Elmer is a coastal village in the Arun district of West Sussex, England. It is part of the built-up area around Bognor Regis. Its postal address is "Elmer, Bognor Regis". In the small shopping area are the local shop, launderette, Indian restaurant and estate agents, along with two pubs The Cabin and The Elmer. The area also includes the hamlet of Ancton, centred on Ancton Farm, which is considerably older than Elmer, which has only been developed within the last 50 years. The whole area of Elmer used to be farmland until the housing drive of the postwar years when the Elmer Sands Estate was constructed. Much of the original housing in the Elmer Sands estate consisted of old railway carriages; over the years these are being replaced by modern housing. The beach at Elmer [Elmer Sands] is like most West Sussex beaches, pebbles at high tide and sand at mid to low tide with the beach divided by wooden groynes. During the early 19th century Damien Cox, a British Archeologist, discovered the fossilized remains of a Sus domesticus whilst excavating in the beach area. The fossils are now held in the local village post office, where visitors can purchase postcards and other local memorabilia.

Bilsham Chapel is a deconsecrated former chapel in the hamlet of Bilsham in West Sussex, England. Founded in the 13th century as a chapel of ease to the parish church of Yapton, the nearest village, the small flint building fell out of religious use around the time of the Reformation. It has subsequently been used for storage and as labourers' cottages, and since 1972 it has been a single residential property. English Heritage has listed it at Grade II for its architectural and historical importance.

Bognor Regis and Littlehampton (contemp. RP [/ˈbɒɡnə ɹʷiːd͡ʒɪs ænd lɪtl̩hæmptn̩/, /-æmtn̩/]) is a constituency in West Sussex represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 1997 by Nick Gibb, a Conservative.

Yapton Free Church (also known as Yapton Evangelical Free Church) is an Evangelical church in the village of Yapton in West Sussex, England. The "pretty flint building" dates from 1861, when it was built for a group of Congregational worshippers who had been active in the area for several years. Growth in membership during the 20th century meant that by the 1990s some services and activities were held in larger premises elsewhere, but the chapel remains registered as a place of worship. The church is denominationally independent but is associated with a worldwide cross-denomination network of churches called Partners in Harvest. The church building has been listed at Grade II by Historic England for its architectural and historical importance.

Yapton is a village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. It is centred three miles (4.8 km) north east of Bognor Regis at the intersection of the B2132 and B2233 roads. The parish of Yapton lies on the coastal plain south west of Arundel, between the South Downs and the sea. St Mary the Virgin parish church, 13th century or earlier in origin, is in the centre of the village. It houses a twelfth-century font. Nearby, Yapton Free Church was built in 1861 as a Congregational chapel but is now Evangelical in character. Yapton C of E Primary School was founded in 1864.Other settlements in the parish include Bilsham and Flansham. The settlement of Bilsham was listed in the Domesday Book of 1086 as having 14 households. Bilsham Chapel is a deconsecrated former chapel of ease to St Mary the Virgin Church; it dates from the 13th–14th century but fell out of use in the mid-16th century. The building is now a house.

John Baker's Mill (or Barnham Windmill) is a grade II listed tower mill at Barnham, Sussex, England, which was under restoration and is now to be converted to residential use.

Blake's Cottage stands in the village of Felpham, West Sussex. The house dates from the 17th century. Its name commemorates the occupancy of the poet William Blake, who lived in the cottage from 1800 to 1803. During his time at the house, Blake wrote the verses "And did those feet in ancient time", the preface to his Milton: A Poem in Two Books, which were later set to music as the hymn "Jerusalem". The cottage, now owned by a trust, is a Grade II* listed building.

Felpham (/ˈfelpəm/, sometimes pronounced locally as Felf-fm or Fel-thm) is a village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. Although sometimes considered part of the urban area of greater Bognor Regis, it is a village and civil parish in its own right, having an area of 1.645 square miles, (4.26 km),2 with a population of 9,611 people that is still growing (2001 census). The population at the 2011 Census was 9,746.Felpham lies on the B2259 coastal road. The 12th century Anglican parish church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. There is also a Methodist church close to the three-way junction of Felpham Way, Flansham Lane and Middleton Road, in the east of the village.

Felpham SSSI is a 1-hectare (2.5-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Bognor Regis in West Sussex. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This short stretch of shoreline is one of only three in Britain to have fossils of flora dating to the Paleocene, the first epoch after the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event 66 million years ago. It has yielded four previously unknown genera and sixteen new species.The beach is open to the public.
