Dairycoates is an area of Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, a former hamlet. The area was formerly the site of a major North Eastern Railway engine shed, Dairycoates Engine Shed (est.1863, closed 1970). Most of the Dairycoates area is now in industrial use, including the Brighton Street Industrial Estate, located on former rail use land.

Boothferry Park was a football stadium in Hull, England, which was home to Hull City A.F.C. from 1946 until 2002, when they moved to the KC Stadium. In later years, financial constraints forced Hull City to allow Kwik Save and Iceland supermarkets to embed themselves into the stadium's structure. Parts of the ground were demolished in early 2008, more than five years after the last game was played there, and the remainder in 2011.

Boothferry Park Halt railway station opened on 6 January 1951 on an embankment of the former Hull and Barnsley Railway to serve the Boothferry Park football stadium which had opened in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire in August 1946.The station was first used for a match against Everton when six trains ran the football service between Paragon Station, Hull's Paragon railway station and Boothferry Park. The station closed in 1986 for safety reasons.The station was a single platform, 200 yards (180 m) long. It was removed in October 2007 by Network Rail during engineering work.Boothferry Park Halt railway station was one of several in England built to provide a dedicated match-day service to a football ground; others included Manchester United Football Ground, Watford Stadium Halt, Ramsline Halt in Derby, and the first Wembley Stadium station.

Pickering Park is a park in the western suburbs of Kingston upon Hull, on the north side of Hessle Road, near Anlaby, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.

Eastfield Primary School is a state-funded primary school in Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, for pupils aged 4 to 11. In 2014, plans were laid out for the school to be demolished in place of a newer building. Construction work began on 19 January 2015.

East Ella is a small suburb to the west of the Eastern England city of Kingston upon Hull. East Ella was an area of common land to the east of the nearby village of Anlaby and the west of Hull.

The Carnegie Heritage Centre is a grade II listed building in Hull, England, which was designed as a Carnegie library.Originally known as the Carnegie Free Library, the building opened in 1905 as Hull's fifth branch library. Andrew Carnegie donated £3,000 towards its construction. It is situated at the gates of West Park, and is unusual among Carnegie libraries for its half-timbered construction (although not unique, there is a similar building in Stratford-upon-Avon). It was used as a public library until 2003. Library services were then provided in a Learning Centre within the adjacent KC Stadium, and the former library had various uses and was then left empty. The Carnegie Heritage Action Team was created in 2006 to rescue the building and create a centre for local and family history resources. The centre opened in August 2008, and is now run by the Carnegie Heritage Centre ltd. The centre received material from the local history collections of Hull College when the college's local history unit closed down, and the East Yorkshire Family History Society rents space in the centre to house its research material. A bindery operates from the premises, and a variety of local history events take place including WEA courses in local history.

The Boulevard academy is a coeducational secondary school located in Kingston upon Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England.It opened as a free school in September 2013, and was rated as 'outstanding' by Ofsted in 2015.

The Boulevard was a multi-purpose stadium in Hull, England. The venue was saved from demolition and reopened on 25 October 2007 as the home of greyhound racing in the city. There were plans for it to be used as a community stadium hosting rugby league matches and speedway, but it eventually closed and was demolished in August 2010.

Lagoon Hull is a proposed £1.5 billion development on the Humber Estuary foreshore between Hessle and Kingston upon Hull, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The proposed lagoon would be formed from a stone causeway and will provide an outer lock gate in the Humber Estuary which would effectively dam the River Hull, making it a non-tidal waterway. The 11-kilometre (6.8 mi) long causeway would also provide a dual carriageway from the A63 at Hessle which would run to Hull Docks, taking traffic away from the city centre. The scheme is being vaunted as one that will prevent future flooding in Hull when sea levels rise, and contribute to less flooding in the wider Humber Estuary. An additional part of the scheme is to create a larger dock area which is protected from wave and tidal action, providing a safe haven for shipping.

The Sports Arena also known as the Tigers Trust Arena (formerly the Airco Arena the Bonus Arena, Gemtec Arena and the Vulcan Arena) is a sports centre located next to the MKM Stadium in Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The arena was built at the same time as the KC Stadium and is a multisport arena used by many people in and around Hull. It is used by many of the city's schools, colleges and universities and is a popular place for association football or other sport tournaments to take place, including The Tigers 5-A-Side Tournament. It is also used for many other events such as Fares and Model Shows such as the Fairground model show. Until 2012 it was also the home for the NBL Division 4 basketball team, the Hull Wasps. However, the Wasps moved to the Ennerdale Lesure Centre before the 2012–13 season citing the increase charges for use of the Sports Arena as the main reason. The 2013–14 season will see the return of NBL basketball to the Sports Arena as the home the Kingston Panthers. It is also an accredited Handball facility.The main hall of the arena is 54 metres (177 ft) x 33 metres (108 ft) with a height of 9 metres (30 ft).The venue is frequently used for shows by acclaimed wrestling promotion New Generation Wrestling.
