Huangpu Park (simplified Chinese: 黄浦公园; traditional Chinese: 黃浦公園; pinyin: Huángpǔ Gōngyuán; Shanghainese: Waonphu Gonyu) is the name of the triangular stretch of green at the northern end of the Bund in Shanghai, the oldest and smallest park of the city. It is the site of the large Monument to the People's Heroes, commemorating those who helped to free China from foreign occupation, and of the Bund Historical Museum, which documents the history of the Bund in old photographs.

The Monument to the People's Heroes 上海市人民英雄纪念塔 is a concrete structure in Shanghai, China. The structure is located at the north end of the Bund, at the confluence of the Suzhou Creek and the Huangpu River, within the grounds of the Huangpu Park. The structure was built by the Shanghai municipal government in the 1993 to commemorate revolutionary martyrs, as well as those who have lost their lives fighting natural disasters. The structure stands 24 metres (79 ft) tall, and is built in the stylised shape of three rifles leaning against each other to show respect to those who fought for their homeland.

Suzhou Creek (or Soochow Creek), also called the Wusong (Woosung) River, is a river that passes through the Shanghai city center. It is named after the neighboring city of Suzhou (Soochow), Jiangsu, the predominant settlement in this area prior to the rise of Shanghai as a metropolis.One of the principal outlets of Lake Tai in Wujiang District of Suzhou, Suzhou Creek is 125 km (78 mi) long, of which 54 km are within the administrative region of Shanghai and 24 km within the city's highly urbanized parts. It flows into the Huangpu River at the northern end of the Bund in Huangpu District.

The Consulate-General of the Russian Federation in Shanghai is the diplomatic mission of Russia in Hongkou District, Shanghai. It is located at 20 Huangpu Road on The Bund in Shanghai, next to the Garden Bridge near the convergence of the Suzhou and Huangpu rivers, and across the road from the Astor House Hotel. It was established in 1896 and has occupied the present building since 1917.The Russian Consulate School in Shanghai, an overseas primary school operated by the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry, is on the consulate grounds.

The Astor House Hotel, known as the Pujiang Hotel (浦江饭店) in Chinese from 1959-2018, was described as once "one of the famous hotels of the world". Established in 1846 as Richards' Hotel and Restaurant (礼查饭店) on The Bund in Shanghai, it was located at 15 Huangpu Lu, Shanghai, near the confluence of the Huangpu River and the Suzhou Creek in the Hongkou District, near the northern end of the Waibaidu (Garden) Bridge, from 1858 on. The hotel closed on 1 January 2018, after being purchased by an undisclosed local business. It was converted to the China Securities Museum, which opened in December 2018.

The Peninsula Shanghai is a luxury hotel among The Peninsula Hotel Group. It was ranked the No. 8 hotel in the world by Travel + Leisure in 2015. The Peninsula Shanghai opened in 2009 and is The Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels second hotel in Mainland China. Its address is No.32 Zhongshan East First Road, Shanghai 200002, China.

The Former Consulate-General of the United Kingdom (英国驻上海总领事馆) building located in Shanghai, China, is one of the oldest buildings on the Bund. It is housed in a compound that housed a number of buildings used by the British Consulate-General. The building served as the home of the Consulate-General and British Supreme Court for China until 8 December 1941 when the Japanese occupied the Shanghai International Settlement at the beginning of the Pacific War. The British Supreme Court for China was abolished under the British–Chinese Treaty for the Relinquishment of Extra-Territorial Rights in China. After the war, the Consulate-General returned to the site and remained until 1949 when Britain withdrew its consular staff with the communist occupation of Shanghai. The consulate re-opened in 1954 and was closed again in 1967 during the Cultural Revolution.

The Rockbund Art Museum (RAM, simplified Chinese: 上海外滩美术馆; traditional Chinese: 上海外灘美術館; pinyin: Shànghǎi Wàitān Měishùguǎn; lit. 'Shanghai Bund Art Museum') is a contemporary art museum in central Shanghai. The museum is on Huqiu Road, in the former Royal Asiatic Society building completed in 1933 near The Bund waterfront. The museum is dedicated to being an influential, innovative, sustainable organization devoted to the promotion of projects within the field of international contemporary art. There are no permanent collections. Featured Chinese artists have included Cai Guo-Qiang and Zeng Fanzhi.

The Beth Aharon Synagogue (Hebrew for "House of Aharon") was a Sephardi synagogue in Shanghai, China, built in 1927 by the prominent businessman Silas Aaron Hardoon in memory of his father Aaron. During World War II, the synagogue provided refuge for the Mirrer yeshiva of Poland, the only Eastern European yeshiva to survive the Holocaust intact. After the establishment of the People's Republic of China, it was used by the Wenhui Bao newspaper and as a factory during the Cultural Revolution. It was demolished in 1985.

The Peace Hotel (Chinese: 和平饭店, pinyin: Hépíng Fàndiàn, Shanghainese: Wubin Vaedi) is a hotel on The Bund in Shanghai, China, which overlooks the surrounding areas. The hotel has two different buildings. The Sassoon House, originally housed the Cathay Hotel and is today the Fairmont Peace Hotel run by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts of Canada. The South Building was built as the Palace Hotel and is today a residence and studio for artists, known as The Swatch Art Peace Hotel. The two buildings both face the Bund, but are divided by Nanjing Road.
