Somerset (Ward 14) is a city ward in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It covers the neighbourhoods of Downtown Ottawa, Centretown, Lebreton Flats and most of Centretown West. It is Ottawa's smallest and most dense ward. It is represented on Ottawa City Council by Ariel Troster. It has an area of 6.5 km² and a projected 2006 population of 38,500. According to Canada 2001 Census it had a population of 36,365. The ward was created in 1994 when Dalhousie Ward and Wellington Ward were merged.

L'esplanade Laurier is an office complex in downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It consists of two 23-storey towers, a three storey underground parking garage and a podium containing a two-storey shopping mall. The entire structure is clad in white carrara marble, making it clearly stand out from the other towers in the city. At 88 metres tall, the two towers are the ninth and tenth tallest in the city. It is located at the intersection of major Ottawa streets, Laurier Avenue between Bank Street and O'Connor Street. The lower two levels of the buildings stretch across the entire block and house a small shopping arcade.

The National Council of Women of Canada (NCWC, French: Conseil national des femmes du Canada, (CNFC)) is a Canadian advocacy organization based in Ottawa, Ontario, aimed at improving conditions for women, families, and communities. A federation of nationally-organized societies of men and women and local and provincial councils of women, it is the Canadian member of the International Council of Women (ICW). The Council has concerned itself in areas including women's suffrage, immigration, health care, education, mass media, the environment, and many others. Formed on October 27, 1893 in Toronto, Ontario, it is one of the oldest advocacy organizations in the country. Lady Aberdeen was elected the first president of the National Council of Women of Canada in 1893. Prominent Council leaders included Lady Gzowski, Dr. Augusta Stowe-Gullen, and Adelaide Hoodless.

Constitution Square is a three-tower office complex, located in downtown Ottawa, Ontario at 340, 350 and 360 Albert Street. It is home to a variety of businesses, organizations and embassies. The three towers are owned and operated by global real estate investor, developer and owner Oxford Properties Group. The 1,058,046 square foot complex, located in the heart of the capital city's downtown core, is close to Ottawa's Parliament Hill and key federal buildings, and is a neighbour to the city's prominent financial and high tech industries. It is home of the Liberal Party of Canada. The first tower comprises 18 floors, and was completed in 1986, while tower two was completed in 1992 with 21 floors. In July 2005, it was announced that a third tower with 19 floors would be added to the complex, and tower three opened less than two years later, within the original budget.The building has underground parking, a fitness center and 24-hour security.

The Rideau Club is a private social club in Ottawa, Ontario. The club was founded in 1865 by Sir John A. Macdonald and Sir George-Étienne Cariter as a gentlemen's club, but since 1979 has been mixed-sex. For much of its history the club was populated primarily by parliamentarians. In 1876 the Rideau built its clubhouse at 84 Wellington Street, where it remained until the building burned down in 1979. Since the fire, the club has been located in the top floor of the Metropolitan Life Building at 99 Bank Street.

The High Commission of New Zealand in Ottawa (in Māori: Te Kāinga Māngai Kāwanatanga o Aotearoa i Ottawa) is located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on Elgin Street in Downtown Ottawa and serves residents and tourists from New Zealand. New Zealand also maintains a consulate-general in Vancouver.
