Cheam Road

Cheam was an authorised railway station planned by the Wimbledon and Sutton Railway (W&SR) and Underground Electric Railways Company of London (UERL) but never built. It was to be located on Cheam Road in Sutton in south-west London.

Homefield Preparatory School (or simply Homefield) is a 3–13 private boys preparatory day school in Sutton, Greater London, England established in 1870. In the early years of its history, it was described as "A Preparatory School for the Sons of Gentlemen” and as giving “carefully graduated preparation for Public Schools and Royal Navy, either on the classical or on the modern side”.

Cheam () is a suburb of London, England, 10.9 miles (17.5 km) south-west of Charing Cross. It is divided into North Cheam, Cheam Village and South Cheam. Cheam Village contains the listed buildings Lumley Chapel and the 16th-century Whitehall. It is adjacent to two large parks, Nonsuch Park and Cheam Park. Nonsuch Park contains the listed Nonsuch Mansion. Parts of Cheam Park and Cheam Village are in a conservation area. Cheam is bordered by Worcester Park to the north-west, Morden to the north-east, Sutton to the east, Epsom, Ewell and Stoneleigh to the west and Banstead and Belmont to the south.

Sutton High School is an independent day school for girls aged 3–18 in Sutton, Greater London. It is run by the Girls' Day School Trust (GDST). It was founded in 1884 by the then Girls' Public Day School Trust (GPDST), and was a direct grant grammar school (some pupils having their fees paid by the local authority as in a state grammar school) until this system was abolished in 1976. The first headmistress was Miss Margaret Whyte, and there were 80 pupils on the opening day, 17 January 1884. It has been listed in "Top 100 Independent School" Sunday Times Parent Power Guide, November 2011.

Gander Green Lane, officially known as the VBS Community Stadium, is a football stadium in Sutton, south London, and the home ground of Sutton United. The record attendance for Gander Green Lane is 14,000 when Sutton United lost 6–0 to Leeds United in the fourth round of the 1969–70 FA Cup.In recent times the pitch has played host to England C team and FA Sunday Cup matches. From 2015 the surface was a FIFA 2-Star quality 3G pitch, FIFA's highest rating for 3G artificial pitches, but after winning promotion in 2021 Football League playing surface regulations obliged Sutton to replace the 3G surface with grass. During the 2021-22 pre-season the club installed a hybrid grass "PowerGrass" pitch.

The Secombe Theatre (originally the Secombe Centre) was a theatre in Cheam Road, Sutton, Greater London. The theatre was opened in 1983 by the Welsh comedian Sir Harry Secombe, who lived in Sutton for over 30 years, and was named after him. The theatre went into administration and closed in August 2016. A petition to save Sutton's theatres was run in late 2016, gaining 1,350 signatures.

St Alban's, Cheam, also known as the Church of St Alban the Martyr, is one of three Church of England churches in the parish of Cheam in the London Borough of Sutton.It was founded in 1930 and, inspired by the building of a barn church in North Sheen (now incorporated into Kew), was constructed using materials from the farmhouse, barns and other outbuildings at Cheam Court Farm, which may have been connected with Henry VIII's Nonsuch Palace. Edward Swan, the Barn Church's architect, was also commissioned as one of the architects for the new church at Cheam.

Trinity Church, Sutton is a Grade II listed church in the centre of Sutton, London. It was built in 1907 in the Gothic style with Kentish ragstone with Bath stone dressings. It was designed by architects Gordon and Gunton.
