Main Street Historic District (Millerton, New York)

The Millerton station is a former New York Central Railroad (NYC) station on the NYC's Harlem Division that served the residents of Millerton, New York.

Millerton is a village in Dutchess County, New York, United States with a population of 903 at the 2020 census. The village was named after Sidney Miller, a rail contractor who helped bring the railroad to that area. Millerton is part of the Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown Metropolitan Statistical Area of New York as well as the larger New York-Newark-Bridgeport NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area. Millerton was named one of "The Ten Coolest Small Towns in America" by Frommer's Budget Travel Magazine in 2007, and has been featured in the New York Times article "Williamsburg on the Hudson".Millerton is within the town of North East and is near Taconic State Park and the Connecticut border.

The Chapel of St. Patrick was a mission church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located in Millerton, Dutchess County, New York. It was founded in 1867. St. Patrick's was a mission church of Immaculate Conception in Amenia, NY. In 1864, Father John Arsenigo, pastor at Croton Falls would say Mass in the homes around Millerton. It was he who purchased the land and started to build the churches in Amenia and Millerton. Father Arsenigo was succeeded by Father Tandy, who in turn was succeeded by Father F.E. Lavelle. Father Lavelle inherited responsibility for the mission and its $2,000 debt. The debt proved a severe burden for the mission due to the closing of the neighboring mines and furnaces. A substantial portion of the funds were raised by Martin Griffith, who around 1905 penned polite notes to county officials and acquaintances. Effective November 30, 2017 St. Patrick's Chapel was desacralized for "profane but not sordid use".

North East is a town in Dutchess County, New York, United States. The population was 3,031 at the 2020 census. The town is in the northeastern corner of the county. U.S. Route 44 crosses the town.

WHDD (1020 AM; "Robin Hood Radio") is a radio station licensed to serve Sharon, Connecticut. WHDD airs a public radio format during daylight hours, but has to sign off at night to protect KDKA at Pittsburgh. The station's programming is also heard on WHDD-FM (91.9) in Sharon, and translator W248CZ (97.5 FM) in Kent.

The Ezra Clark House is located on Mill Road in the Town of North East, New York, United States. It is a brick house built in the late 18th century. It is one of the oldest farmhouses in the town, and one of the few built of brick. In 1985 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Eight years later, when the Coleman Station Historic District was created and listed on the Register, it was further recognized as a contributing property.

The Thomas N. Wheeler Farm is located on Indian Lake Road (Dutchess County Route 61) in the town of North East, New York, United States, south of the village of Millerton. It is a frame house built at the beginning of the 19th century in the Federal style. It is one of the earliest surviving intact farmsteads in the Coleman Station Historic District. In 1993, when the district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the house and another building on the property were recognized as contributing properties to its historic character. Seven years later it was listed on the Register in its own right.

The Mount Riga station was a former New York Central Railroad station in North East, New York. The station also served nearby Ancram, New York.

Indian Mountain School is an independent coeducational boarding and day school for children grades pre-K through 9, located on two campuses in Lakeville, Connecticut, United States. The school consists of Lower and Upper campus, with Lower Campus being for children in primary school (pre-k to fourth), while the Upper Campus is home to students grades 5 through 9. However, boarding is only available for students in grades six to nine. Indian Mountain School is often abbreviated as IMS.

The Dakin-Coleman Farm is located on Coleman Station Road (Dutchess County Route 58) in the Town of North East, New York, United States. Its large wooden farmhouse was built shortly before the Revolution. At one point it was legally divided between two heirs of its original builder. In the late 19th century renovations mostly to the interior added some Victorian aspects to it. It has remained largely intact since then, and is the oldest house in the hamlet of Coleman Station. It has been a contributing property to the Coleman Station Historic District since it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 22, 1993, and was listed in its own right on November 22, 2000.
