Fenghuang Xincun station

Shayuan Station (Chinese: 沙园站) is an interchange station of Guangzhou Metro Line 8 and Guangfo Line. It is located at the underground of the junction of Rongjing Road and Gongye Avenue North in Haizhu District. It was put into service on November 3, 2010. The Guangfo Line service has entered operations on December 28, 2015.

The Battle of Guangzhou was an internal conflict within the National Revolutionary Army in the aftermath of Chiang Kai-shek's successes in the Northern Expedition. It occurred shortly after the Chinese Communist Party-led Guangzhou Uprising, which was crushed by Li Jishen's opponent Zhang Fakui. On December 28, 1927, Li Jishen's forces were able to capture Guangzhou, and Miao Peinan retreated to Huizhou. On December 29, 1927, local leader Li Fulin, an opponent of Li Jishen, was removed from office and replaced with Deng Yanhua.

The Hoi Tong Monastery, also known by many other names, is a Buddhist temple and monastery on Henan Island in Guangzhou, China. It shares its grounds with the city's Haichuang Park.

Shaji (Chinese: 沙基; pinyin: Shājī; Jyutping: saa1gei1, also romanized as Shakee and Shakei) is an area adjacent to Yanjiang West Road (沿江西路) in the Liwan District of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It lies opposite Shamian Island where on 23 June 1925, there was a massacre in which Chinese demonstrators and one French merchant died in an exchange of fire between British and French marines guarding the foreign concessions and cadets from the Whampoa Military Academy.

Nanfang Building (Chinese: 南方大厦) is a historic high-rise building in Guangzhou, China. At the time of its completion in 1922, it was the tallest building in the country. Since then, it has served as offices, department stores, electronics markets, and hotels.

The Hedong Bridge is a cable stayed bridge located in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. Opened in 1998, it has a main span of 360 metres (1,180 ft). The bridge carries traffic between Liwan District, west of the river and Haizhu District to the east.The bridge's daily traffic is 130,000 cars.In 2021, construction work on the bridge consisted in the replacement of 144 stay cables, the layout of 40,000 square meters of noise-reducing pavement, and the application of anti-corrosion coating.

The Canton Hospital (廣州博濟醫院) or Ophthalmic Hospital in Canton, also known as the Canton Pok Tsai Hospital, was founded by Protestant medical missionary Peter Parker in Canton, China on November 4, 1835. Known as Sun Yet Sen Memorial Hospital and Second Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yet Sen University, it treated thousands of patients in need, became the center for the Medical Missionary Society in China, and still exists today as one of the most prestigious ophthalmic institutes in the world.

The Oi Kwan Hotel (Chinese: 爱群大酒店) is a hotel in Art Deco style in Guangzhou, China. At 64 metres tall with 15 floors, it surpassed the neighbouring Nanfang Building to become the tallest building in the city from upon its completion in 1937 to 1967.The hotel has a revolving restaurant on the top floor. This was the first one in the city.

The Thirteen Factories, also known as the Canton Factories, was a neighbourhood along the Pearl River in southwestern Guangzhou (Canton) in the Qing Empire from c. 1684 to 1856 around modern day Xiguan, in Guangzhou's Liwan District. These warehouses and stores were the principal and sole legal site of most Western trade with China from 1757 to 1842. The factories were destroyed by fire in 1822 by accident, in 1841 amid the First Opium War, and in 1856 at the onset of the Second Opium War. The factories' importance diminished after the opening of the treaty ports and the end of the Canton System under the terms of the 1842 Anglo-Chinese Treaty of Nanking. After the Second Opium War, the factories were not rebuilt at their former site south of Guangzhou's old walled city but moved, first to Henan Island across the Pearl River and then to Shamian Island south of Guangzhou's western suburbs. Their former site is now part of Guangzhou Cultural Park.

Cultural Park station (simplified Chinese: 文化公园站; traditional Chinese: 文化公園站; pinyin: Wénhuà Gōngyuán zhàn) is an interchange station between Line 6 and Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro. It is located underground in the Liwan District and started operation on 28 December 2013.

Tongfuxi Station (Chinese: 同福西站; pinyin: Tóngfúxī Zhàn; lit. 'Tongfu West station') is a station on Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro, between Cultural Park station and Fenghuang Xincun station. It is located underground in the Haizhu District and started operation on 28 December 2019.

Julong Station (Chinese: 聚龙站; pinyin: Jùlóng Zhàn) is a station of Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro. It is located underground in the Liwan District and started operation on 26 November 2020. The station has an underground island platform. Platform 1 is for trains towards Jiaoxin, whilst platform 2 is for trains towards Wanshengwei. There are 3 exits, lettered A, B and D. Exits A & B are accessible. Exit A is located on Dekang Road, B & D are on Shicha Road.
