The Cypress Waters station is a future train station along the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Silver Line. The station will be located at 445 E Belt Line Road in Dallas, Texas. The station will serve the newly planned Cypress Waters community to the south. The station was previously expected to open in 2024, but has been delayed with the Silver Line until late 2025 to mid-2026.

North Lake is a reservoir located in Dallas, Texas, 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Coppell. The Cypress Waters business and residential development is on its southern side.

Delta Air Lines Flight 191 was a regularly scheduled Delta Air Lines domestic service from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Los Angeles with an intermediate stop at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). On August 2, 1985, the Lockheed L-1011 TriStar operating Flight 191 encountered a microburst while on approach to land at DFW. The aircraft impacted ground over one mile (1.6 km) short of the runway, struck a car near the airport, collided with two water tanks, and disintegrated. 137 people died and 25 others were injured in the crash. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) determined that the crash resulted from the flight crew's decision to fly through a thunderstorm, the lack of procedures or training to avoid or escape microbursts, and the lack of hazard information on wind shear. Forecasts of microbursts improved in the following years; as of 2023 this was the last microburst crash in the US.

Cowboy Field (a.k.a. "The Snake Pit") at the Coppell ISD Sports Complex is located in Coppell, Texas. It has been the home of the TCL Coppell Copperheads since 2004. It is also the home of the Coppell High School Cowboys baseball team.

Coppell High School is a public high school located in Coppell, Texas. It is part of the Coppell Independent School District located in extreme northwest Dallas County. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

Coppell ( kə-PEL) is a city in the northwest corner of Dallas County in the U.S. state of Texas. It is a suburb of Dallas and a bedroom community in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Its population was 42,983 at the 2020 census. A small area in the far northern portion of the city extends into neighboring Denton County.

New Tech High @ Coppell (NTH@C) is a secondary high school located in Coppell, Texas, United States, a suburb of Dallas. It is the second high school in the Coppell Independent School District. It is part of the New Tech Network which nationwide has 86 "New Tech" schools. The school had its first senior class in 2011 and has a current enrollment of 382 students with 33 staff members. The school is also toured often by school districts and politicians interested in New Tech. It also has the shortest elapsed time in between when it starts and ends.

B. H. Carroll Theological Institute is an accredited Christian Baptist institution in Irving, Texas with multiple sources of funding and a self-perpetuating board of governors. It is named after Benajah Harvey Carroll and teaches Baptist principles and practices. It operates in cooperation primarily with Baptist churches, and also cooperates with other Great Commission Christians. The institution offers classes in both conventional classroom settings and by innovative means. It trains students in "“teaching churches” located in multiple Texas cities, as well as through interactive lessons taught over the Internet", with 20 such "teaching churches" in operation throughout Texas as of November 2006. The school plans to focus on the use of distance education to make it easier for students to obtain theological education. As of 2006, the school's second year of operation, B. H. Carroll Theological Institute had 300 students taking courses and an additional 300 students auditing courses. Bruce Corley was Carroll's first president; Gene Wilkes is Carroll's second president.In January 2007, the institute was certified to grant degrees by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and was later exempted from such certification through a ruling of the Texas State Supreme Court. In late February 2012, B. H. Carroll Theological Institute received accreditation status from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). Carroll is listed among Institutions and Programs accredited by recognized U.S. Accrediting Organizations by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation(CHEA). In 2017, Carroll received accreditation as a member of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS).

Valley Ranch is a master-planned development in the Dallas, Texas suburb of Irving. The name comes from the fact that the land it sits upon was formerly a working cattle ranch and is located below a large ridge, and thus resembles a valley.

Grapevine Mills is a shopping mall in Grapevine, Texas, United States, in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Grapevine Mills currently totals over 1,781,628 square feet (165,518.7 square meters) in size. Grapevine Mills opened on October 30, 1997, and is one of the largest malls owned by The Mills platform of Simon Property Group. The mall features over 20 anchors and over 200 specialty retailers, as well as a variety of theme restaurants, casual dining and cutting-edge entertainment venues. Grapevine Mills is located within a major retail area just east of Lake Grapevine and two miles (3km) north of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. It has a racetrack floor plan and the AMC Dine-In Grapevine Mills 30.It is the second-largest mall in Tarrant County, Texas, with North East Mall being largest.

DFW Airport Terminal A is a transit station located at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. It offers service on the DART Orange Line light rail service. It is the connection point to the TEXRail system and a future connection to the DART Silver Line service. The light rail station opened on August 18, 2014, and it serves as the northwestern terminus of the Orange Line. It is located between International Parkway and North Service Road, in the area between Terminals A and B. A covered walkway connects the station with the lower level of Terminal A at Door A10 (named after nearby Gate A10).With the opening of DFW Airport Terminal B station on January 10, 2019, a second covered walkway was built that connects the two stations together making it possible for passengers to transfer between DART or TEXRail or directly access Terminal B.Passengers can access all other terminals using the SkyLink train inside the secured area of the airport, or the Terminal Link bus system outside of the secured area. The station offers connections to Trinity Metro route 31, the TRE Link, which boards on the arrivals level of Terminal B and offers service to CentrePort/DFW Airport station on the Trinity Railway Express commuter rail line. FlixBus intercity coaches also board from the covered walkway between this station and the Terminal B station.
