Bródno Cemetery

Bródno is a neighborhood in the Warsaw borough of Targówek, located on the eastern side of the Vistula river. It is inhabited by approximately 100,000 people. Among the most notable landmarks are Bródno Park and the Bródno cemetery, the largest cemetery in Warsaw and one of the largest cemeteries in Europe.

Bródno Jewish Cemetery (also known as the Jewish Cemetery in Praga) is one of several Jewish cemeteries of Warsaw in Poland. The cemetery is located in the district of Targówek (near the better known district of Praga, and within Praga's unofficial neighborhood). The cemetery has been founded in 1780. It occupies an area of 5 hectares (12 acres). Approximately 300,000 people are presumed to have been buried there, though only about 3,000 graves (tombstones) are preserved to this day.It is the largest Jewish cemetery in Warsaw. It is also said to be one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in Europe.

The Bródno Park (Polish: Park Bródnowski) is an urban park in Warsaw, Poland. It is located in the neighbourhood of Bródno within the district of Targówek, between Kondratowicza Street, Chodecka Street, Wyszogrodzka Street; and Łabiszyńska Street. It was opened in 1978.

As of 2011, it is used by Koleje Mazowieckie, who run the KM9 services from Warszawa Wola or Warszawa Zachodnia through the north of the Masovian Voivodeship to Działdowo, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship via Legionowo, Nasielsk, Modlin, Ciechanów and Mława, at all of which some trains terminate, and by Szybka Kolej Miejska, who run services to Wieliszew, with some trains terminating at Legionowo or Legionowo Piaski.

The bust of Józef Szanajca (Polish: popiersie Józefa Szanajcy) is a monument in Warsaw, Poland, placed at the corner of Sznajcy and Jagiellońska Street, within the neighbourhood of New Praga, of the district of Praga-North. It is dedicated to Józef Szanajca, a 19th- and 20th-century architect, and one of the most influential artists of the modernist movement in Poland. The original sculpture was designed by Bohdan Lachert in 1944, while the monument was unvailed on 24 September 1979.
