North Sichuan Road station

1933 (or "Old Millfun") is a complex of restaurants and shops in Hongkou District of Shanghai, China. The poured-concrete structures once housed the Shanghai Municipal Council Slaughterhouse, the largest slaughterhouse in Shanghai at the time.

North Sichuan Road (Chinese: 四川北路; pinyin: Sìchuān Běi Lù) is a shopping street in Hongkou District, Shanghai, China. From the Suzhou Creek in the south, the road crosses North Suzhou Road, Haining Road, and Hengbang Road among others, and connects with Shanyin Road in the north, giving the road an "S" shape. It joins Duolun Road, and runs to East Jiangwan Road then turns to the west, ending at Lu Xun Park.

The Astor House Hotel, known as the Pujiang Hotel (浦江饭店) in Chinese from 1959-2018, was described as once "one of the famous hotels of the world". Established in 1846 as Richards' Hotel and Restaurant (礼查饭店) on The Bund in Shanghai, it was located at 15 Huangpu Lu, Shanghai, near the confluence of the Huangpu River and the Suzhou Creek in the Hongkou District, near the northern end of the Waibaidu (Garden) Bridge, from 1858 on. The hotel closed on 1 January 2018, after being purchased by an undisclosed local business. It was converted to the China Securities Museum, which opened in December 2018.

The Consulate-General of the Russian Federation in Shanghai is the diplomatic mission of Russia in Hongkou District, Shanghai. It is located at 20 Huangpu Road on The Bund in Shanghai, next to the Garden Bridge near the convergence of the Suzhou and Huangpu rivers, and across the road from the Astor House Hotel. It was established in 1896 and has occupied the present building since 1917.The Russian Consulate School in Shanghai, an overseas primary school operated by the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry, is on the consulate grounds.

The General Post Office Building (Chinese: 上海邮政总局大楼) is the head post office of Shanghai, China. Built in 1924, the four-storey building is located at 395 Tiandong Road, at the north end of the Sichuan Road Bridge, on the banks of the Suzhou Creek.

The Gurdwara Shanghai is the site of a former Sikh gurdwara in the Hongkou District of Shanghai, China and is a registered cultural relic. It was built from 1907 to 1908 to meet the religious needs of Indian patrolmen and other Sikhs who had come over with the British. At the time of its construction, it was part of the Shanghai International Settlement, an area of Shanghai which was jointly administered by British and American authorities under a treaty with China. The site is now a residence and serves as a community health clinic.

The Former Consulate-General of the United Kingdom (英国驻上海总领事馆) building located in Shanghai, China, is one of the oldest buildings on the Bund. It is housed in a compound that housed a number of buildings used by the British Consulate-General. The building served as the home of the Consulate-General and British Supreme Court for China until 8 December 1941 when the Japanese occupied the Shanghai International Settlement at the beginning of the Pacific War. The British Supreme Court for China was abolished under the British–Chinese Treaty for the Relinquishment of Extra-Territorial Rights in China. After the war, the Consulate-General returned to the site and remained until 1949 when Britain withdrew its consular staff with the communist occupation of Shanghai. The consulate re-opened in 1954 and was closed again in 1967 during the Cultural Revolution.

Baoshan Road (simplified Chinese: 宝山路; traditional Chinese: 寶山路; pinyin: Bǎoshān Lù) is a station shared between Lines 3 and 4 on the Shanghai Metro. It is located in the former Zhabei District, now part of Jing'an District, and is the northernmost station shared between these lines. The station is located near the Shanghai Railway Museum, and opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwan Town, and Line 4 service began here on the final day of 2005.

Factory Shanghai (simplified Chinese: 意工场; traditional Chinese: 意工場; pinyin: yìgōngchǎng) is a stand-alone creative space located at the art deco Shanghai landmark 1933 creative complex in the Hongkou District of Shanghai, China about five minutes north of The Bund. The concept was created and produced by global digital marketing agency Profero. 意工场 Factory is made up of open inter-connected components which include creative workshops, galleries, exhibits, retail, members bar, lounge, restaurant, and website linking and engaging the world.

Broadway Mansions (simplified Chinese: 百老汇大厦; traditional Chinese: 百老匯大廈; pinyin: Bǎilǎohuì Dàshà, Shanghainese: Pahlowe Dusa) is a nineteen-floor Art Deco five-star hotel in Shanghai, China. and was for over five decades one of the primary symbols of Shanghai.Completed in 1934, the same year as the 19 feet taller Park Hotel. Upon its completion it became the tallest apartment building in Shanghai and remained so for several decades. Located near the confluence of Suzhou Creek and the Huangpu River, as well as the northern end of The Bund, it was built by the architectural and engineering firm of Palmer and Turner, and its completion in 1935 heralded the commencement of the high-rise building era in Asia. It was Shanghai's "closest approach to a modern American skyscraper." It commands possibly the best view of the Bund and Huangpu.Originally called "The Broadway Mansions", it was renamed "Shanghai Mansions" by the Shanghai Municipal Council in 1951, but reverted to its original name after China opened up again to the West. The Broadway Mansions has been owned and operated by the Shanghai Hengshan (Group) Holdings Company (上海市人民政府直属的上海衡山集团) since at least 1985.

Suzhou Creek (or Soochow Creek), also called the Wusong (Woosung) River, is a river that passes through the Shanghai city center. It is named after the neighboring city of Suzhou (Soochow), Jiangsu, the predominant settlement in this area prior to the rise of Shanghai as a metropolis.One of the principal outlets of Lake Tai in Wujiang District of Suzhou, Suzhou Creek is 125 km (78 mi) long, of which 54 km are within the administrative region of Shanghai and 24 km within the city's highly urbanized parts. It flows into the Huangpu River at the northern end of the Bund in Huangpu District.

Shanghai North railway station (Chinese: 上海北站), located on East Tianmu Road, was the main railway station of Shanghai during most of the 20th century. It was closed in 1987 and a replica of the original 1909 building, erected on the same site, is now the Shanghai Railway Museum. The station tracks are still in use as a coach yard. It was also known as the "沪宁铁路上海车站" referring to the Shanghai–Nanjing Railway, of which it was one terminal.
