It is one of the state's largest shopping centers with 1,040,000 square feet (97,000 m2) of retail space and is continuing to be developed. The shopping center is anchored by Target, Big Lots, PetSmart, Meijer, Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Staples, Regal Cinemas, Half Price Books, Barnes & Noble, At Home, Bed Bath & Beyond, Total Wine & More, Value City Furniture, Gordon Food Service (GFS), Cost Plus World Market, Buy Buy Baby, and Best Buy. It is part of the Hamburg Place development.Restaurants include Bonefish Grill, Johnny Carino's, Raffertys, Carrabbas Italian Grill, Outback Steakhouse, Old Chicago, Frisch's Big Boy, Red Lobster, and BD's Mongolian Grill. Hotels include TownePlace Suites, Hyatt Place, Courtyard by Marriott, Sleep Inn, Holiday Inn, Homewood Suites by Hilton, and Residence Inn by Marriott. Hamburg Pavilion was developed on land that was once part of Hamburg Place Farm, for which its name is derived. The first stores opened in the shopping center in 1997.

WTVQ-DT (channel 36) is a television station in Lexington, Kentucky, United States, affiliated with ABC and MyNetworkTV. Owned by Morris Multimedia, the station maintains studios and transmitter facilities on the outer loop of Man o' War Boulevard (KY 1425) in the Brighton section of Fayette County, across Winchester Road from the studios of unrelated station WKYT-TV. The station began broadcasting on channel 62 as WBLG-TV in 1968 and has been an ABC affiliate for its entire history. It changed its call letters to WTVQ in 1973 and moved to channel 36 in 1980. With the exception of most of the 1990s, the station's local newscasts have generally rated third out of the four main TV newsrooms in Lexington.

Eastside Technical Center is a public high school located in Lexington, Kentucky, United States, within the Fayette County Public School System. The school goes beyond this boundary, Eastside Technical Center serves students from all public high schools in Fayette, Jessamine, Scott, and Woodford Counties. Their mission is to prepare their students for entry level technical occupations, two-year community colleges, or two-year technical colleges and four-year universities.

Frederick Douglass High School is a public high school located on the eastern side of Lexington, Kentucky, United States. The school is one of six high schools in the Fayette County Public Schools district and was constructed to reduce overcrowding at Bryan Station High School and Henry Clay High School.Frederick Douglass High School is named after the 19th century African-American abolitionist Frederick Douglass. Opened in August 2017, the school is the newest high school in the Fayette County Public Schools system.

Greenbrier is a neighborhood in southeastern Lexington, Kentucky, United States. At the time of its building in the 1960s it was a rural subdivision, though it is now bounded by new subdivisions to its west. Its boundaries are Winchester Road to the north, Walnut Grove Lane to the east, east of Blackford Parkway to the south, and the Hamburg Farm to the west.

Walnut Hill Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church meeting house in Lexington, Kentucky. The church building was constructed in 1801 on land donated by Mary Todd Lincoln's grandfather Levi Todd. It replaced a log meetinghouse which had been built in 1785. It is a stone 40 by 50 feet (12 m × 15 m) structure which had two rows of square windows. It was renovated in 1880; the renovation replaced the square windows by Gothic shaped ones. Stone front steps were donated in 1900.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

WBUL-FM (98.1 MHz) is one of four country music radio stations serving the Lexington, Kentucky radio market. The station broadcasts with an ERP of 100,000 watts, with a nearly 100-mile broadcasting radius. The station is heard as far south as London, as far east as Grayson, as far north as Cincinnati and as far west as Louisville. iHeartMedia, Inc. currently owns the station. WBUL-FM was the third station to begin broadcasting HD Radio in Lexington after WUKY and WKQQ. The station serves as the FM flagship of the UK Sports Network, airing Kentucky Wildcats football and men's basketball to make up for shortfalls in coverage by AM flagship and sister station WLAP.
