Warrensburg Mills Historic District is a national historic district located at Warrensburg, Warren County, New York. It includes 58 contributing buildings and four contributing structures. It encompasses a number of mill complexes and homes related to the development of Warrensburg. It includes a mill dam, Emerson Sawmill (ca. 1820), grist mill, early shirt factory (1878), later shirt factory (1898), office building (1855), coal storage shed (ca. 1920), grain warehouses, and 51 wood residences and one brick residence. Also within the district are the Osborne Bridge (ca. 1930), and Woolen Mill Bridge (ca. 1895, constructed by Croton Bridge Builders).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

It is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area.Warrensburg is located on U.S. Route 9, on the Schroon River, east of the Hudson River, and west of Interstate 87 (The Northway). The CDP is entirely within the town of Warrensburg. According to the 2000 United States Census, the CDP comprises less than one-fifth of the town's total area, yet has about 75% of the town's population. The CDP's population density is more than fourteen times that of the town outside the CDP. Much of the town's historic core is within the Hamlet of Warrensburgh Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. Also listed on the National Register of Historic Places are the Merrill MaGee House, Mixter Blacksmith Shop, and Warrensburg Mills Historic District.

The Merrill-Magee House, also known as The Merrill Magee Inn, is a historic home located at Warrensburg, Warren County, New York. It was built in three phases: the original 1+1⁄2-story, Greek Revival–style farmhouse built about 1835; the 2-story main block with giant portico added about 1855; and the 1911 addition of a 1+1⁄2-story farmhouse, originally built in 1815, attached to the west end of the original dwelling. Also in 1911, a shed-roofed frame kitchen was added. Also on the property are a woodshed (c. 1890), ice house (c. 1875), smokehouse (c. 1855), carriage barn (c. 1875), garage / servant's quarters (c. 1925), swimming pool (1927–28), chicken coop (c. 1910), and the landscaping. It has been used as a restaurant and inn since the 1980s.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Hamlet of Warrensburgh Historic District is a national historic district located at Warrensburg, Warren County, New York. It includes 351 contributing buildings, three contributing sites, and five contributing structures. It encompasses the historic commercial core on the north side of the Schroon River and historic industrial core on the south side of the river of the hamlet of Warrensburgh. It includes more high styled residences and notable civic and religious properties on the north side and vernacular residences on the south side. Notable commercial buildings include the Woodward Block (ca. 1860), Wills Block (ca. 1865), bank building at 138 Main Street (ca. 1927), and the former Sturdevan's Bakery (ca. 1840). Three historic churches within the district are the Church of the Holy Cross (1864), First Methodist Church (1904), and United Presbyterian Church (1840). Civic buildings located within the district are the Richards Library (1900) and Warrensburgh Central School (1942). In addition, the Floyd Bennett Park and Bandstand (1930–31), named for Warrensburg native Floyd Bennett, is within the district. The St. Cecelia's Cemetery and Warrensburgh Cemetery are also within the district boundaries. Located within the district is the separately listed Merrill MaGee House and Warrensburg Mills Historic District.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Warrensburg Hydroelectric Dam is a run-of-the-river hydroelectric generation plant located on the Schroon River in Warrensburg, NY. According to the National Inventory of Dams (NID), the dam was completed in 1909, designed by Besha Engineering, and modified in the year 1989. Currently the dam is owned and operated by the Quebec-based Boralex power company, and has a capacity of 3 megawatts, or enough energy to power 3,000 homes. The dam's reservoir serves as Warrensburg's boat launch and recreational area.

The northern portion of the Hudson River valley in Upstate New York, generally that region extending from the first town below the headwaters of the Hudson River at North River to the last substantive waterfall preventing the passage of vessels at Fort Edward. Downstream from Fort Edward, northbound boat traffic exits the Hudson River onto the Champlain Canal. The largest population center in the Upper Hudson River Valley is that of Glens Falls. Other towns include North Creek, Hadley, Lake Luzerne, Corinth, and Hudson Falls. The region is characterized by a series of small glens and valleys surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains on all sides. At Corinth the river deepens and widens as it approaches the "big bend" where Interstate 87 crosses near Glens Falls.

The Schroon River ( SKROON) is a 67.7-mile-long (109.0 km) tributary of the Hudson River in the southern Adirondack Mountains of New York, beginning at the confluence of Crowfoot Brook and New Pond Brook near Underwood, and terminating at the Hudson in Warrensburg. Its watershed is entirely within the Adirondack Park. The river runs through the towns of North Hudson, Schroon, Chester, Bolton, and Warrensburg. Interstate 87, the Adirondack Northway, follows the Schroon River valley from Warrensburg to Underwood. U.S. Route 9 takes a parallel course from Warrensburg to Schroon Lake, then follows the river through Underwood.

The Thurman Station Bridge is a two–lane bridge that carries NY 418 across the Hudson River connecting Thurman, New York with Warrensburg, New York. It was built in 1941.

Prospect Mountain is a mountain located in the town of Lake George in Warren County, New York. New York State Route 917A, an unsigned reference route also known as Prospect Mountain Veterans Memorial Highway, is a toll road maintained by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and is the highway by which one reaches the summit at 5.88 miles (9.46 km), where a view for one hundred miles (160 km) can be seen.

WFFG-FM (100.3 MHz), known as "Froggy 100.3", is a country music radio station licensed to Warrensburg, New York, and is owned by Pamal Broadcasting. The radio studios and offices are on Everts Avenue in Queensbury, New York. WFFG-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 1,450 watts. Its transmitter is near Black Spruce Mountain in the town of Warrensburg, Warren County, New York, near the Adirondack Northway. The tower is shared with WCKM-FM and WCQL. Thanks to its tall tower, WFFG-FM's signal can be heard as far south as southern Albany and Rensselaer counties, and as far north as Schroon Lake and Elizabethtown.
