Pinehurst State Airport (FAA LID: 24S) is a public airport located 1 mile (1.6 km) southwest of Pinehurst, in Jackson County, Oregon, United States.

Lincoln is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, Oregon, United States. It lies along Oregon Route 66 (Greens Springs Highway) between Ashland and Klamath Falls in the Siskiyou Mountains near Pinehurst. It is within the boundaries of the Cascade–Siskiyou National Monument. Oregon Geographic Names, citing an article in the Medford Mail-Tribune of September 29, 1929, says that Lincoln was named for Lincoln, New Hampshire, by a family whose surname was Henry. The family, formerly operating in New England, owned a lumber mill in Lincoln.

The Oregon Extension ("The OE") is an American college educational extension program focused on nature, religion, community, sustainability, and what it means to be human. The OE was established in 1975 and is located in the Cascade–Siskiyou National Monument, near Ashland, Oregon. With a focus on small-group learning, the OE provides a semester-long experience for students from colleges across the United States. In a survey of 200 alumni of the Oregon Extension, author Philip S. Francis says that the typical response was, "The Oregon Extension was a life-defining experience for me."

Tub Springs State Wayside is a state park in the U.S. state of Oregon, administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.

Chinquapin Mountain is a summit in the U.S. state of Oregon. The elevation is 6,089 feet (1,856 m). Chinquapin Mountain was named for the Chinquapin trees in the area. Chinquapin Mountain and nearby Little Chinquapin Mountain are both shield volcanoes. They contain olivine basalt.

Hyatt Reservoir is a reservoir in Jackson County, Oregon, United States, 14 miles (23 km) east of Ashland. Impounded by Hyatt Dam, the water is used for irrigation and recreation. A local irrigation district built the dam in 1923. Located at an elevation of 5,016 feet (1,529 m), the lake supports populations of bass, trout, and other species. The Bureau of Land Management oversees a large public recreation complex adjacent to the lake.

Howard Prairie Lake is a reservoir located 4,526 feet (1,380 m) above sea level in Jackson County, Oregon, United States. It is 18 miles (29 km) east of Ashland. The lake is formed by the 100-foot (30 m) tall Howard Prairie Dam, which impounds Beaver Creek, in the Klamath River watershed.

Green Springs Mountain is a summit in the U.S. state of Oregon. The elevation is 5,226 feet (1,593 m). Green Springs Mountain was named for the characteristic green foliage around a mountain spring.

Buckhorn Springs is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, Oregon, United States. It lies along Emigrant Creek in the Siskiyou Mountains southeast of Ashland. Buckhorn Springs Road connects the community to Oregon Route 66 near Emigrant Lake. The springs at this location are known for their cold, highly carbonated water. James C. Tolman, who acquired the property around the springs in the 1890s, built a small hotel here called Tolman Springs. Subsequent owners used the property, springs, and buildings in various ways: as a hunting retreat called Buckhorn Lodge; as a picnic stop for tourists who sometimes used the carbonated water to make soda pop; as a retreat with overnight cabins and mineral mud baths; as a health spa, as a private residence; as an inn, and after 1998 as the Buckhorn Springs Retreat Center. Buckhorn Mineral Springs Resort was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The site covers 95 acres (38 ha) and includes many structures in addition to the main lodge.

Tyler Creek is a stream in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is a tributary to Emigrant Creek. Tyler Creek was named in the 1870s after James M. Tyler.

Pilot Rock is a prominent volcanic plug located in the western Cascade Range near the east end of the Siskiyou Mountains, just east of the Siskiyou Summit near Ashland, Oregon. Rising thousands of feet above the Shasta and Rogue valleys, it is a landmark distinguishable from over 40 miles (64 km) away. At 25.6 million years old, it is one of the oldest formations of the Cascade Range. The rock is protected by the Cascade–Siskiyou National Monument and the Soda Mountain Wilderness. Several trails pass near Pilot Rock, including the Pacific Crest Trail.

Wall Creek is a stream in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is a tributary to Hill Creek.Wall Creek was named in the 1870s after one Andrew J. Walls.
