Yardley Chase

Denton is a small village and civil parish on the A428 road about 6 miles (10 km) south-east of Northampton. It has a pub, the Red Lion, a village hall, a Church of England parish church and a primary school. The villages name probably means, 'farm/settlement connected with Dod(d)a/Dud(d)a'.The 2001 Census recorded the parish population as 767, decreasing to 739 at the 2011 census before increasing to 744 in the 2021 census.

Piddington was a railway station on the former Bedford to Northampton Line. Despite its name, the station was located close to the village of Horton in Northamptonshire, approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) from the village of Piddington.

Horton Rounds is a modernist house in the village of Horton, Northamptonshire. The house was built in 1966 by A. A. J. Marshman, a senior partner in Marshman, Warren and Taylor, a regional architectural practice.In September 2012 the house was listed at Grade II on the National Heritage List for England. In the designation it was stated that, "Along with Peter Lambert Gibbs's own house of 1965, Fernhill in Ashdown Forest, and Robert Harvey's houses in Warwickshire, Horton Rounds is one of the best in the country of a small group of post-war houses clearly influenced by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright."

Denton Road, also known as Horton House Cricket Club Ground, is a cricket ground in Horton, Northamptonshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1966, when the Northamptonshire Second XI played the Middlesex Second XI. From 1966 to 1984, the ground hosted 20 Second XI Championship matches for the Northamptonshire Second XI. In 1976, the ground held its first List-A match when Northamptonshire played Essex in the Benson and Hedges Cup. The ground held its second and final List-A match in 1977, which saw Northamptonshire play Minor Counties East in the Benson and Hedges Cup.In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Horton House Cricket Club.

Horton is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Hackleton, in the West Northamptonshire district, in the ceremonial county of Northamptonshire, England. The village manor, Horton Hall, now demolished, was home to the first governor of the Bank of England and William Parr, 1st Baron Parr of Horton. Castle Ashby is a village and civil parish in the West Northamptonshire unitary authority area of Northamptonshire, England. At the 2011 Census, the population of the parish (including Chadstone) was 111.Historically, the village was set up to service the needs of Castle Ashby House, the seat of the Marquess of Northampton. The village has one small pub-hotel, The Falcon. The village contains many houses rebuilt from the 1860s onwards. These include work by the architect E.F. Law of Northampton, whose work can also be seen nearby at Horton Church. The castle is the result of a licence obtained in 1306, for Walter Langton, Bishop of Coventry, to castellate his mansion in the village of Ashby. The village's name means 'Ash-tree farm/settlement'. There was a castle here, later replaced by the Elizabethan mansion.

Castle Ashby, often Castle Ashby House (to differentiate it from the parish) is a country house at Castle Ashby, Northamptonshire, England. It is one of the seats of the Marquess of Northampton. The house, church, formal gardens and landscaped park are Grade I listed. The original castle, a manor house, came about as the result of a licence obtained in 1306 by Walter Langton, Bishop of Coventry, to castellate his mansion in the village of Ashby. Sir Gerard Braybroke was at one time of Castle Ashby Manor. It is a leading example of the Elizabethan prodigy house, with a Palladian section closing the front courtyard added in the 18th century.
