U.S. Racehorses of the 20th Century, Count Fleet was ranked #5. Hertz was part of the American syndicate that purchased the English stallion Blenheim who became an important American sire. In 1954, John Hertz published a book, "The Racing Memoirs of John Hertz as told to Evan Shipman."
