The Alaska Baptist Convention (ABC) is an autonomous association of Baptist churches located in the U.S. state of Alaska. It is one of the state conventions associated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The first Southern Baptist church in Alaska was established in 1943, with just 17 members, and the ABC was formed in 1946. Today, Alaskan Southern Baptists are the largest Protestant denomination in Alaska with over 20,000 members.

The Dimond Center is a regional shopping mall in Anchorage, Alaska, United States, located on the southwest corner of East Dimond Boulevard and the Old Seward Highway in south Anchorage. This is the largest enclosed mall in the state of Alaska, though the open-air Tikahtnu Commons in NE Anchorage has a greater GLA. The 728,000 square feet (67,600 m2) mall is anchored by Best Buy, Dave & Buster's and a 9-screen Regal Cinemas theater. In total the Dimond Center contains over 200 stores, restaurants and services, including a six-story office tower at the mall's southeast corner. The lower level in the office tower also contains a small food court, a bowling alley, and a health club, all arrayed around an ice skating rink. The office tower is home to the Anchorage branch of iHeartMedia (formerly Clear Channel Radio), including the studios of radio stations KASH, KBFX, KENI, KGOT, KTZN and KYMG.

The Islamic Community Center of Anchorage Alaska (ICCAA) is an Islamic center and mosque in Anchorage, Alaska. According to its site, the congregation includes Muslims from Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as converted native Alaskans. The mosque is intended to serve Anchorage's approximately 3,000 diverse Muslims in a 15,000-square-foot-facility (1,400 m2).The organization is constructing Alaska's first mosque, which will be the third northernmost mosque in North America. It is located at Spring Street and E. 80th Avenue in Anchorage, Alaska.Ground was broken in October 2010 for the construction of the mosque, school, and Islamic center.

KTMB (102.1 MHz, "Classic Hits 102.1") is a commercial FM radio station licensed in Anchorage, Alaska, United States. The station is owned by Ohana Media and broadcasts a classic hits format. KTMB's studios are located in Downtown Anchorage and its transmitter is in the city's Bayshore district. It is unique among Anchorage radio stations in that it has no live disc jockeys and guarantees to tell listeners the name and artist of every song played.

Polaris K-12 School is a lottery-entry magnet school serving grades Kindergarten through 12th grade in Anchorage, Alaska. It serves the Anchorage School District.

KBRJ is a commercial country music radio station in Anchorage, Alaska, broadcasting on 104.1 FM. Owned by Alpha Media LLC, its studios are located in Anchorage (two blocks west of Dimond Center), and its transmitter is in the Bayshore neighborhood in South Anchorage.

South Anchorage High School is a public high school that serves grades 9-12 in Anchorage, Alaska, as well as students from neighboring Turnagain Arm communities of Girdwood and Indian. South Anchorage High School is part of the Anchorage School District, and opened in the fall of 2004. The official school colors of South are black and gold, and its mascot is the wolverine. As of November 25, 2016, the school had an enrollment of 1,459.

KYMG (98.9 FM) is a commercial adult contemporary music radio station in Anchorage, Alaska. It is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc.. Its studios are located at Dimond Center in Anchorage, and its transmitter is located off Dowling Road in Southeast Anchorage.

KGOT (101.3 FM) is a commercial radio station in Anchorage, Alaska. The station airs a Top 40 - CHR radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. Along with its sister stations, it broadcasts from studios on East Dimond Boulevard in the Dimond Center. It carries On Air with Ryan Seacrest in middays and American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest on Sundays. KGOT has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 26,000 watts as a Class C2 station. The transmitter is off Dowling Road near North Drive in Southeast Anchorage.
