Yehi'am Fortress National Park

Khirbat Jiddin (Arabic: خربة جدين), known in the Kingdom of Jerusalem as Judin, was an Ottoman fortress in the western Upper Galilee, originally built by the Teutonic Order after 1220 as a crusader castle, 16 km northeast of the city of Acre, which at the time was the capital of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. The castle was destroyed by the Mamluk sultan Baibars sometime between 1268-1271 and lay in ruins until being rebuilt and expanded by the Arab ruler Zahir al-Umar as Qal'at Jiddin (Arabic: قلعة جدين, lit. 'castle of Jiddin') in the 1760s, only to be destroyed again around 1775 by Jazzar Pasha. The ruined fortress, known as Khirbat Jiddin, was later inhabited by the al-Suwaytat Bedouin tribe.According to a 1945 census, there were 1500 Muslims living in the area. Khirbat Jiddin land totaled 7,587 dunums, of which however all but 34 were officially listed as non-cultivable; 4,238 were owned by Arabs and 3,349 dunums owned by Jews. Kibbutz Yehiam was established in the area in 1946.Today the remains of the castle are the central part of Yehi'am Fortress National Park.

Yehi'am (Hebrew: יְחִיעָם) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located at the western Upper Galilee, eight miles east of the coastal town of Nahariya and 14 miles south-east of the border with Lebanon it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Asher Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 722. It is located around 365 meters above sea level Yehiam is situated next to the ruins of the Ottoman-era castle of Jiddin, built on top of the 13th-century Crusader castle of Judin.

Ga'aton (Hebrew: גַּעְתּוֹן) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in the western Galilee, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Asher Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 699.

Ein Ya'akov (Hebrew: עֵין יַעֲקֹב, lit. 'Jacob's spring') is a moshav in northern Israel. Located near Ma'alot-Tarshiha, it falls under the jurisdiction of Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,215.

Yanuh-Jat (Arabic: يانوح-جت, Hebrew: יָנוּחַ־גַ׳תּ) is an Israeli Druze village and local council in the Northern District of Israel, northeast of Acre, consisting of the villages of Yanuh and Jat, which merged in 1990. In 2021 it had a population of 6,851, all members of the Druze community.

Klil (Hebrew: כְּלִיל) is an ecological community settlement in northern Israel. Located in the Western Galilee, southeast of Nahariya between Yanuh-Jat and Kafr Yasif, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Asher Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 829.

Gita (Hebrew: גִּתָּה) is a communal settlement in northern Israel. Located near Ma'alot-Tarshiha, Jat and Yirka, it falls under the jurisdiction of Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 300.

Yarka, officially Yirka (Hebrew: יִרְכָּא, Arabic: يركا), is an Israeli Druze village and local council in the Northern District of Israel. In 2019 it had a population of 17,171, 98.8% of them members of the Druze community, with a small Muslim (1.0%) and Christian (0.1%) minorities.

Me'ona (Hebrew: מְעוֹנָה, lit. 'Refuge place') is a moshav in northern Israel. Located between Ma'alot-Tarshiha and Nahariya, it falls under the jurisdiction of Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 974.

Mitzpe Hila (Hebrew: מִצְפֵּה הִלָּה, lit. Hila Lookout) or simply Hila is a community settlement in northern Israel. Located in the western Galilee hills near the Lebanese border, it falls under the jurisdiction of Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 562.

Mi'ilya (Arabic: معليا, Hebrew: מִעִלְיָא) is an Arab local council in the western Galilee in the Northern District of Israel. Its name during the Kingdom of Jerusalem era in Galilee was Castellum Regis. In 2021 it had a population of 3,267, all of whom are Melkite Greek Catholics. The town is located immediately to the northwest of Ma'alot-Tarshiha.

Neve Ziv (Hebrew: נְוֵה זִיו, lit. Brightness Home), also known as Ziv HaGalil (Hebrew: זִיו הַגָּלִיל, lit. Brightness of the Galilee) is a community settlement in northern Israel. Located east of Nahariya, it falls under the jurisdiction of Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,012.
