Rockingham railway station is a railway station in Rockingham, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is on the Mandurah railway line, which is part of the Transperth commuter rail network. It has two side platforms, linked by a pedestrian overpass accessed by stairs, a lift, and escalators. Services run every 10 minutes during peak, and every 15 minutes between peak. The journey to Perth railway station is 43.2 kilometres (26.8 mi), and takes 34 minutes. The journey to Mandurah railway station is 27.6 kilometres (17.1 mi), and takes 17 minutes. The station has a bus interchange with twelve bus stands, and 14 regular bus routes. The station opened on 23 December 2007, along with the rest of the Mandurah line.

Rockingham bus station was a Transperth bus station located next to Rockingham City Shopping Centre, 47 kilometres (29 mi) south of Perth, Western Australia. The original Rockingham bus station opened in November 1974.A new station was opened on 8 May 1981 by the minister for transport, Cyril Rushton. This enabled Rockingham to receive more bus services to Perth and Fremantle, as well as new and increased suburban feeder routes through Rockingham.It closed on 7 October 2007, being replaced by bus facilities at Rockingham railway station. It was demolished in 2008.

Rockingham Centre is a regional shopping centre located 47 kilometres (29 mi) south-southwest of Perth, Western Australia, in the suburb of Rockingham. First opened in 1971 and formerly known as Rockingham City Shopping Centre, Rockingham Park Shopping Centre and Rockingham Shopping Centre, it has been redeveloped and expanded several times, and currently has a lettable floor area of 62,216 square metres (669,690 sq ft) incorporating 184 tenants. The major stores include Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Target, and Ace Cinemas. The last major redevelopment was completed in 2009. In 2016, the centre expanded its external dining and entertainment precinct on Syren Street to include a number of restaurants and bars surrounding the cinemas.The centre has 3,229 parking bays including around 300 undercover spaces, and lies between Council Avenue, Read Street, Chalgrove Avenue and Contest Parade.

Safety Bay Senior High School is a public co-educational high day school in the southern Perth suburb of Safety Bay, Western Australia, on Malibu Road, approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi) south of the Perth central business district. The school was established in 1978 and caters for students from Year 7 to Year 12. The school consists of a middle school for Years 7, 8 and 9 students and a senior school for Years 10, 11 and 12 students. Total enrolments at the school have declined from 1,177 in 2009, to 1,021 in 2010, 978 in 2011, 954 in 2012 and then increased to 1,000 in 2013.

Read Street is a main road and suburban distributor in Rockingham south of Perth, and runs through or alongside the suburbs of Rockingham, Cooloongup, Safety Bay and Waikiki, linking them to the Rockingham Shopping Centre. It ends in a roundabout at Safety Bay Road and becomes Warnbro Sound Avenue at that point. It is a dual carriageway for all of its length.

Rockingham General Hospital is a public hospital in Rockingham, Western Australia, in the south west of the Perth Metropolitan Region. The 18-hectare (44-acre) hospital was originally known as Rockingham Kwinana District Hospital, but was renamed in 2008 during a major redevelopment. The 229-bed hospital has an emergency department, operating theatres, and medical, surgical and paediatric wards. There are also aged care rehabilitation, intensive care, mental health, chemotherapy, and obstetrics units.

Hillman is an outer southern suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, located within the City of Rockingham. It is principally a suburb of residential dwellings, and contains Hillman Primary School. The suburb was created and named in 1970 after Alfred Hillman, a draughtsman, surveyor and explorer, who arrived in Western Australia in 1831 and made many initial surveys in the Rockingham area. On 7 May 2009, a boundary realignment of Cooloongup and Hillman approved by the Minister for Lands incorporated the Rockingham Train Station into Rockingham. A significant portion of the north and east portions of the suburb is incorporated into Rockingham Lakes Regional Park.

Waikiki is an outer southern suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. It adjoins and is closely associated with Safety Bay in the City of Rockingham. A prime landmark is the Waikiki Village shopping centre on Read Street, the main road linking Rockingham with Warnbro and Port Kennedy. The suburb is named after the Honolulu neighbourhood of Waikiki and was chosen by the developer of the area. The name was officially gazetted on 5 April 1974.

Warnbro railway station is a commuter railway station in Warnbro, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is on the Mandurah line, which is part of the Transperth commuter rail network, and is located immediately south-east of the interchange of Safety Bay Road and Ennis Avenue. It has two side platforms, linked by a pedestrian overpass accessed by stairs, a lift, and escalators. Services run every 10 minutes during peak, and every 15 minutes between peak. The journey to Perth Underground station is 47.5 kilometres (29.5 mi), and takes 38 minutes. The journey to Mandurah railway station is 23.3 kilometres (14.5 mi), and takes 13 minutes. The station has a bus interchange with seven bus stands and 12 regular bus routes. Known as Waikiki station during planning, the station was included in the South West Metropolitan Railway Master Plan, released in 1999. Originally, there was only going to be a single track railway south of Waikiki station, making the station the terminus for the majority of trains on the line. This was revised later to the entire Mandurah line being dual tracked. The station was designed by Jones Coulter Young Architects and Taylor Robinson Architects. Construction on the station by Doric Constructions and Brierty Contractors began in August 2005. The cost of the station was $15 million. Construction was completed in March 2007, and the station opened, along with the rest of the Mandurah line, on 23 December 2007.
