St. Clement's Church (Храм Священномученика Климента, Папы Римского) is one of the two Orthodox churches in Moscow dedicated to a Roman Pope, St. Clement I. The massive five-domed two-storey church used to dominate the skyline of Zamoskvorechye. It was built between 1762 and 1769 on the site of a church erected in 1720.The church is considered a major example of Elizabethan Baroque, but the architect is unknown. It has been often attributed to Pietro Antonio Trezzini, the architect of St Sampson's Cathedral in St. Petersburg. The belfry and refectory were designed by Dmitry Ukhtomsky and built in 1756—1758.The church is renowned for its glittering Baroque interior and iconostasis, as well as a set of gilded 18th-century railings. The parish was disbanded in 1934 and the original free-standing gate was demolished. The Lenin State Library stored its books in the building throughout the Soviet period. It was not until 2008 that the building reverted to the Russian Orthodox Church.

Novokuznetskaya (Russian: Новокузнецкая) is a Moscow Metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line. The station was opened on 20 November 1943.

The Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Moscow is the diplomatic mission of Tanzania in the Russian Federation. It is located in embassy quarter on Bol'shaya Nikitskaja Str., house #51, that was previously occupied by the embassy of Morocco. Prior to 2013, the Tanzanian embassy was located at 33 Pyatnitskaya Street (Russian: Пятницкая ул., 33) in the Zamoskvorechye District of Moscow.The old Embassy occupied a listed memorial building - Korobkova House - built in two stages in 1890s. The oldest, northern part of the building contains a two-story core, built in 1866 and rebuilt in ornate late eclecticism by Lev Kekushev (1890-1894). In the same decade the owners acquired an adjacent southern lot and hired Sergey Schutzmann to expand the building from Kekushev's 21×23 to 30×23 meters. The annex, completed in 1899, corresponds to the three southernmost windows on the main facade. Instead of expanding Kekushev's original artwork to the south annex, Schutzmann completely redesigned the facade, radically changing its appearance. Public sources frequently, and incorrectly, credit the building to Kekushev alone or present Kekushev's and Schutzmann's work as a joint collaboration. For a short period following relocation of Academy of Sciences from Leningrad to Moscow (1934) the building was a residence of the Academy's Presidents Alexander Karpinsky (1935-1936) and Vladimir Komarov (1936-1945). Korobkova House was most recently renovated in 2000-2001.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Moscow (Turkmen: Türkmenistanyň Russiýadaky ilçihanasy) is the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation. It is located at Moscow, Filippovskiy lane 22. The current Ambassador is Batyr Niyazliyev. The building was constructed in 1908 as an apartment house (architect Georgy Evlanov) and was later rebuilt.

Zamoskvorechye District (Russian: райо́н Замоскворе́чье) is a district of Central Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia. Population: 55,612 (2010 Census); 50,590 (2002 Census).The district contains the eastern half of historical Zamoskvorechye area (its western half is administered by Yakimanka District), and the territories of Zatsepa Street and Paveletsky Rail Terminal south of the Garden Ring. The boundary between Yakimanka and Zamoskvorechye districts follows Balchug Street and Bolshaya Ordynka Street (north of Garden Ring), Korovy Val and Mytnaya streets (south of Garden Ring).

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Moscow (Indonesian: Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di Moskwa; Russian: Посольство Индонезии в Москве) is the diplomatic mission of Indonesia in the Russian Federation and concurrently accredited to the Republic of Belarus. It is located at 12 Novokuznetskaya Street (Russian: Новокузнецкая ул., 12) in the Zamoskvorechye District of Moscow.The Embassy occupies two former private residences built on adjacent lots in the beginning of the 20th century. The first, Protopopov-Tatischev House, was built in 1900s to the design of Vladimir Sherwood (Jr.). In 1911-1913 it was expanded by Gustav Helrich, who also designed and built the service buildings located deep inside the Embassy territory. The second is the residence of princes Urusov, was built in 1912 to the design of Ivan Rerberg. All these buildings are officially recognized listed memorials.

The Embassy of the Republic of Mali in Moscow is the diplomatic mission of Mali in the Russian Federation and accredited to several countries of the former CIS. It is located at 11 Novokuznetskaya Street (Russian: ул. Новокузнецкая, 11) in the Zamoskvorechye District of Moscow.

The L. I. Geltischeva Mansion (Russian: Особняк Л. И. Гельтищевой) is a building in the center of Moscow (Average Ovchinnikovsky Lane, Building 8, Building 1). It was built in 1904 by the architect F. F. Voskresensky in the Art Nouveau style. L. I. Geltischeva's mansion has the status of an object of cultural heritage of federal significance.

The Writers' House in Lavrushinsky Lane (Russian: Дом писателей в Лаврушинском переулке) is a residential building located in Moscow, Russia, an architectural monument and a cultural heritage site of Russia of regional significance.

The Resurrection Church in Kadashi Sloboda (Храм Воскресения Христова в Кадашах) is a major Naryshkin Baroque church in Moscow (Yakimanka District), formerly the tallest building in Zamoskvorechye. It may still be seen from Red Square. A wooden church on this site was documented as early as 1493. The elongated five-domed church with an elegantly "laced" belfry was constructed between 1687 and 1695. The interior was frescoed in the late 17th century. Napoleon's soldiers desecrated the church, turning it into a stables. In the 19th century, the icon screen was restored, the galleries and apses were expanded, and several outsize domed porches were added. The church was closed by the Soviets in 1934 and was adapted for accommodation of a KGB archive. It was not returned to the Russian Orthodox Church until December 2006. There was much media focus on the Kadashi Church in 2010 when Moscow mayor, Yuri Luzhkov, ordered the demolition of several old buildings near the church, including a deacon's house from 1813, in order to replace them with an elite apartment complex. The decision was viewed as Luzhkov's latest attack on Moscow's architectural heritage in the interests of building companies and sparked a resistance campaign labelled the "battle of Kadashi" by the Russian media.

The Old Mosque of Moscow (Russian: Московская историческая мечеть, Moskovskaya istoricheskaya mechet) was built in 1823 to replace an earlier private mosque that had been destroyed by the 1812 fire. Its location is Bolshaya Tatarskaya Street in Zamoskvorechye, a neighbourhood formerly settled by the Tatars. The land was owned by a Tatar merchant, Nasarbai Hashalov. The tsarist authorities permitted the construction of a "Muslim house of prayer" on condition that it would not be called a mosque and that its facade would not differ significantly from neighbouring houses. The cupola and minaret were added in 1880. The madrasa dates from 1915.The mosque was shut down by the Soviets in 1939 and the minaret was demolished in 1967. The last imam was purged in 1963 and later shot. Worship in the mosque did not resume until 1993. The minaret has been rebuilt in 1992.

Sadovnichesky Bridge (Russian: Cадовнический мост) is a cоncrete pedestrian arch bridge that spans Vodootvodny Canal in historical Zamoskvorechye district of Moscow, Russia. The bridge connects Balchug island with Zamoskvorechye mainland. It was built in 1963, designed by Nina Bragina (structural engineering), V.A. Korchagin and K.P. Savelyev (architectural design). It is Moscow's nearest adaptation of a Moon bridge.
