Weiler-la-Tour

Hassel (Luxembourgish: Haassel) is a small town in the commune of Weiler-la-Tour, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 428. It is the administrative centre of Weiler-la-Tour commune.

Frisange (French pronunciation: [fʁizɑ̃ʒ]; Luxembourgish: Fréiseng, German: Frisingen) is a commune and town in southern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette. As of 2005, the town of Frisange, which lies in the north of the commune, has a population of 1,302. Other towns within the commune include Aspelt and Hellange.

Aspelt Castle (Luxembourgish: Schlass Uespelt; French: Château d'Aspelt), located in Aspelt in the south of Luxembourg, is a Baroque residence built in 1590 on the site of a medieval castle from the 11th century. There are now plans to renovate the building.

Syren (Luxembourgish: Siren) is a small town in the commune of Weiler-la-Tour, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2001, the town had a population of 416 people. Syren is the source of the Syre river, which flows down to the Moselle, through some of Luxembourg's wealthiest districts. In 2003, there was a fire which destroyed 4 homes. A similar fire happened in the summer of 2014, destroying one chalet.

Aspelt (Luxembourgish: Uespelt) is a small town in the commune of Frisange, in southern Luxembourg. In 2005, its population was 970. Aspelt Castle in the centre of the town is a Baroque residence built in 1590 on the site of a medieval castle from the 11th century. There are now plans to renovate the building.

Évrange (French pronunciation: [evʁɑ̃ʒ]; German: Ewringen) is a commune in the Moselle department in Grand Est in north-eastern France.

Alzingen (Luxembourgish: Alzeng) is a town in the commune of Hesperange, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2006, the town has a population of 1,622. The town's main thoroughfare is the Route de Thionville, which runs from Thionville, France, to Luxembourg City.

Filsdorf (Luxembourgish: Fëlschdref) is a small town in the commune of Dalheim, in south-eastern Luxembourg.

Contern (Luxembourgish: Conter [ˈkontɐ] ) is a commune and town in southern Luxembourg. It is located east of Luxembourg City.As of 2023, the town of Contern, which lies in the south-west of the commune, has a population of 1,836.The main towns are Contern, Moutfort, Oetrange and Medingen and Milbech. Additionally the commune contains the Lieu-dits of Bricherhaff, Brichermillen, Kréintgeshaff, Kackerterhaff, Marxeknupp and Pleitrange.The commune also contains the industrial zones of Chaux de Contern, and Rosswenkel, as well as the activity zone of Weiergewan. The town hall was formerly situated among these industrial zones prior to the redesign of the area. Intersections became roundabouts, roads were repaved, and the railway station, Sandweiler-Contern was completely rebuilt in a new location in December 2015 for easier access from the main road in the Industrial Zone. The new town hall was built next to the church on the hill around the centre of the town.

Crauthem (Luxembourgish: Krautem, German: Krauthem) is a town in the commune of Roeser, in southern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 1,228.

The District of Luxembourg was one of three districts of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It also had the highest per capita income of the districts of the duchy. Its per capita income was $72,300. After the reorganization of Luxembourg's administrative divisions in 2015, all three districts were abolished per 3 October 2015.
