Vista Grande High School

Mission Heights Preparatory High School (MHPHS) is a public charter high school in Casa Grande, Arizona, United States. It was established in 2011 and is operated by The Leona Group. For athletics, it is a member of the Canyon Athletic Association (CAA).

Casa Grande (O'odham: Wainom Wo:g) is a city in Pinal County, approximately halfway between Phoenix and Tucson in the U.S. state of Arizona. According to U.S. Census estimates, the population of the city is 55,653 as of 2020. It is named after the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, which is actually located in Coolidge. "Casa Grande" is Spanish for "big house". Among resident English speakers, there is no consensus on how to pronounce the city's name.

On November 29, 2012, a bomb placed at the back door of the Casa Grande, Arizona, U.S. Social Security Administration office shook the city's downtown but failed to breach the building. An Iraqi-born convicted felon, Abdullatif Ali Aldosary, 47, was charged. Evidence collected at his home shows he researched "terrorist bombs" and amassed appropriate materials. Aldosary, allowed entry as a refugee, was denied a green card based on his "terrorism-related activities" as an insurgent fighting Saddam Hussein in 1991. No motive has been suggested by authorities. Aldosary was also charged with an unrelated murder that occurred two days before the bombing.

The White House in Casa Grande in Pinal County, Arizona is a Tudor Revival house built c. 1929. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.It was noted to be the best example in Casa Grande of a Tudor Period Revival House. It was the home of J.W. White, a long-time resident who had an electrical company in Casa Grande.

Desert Winds High School was an intervention/retention high school in Casa Grande, Arizona. There are two sessions in the school: Credit Recovery and Alternative. Credit Recovery meets in the morning, and the alternative school meets in the afternoon. It was part of the Casa Grande Union High School District. This school is currently closed.

Arizola is a populated place situated in Pinal County, Arizona, United States. It has an estimated elevation of 1,437 feet (438 m) above sea level.The community was named by combining Arizona and Ola Thomas, the daughter of an early settler.

Fisher Memorial Home was an historic structure located at 300 E. 8th Street in Casa Grande, Arizona. The building was included on the National Register of Historic Places, before being removed on January 31, 2019, having been destroyed by fire in April 2017.

The Church of the Nazarene is a historic church located at 305 East 4th Street in Casa Grande, Arizona, in the United States. Built in 1949, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, on November 20, 2002, as the Church of the Nazarene. It was listed for its architecture. The church shows Spanish revival and Romanesque architectural styles.It was included in the Casa Grande, Arizona Multiple Property Submission study.

First Baptist Church is a Conservative Baptist church at 218 E. Eighth Street, at the northwest corner of intersection with N. Olive, in Casa Grande, Arizona. The church was founded in 1920. Its building constructed in 1938 was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. The listing included two contributing buildings.It was deemed significant "as a good example of the Mission/Spanish Colonial Revival style.... Indicative of the Mission style is the simplicity of form, the arched windows that punctuate the facade, and the minimal use of surface ornamentation. This property, like many properties that utilized revival styles during the era of this building's construction, borrows elements of other revival styles such as Gothic, Tudor and Romanesque. This property also has good integrity, as the only alteration appears to be the addition of solid material in place of glazing in the main arched window light on the front facade." The building is also significant one of only three public buildings in a surveyed area that is of wood-frame construction.

The Building at 400 East Third Street, in Casa Grande, Arizona, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. It was built around 1950 in a simplified Romanesque Revival style.The building was commissioned by a local Church of Christ that had been meeting in a grammar school auditorium and was built with hired and volunteer labor; the first services were held on January 3, 1943, though the building was unfinished due to wartime restrictions on building materials. The Church of Christ moved to 805 E. Racine in 1985. After moving out, the building has been home to a succession of churches, with the building being owned by the Church of God of Prophecy (Spanish: Iglesia de Dios de la Profecia, also known as Templo Bethel and later Comunidad Cristiana Bethel). Other users have been Indian Trails Missions, which was authorized to use it as an office to assist immigrants applying for U.S. citizenship) and Living Waters Church, a Pentecostal church.Its 2001 National Register nomination states that it was created as a religious facility, but does not identify the name or the type of religious facility which built it. It further states that at the time of nomination it was in use as a church, again without identifying its name or denomination.It was deemed significant as an example of simplified Romanesque Revival style, and also for its use of brick as construction material. It was the only public building of brick construction in Casa Grande and one of only 13 brick buildings of any type; the others were residences or commercial buildings.

Johnston's Grocery Store, at 301 N. Picacho in Casa Grande, Arizona, is a historic building built around 1907. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.It was deemed significant for its use of adobe, which was rarely used for commercial buildings at the time of its construction. The building first served as a grocery store until 1932, first operated by Johnston and then by Wong Hong Chin. It was later home of Sofia's Mexican Chicken.It was owned from 1920 to 1935 by George Washington Johnston.
